  1. I have seen this issue as well. Not always, but when it happens, it's incredibly annoying. 1. Hit a button for an ability. 2. Watch the CGD "timer" slide down all the hot buttons. 3. Wait even longer for the skill animation to finally begin. If it's an "instant" skill, it fires at this point, if it's a "timed" ability (like Charged Burst for Smuggler), this is when the timer for the ability will finally start. 4. Wait for skill animation to end, so hitting the next skill doesn't "interrupt" the one in progress. Repeat. Worse yet is when hitting the key for a skill causes the mob to "notice" my character and attack, while I'm still waiting for the skill (or skill timer) to start. Best workaround I've found for this (when soloing) is to always hit Ctrl+1 first, so my companion starts attacking. Not an option when you're in a group and companions are all dismissed. 1. Left click first mob to select it as "target", then hover cursor over second mob. 2. Hit Ctrl+1 to order companion to attack first mob, then click on second mob. 3. Click on a skill and watch the GCD run while waiting for skill to actually "fire" (or skill timer to start). 4. Hope step 3 ends before companion finishes off his current mob and moves on to my currently targeted one and kills it, too. 5. Try to target another mob before my companion kills them all and repeat steps 3 & 4. I haven't noticed that companions have this delay in skill activation. So while the companion automagically does all his/her/its skills without any delays, I muddle along, targeting mobs and hoping I get a skill or two to fire before my companion kills it.
  2. ^^This.^^ Think of Light Side points as + and Dark Side points as -, then combine them to see where your total falls on the LS/DS scale to get your alignment. Being Light I or Dark II or whatever means your combination of LS and DS points gives you that alignment. "Forbidden to Dark I" means if your combined points equals -1000 or lower, you can't use that item. So if you want to be able to use it you will need to earn more LS points to get it above that -1000 level. And then you will lock yourself out of using gear that requires Dark I (or Dark II, etc.). Probably better (for a sith, anyway) to work on finding a different crystal.
  3. You can't find the search button because there isn't one. There was one, but BW removed it a couple months back. As for the your real question, go ahead and RP your character however you like. Going full LS with a Sith won't have a significant affect on your character. It will stop you from being able to equip gear with a DS requirement (like red color crystals), but will allow you to use LS gear. The difference is just cosmetic. Your DS or LS alignment may have some minor impact on NPC "attitude" and dialogue, and DS/LS dialogue choices may also affect companion affection. And even if you play Republic and go full Light, or Empire and go full Dark, sometimes those choices will cause you to lose affection with your companion. But don't worry about that. You can always buy off your companion with gifts to make up for it.
  4. Yep. Not quite as broken as yours, but the first digit is partly missing. At least I can tell (so far) what the first digit is suposed to be so I can still use the thing, but it's still annoying.
  5. DDE and CE purchasers get access to the VIP area. But only CE purchasers can use the CE vendor in the VIP area.
  6. I don't recall exactly, but I managed to level up going from Ord Mantell to Coruscant just on "exploring". Between finding "new" areas, and talking to NPCs, I think I was level 5 without ever fighting a thing. But I was still broke, and couldn't take the taxi to the Old Galactic Market. And yeah, no doubt folks will be sending all sorts of cash, gear, and resources to their alts very early on. Like yesterday. I suppose if I was really desperate, I could have sat in the taxi pad and begged folks for the fare. That'd be "appropriate" RP, yes?
  7. There's a small problem with this. The furthest an unassisted character can make it is the Senate taxi pad, at which point you'll be stuck due to lack of 25 credits taxi fare to the Old Galactic Market. Although it is possible for a level 1 character to make the trip from Ord Mantell to Coruscant without engaging in any combat (I tried it with a level 1 character, just to be sure), you won't make it all the way to the Dealer's Den without either engaging in at least some combat somewhere, or getting some charity from someone in order to make that last leg of the journey.
  8. From what I have read, the first number is current FPS and second is average. And the number is green if your graphics card is "limiting" it, and red if your cpu is.
