  1. I wasn't saying all people who didn't get in are unhappy. I'm saying the only ones who are unhappy are those who didn't get in. All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares.
  2. Can you provide documentation supporting anything you said? If not, I shall attribute it to you throwing a tantrum. Also, what makes people in the Red Zone think they are entitled to ANYTHING? Bioware has no obligation to open the game to any part of the world. That is purely their choice. What right does anyone have to get mad over that?
  3. Red zone is not their fault. Blame those nations and their laws concerning video games. Also, blame retailers for when they get their product to customers. Everyone is blaming Bioware for stuff that is really the fault of third parties.
  4. Well you would respond with a valid counterpoint if you had one. And given your sign-up date on the site, I'm going to guess that you didn't pre-order in July and your ire is from that.
  5. Wrong. The only people who aren't happy with things are those who did not get in today. I did and I'm happy. But then again, I entered my code on July 22 according to site time. They extended early access from 5 days to 7 days, that is a GOOD thing. And how have they not been open about the access? They said you would know if you got in by e-mail. And they have been posting on their Facebook page everyime they sent out a wave of e-mails. AND they added a bonus wave. This isn't bad PR. This is "I didn't pre-order soon enough and didn't get in on Day 1 so I'm gonna huff and puff and cry and blame Bioware for being a big old *****-head".
  6. Reaper was taken this morning when I tried to get it. But I did get: Scythe Sinister (Darth Sinister just sounds awesome) Wren Jericho Atticus
  7. What wasn't clear about the staggered launch? I've known about the staggered launch since July. They were very clear and open about it. They didn't give hard numbers on what dates get in, but why would they? The posts are ridiculous from the people who didn't get in.
  8. There is nothing to come to terms about. It is a bunch of self-entitled wining. A bunch of people decide to jump on the TOR bandwagon at the last minute and are complaining about those who pre-ordered their game on Day 1 getting in first. I have been reading the forums all day at work disgusted by the community as a whole over this. I've tried to avoid the General Forums and stick to the other ones to get helpful info. I've never seen a bigger bunch of babies than what I have read here today.
  9. People like you make my head hurt. There was no lotto. Lotto suggests a game of chance that anyone could have a chance of winning at random. From Day 1 of pre-orders it was said you would be granted early access based on when you entered your code. There is no guessing there. There is no random luck of the draw. There is no lotto. You get into the game based on when you entered your pre-order code. What is hard to grasp about that?
  10. There are tons of great deals on computers right now with it being the holiday season. Just shop around.
  11. The forums should have only allowed posting once you got your invite.
  12. No. I pre-ordered mine on July 21. If you did it after that, you are not the same as me nor should you get the same treatment. I put up my money right off the bat knowing I wanted in ASAP. Everyone knew what was at stake. Now stop your self-entitled whining and man up.
  13. Who cares if the servers are full or not? Bioware can roll out the welcome mat as they see fit. All the people that dragged their feet on pre-ordering and complaining about it on the forums are starting to get annoying. They should have prohibited forum posting privileges until you got your invite e-mail.
  14. Thanks for doing this thread again. I read your last one in the original forums and found it very helpful. Scythe- Bounty Hunter- Warriors of the Shadow Server
  15. Layton here. My buddy and I are playing on Warriors of the the Shadow for any Utah players into PvP. I will be making a guild when I get home from work. He and I have played WoW together for years and were avid PvPers. My player is: Scythe- Bounty Hunter
  16. I appreciate the feedback. Like you, I was weighing all the different factors and wanted to get other's input. It is hard to say at this point what the money makers will be. But I like reading people's rationale on what they think. I've changed my thoughts on what to get several times in the past day alone.
  17. This also adds to the profit by allowing you to sell your quest items and auction off loot drops which you would otherwise be reverse engineering if you had a production skill.
  18. I'm kinda thinking the same thing to start. I was contemplating going slicing/bioanalysis/scavenging to start. The bioanalysis and scavenging offer lots of opportunity for gathering simply by questing. And then I can sell of all the mats from those. And then for slicing, I can be sending my companion on quests for that.
  19. I've read up on the topic quite a bit through beta, and I know some changes went into place right at the end there. Slicing used to be a big money-maker and then it got nerfed I read. And you can only get blue recipes now if you have corresponding skills. How far does that go? Does that mean you need to have a Armormech, scavenging, and Underworld Trading all together in order to get a blue recipe or just Armormech and scavenging? Does having straight gathering or taking something like slicing for profit offset the loss of blue recipes? Or are you better off selling those items? And lots of people will have scavenging and there are droids all over. So are gathering professions like bioanalysis and archeology better? There are fewer skills that require those and chances are those that take those skills will take the corresponding gathering skill. Do you think you are better off selling mats to start, or actual crafted items? I know things are just starting and that things will run different from beta, but I wanted to get some people's thoughts on where the best credit making paths are with the crew skills.
  20. You should get your tools correct before ranting and raving. Random Dungeon Finder has been around for like a couple of years now. You are talking about the Raid Finder tool.
  21. You can access the VIP room for 1million credits. CE vendor remains only available to those that bought the CE.
  22. If people wanted to be first that badly, then they should have pre-ordered early like the rest of us.
  23. I had to go to work. As much as I want to play, working takes priority. I did log on long enough to reserve some names though.
  24. My code shows as being entered on 7/22. Though, I entered it on 7/21 my time, which was around 8:30pm MST. I got in today, but not until somewhere between 8:30am and 9:15am MST. So, I wasn't first wave for sure. I'm guessing I was third wave.
  25. I rolled on Warriors of the Shadow, and will be starting a guild there. I didn't want to be on a server with "Nad(d)s" in the name.lol
