I fail to see how ranked doesn't exist because of regstar guilds. The fact that a 'regstar' guild exists is irrelevant; really the lack of 'ranked' guilds is the problem. If those even exist.

Personally I have never hit a 30k ambush followed by a 15k followthrough. I don't even hit 15k followthrough with the 20% buff. Now clearly there are a lot of undergeared people queueing right now, but when I turn my sights on someone who ACTUALLY has the new pvp gear, my damage is nowhere near what you people are complaining about. That being said, even if snipers become a little heavy on the dps compared to everyone else, what's wrong with that? Why can't we have our time in the spotlight?

It's been a great ride. WoX started as my enemy and then they became my favorite people. So now that I'm gone someone else will have to (excuse my big head) take my spot as best pvp slinger over here on the harbinger... Lol Btw my favorite snipers/slingers are Bolan Xet'a and Myx'an Anyways I'll miss it; maybe I'll come back.. but more than likely most of WoX is about to become inactive anyway. Love ya guys! If you 55 pvp you've probably run into me at some point on one of my toons so I hope you enjoyed having me on your team!

In the case of SS, your dps rotation should be similar to the pve rotation. Your main focus should be using trickshot As much as possible, meaning WHENEVER off CD. One benefit of slinger is that with a 35 meter range, you can usually switch targets without even restarting the rotation, which you should do before moving if possible whenever your target goes out of range or line of sight.

This same disparity does exist between mercenaries and commandos, but it is not nearly as significant. Gunslinger/sniper damage is based almost entirely on weapon damage, particularly MM/SS trees. Sab/Eng gains a majority of damage from SoS/Speed Shots, and cull/wounding shots benefit greatly from weapon damage. Not to mention that the base damage of each weapon-based attack has a significantly higher maximum damage range with almost exactly the same stats. Soon to be no longer relevant is the proc chance for a shorter cast time on ambush. Slinger has about 1.75x more chance of gaining this (give or take 8% depending on accuracy, when base for offhand is 67%)
