qft. As an IT administrator I would want to curl up and die if a whole server-infrastructure would be down for more than 4 hours (!) just because I didnt tested what I was about to patch. At least I would really really want to ensure that this could never ever happen again.

Why is that? `cause one is paying? Thats why? What kind of argumentation do you try? Would you tell your car mechanist customer "what do you except here? Is is narcissism why you want us to work on time?" Strange, isnt it?

It´s 09:09pm here in germany. The Servers are down for the second time this week. The CXP Boost is passing. What do you think will we do during the next hours while you try continue posting codes? Its friday tomorrow. European citizens, who are waiting for hours, are going to bed, soon. The second day this week with the servers being down during out gaming-primetime and during the 100%XP-Boost-Week. Yes, it is like salt in out wounds to see one-time codes being posted in the freaking middle of our night!

Have ever read "economy" like: None is pissed if a game is down for a reason, but customers are lost when its obviously your fault why they arent online! PTS, patch testing, and nothing would have happened.

If there wasnt enough time for testing then DONT. LET. IT. GO. LIVE! Its not an excuse to say "sorry, but, well,we didnt got the right amount of time for testing and, hehe, you know. Its just a game. Dont be too serious about it. Things like this can happen." No, they shouldn´t. If there is enough time for testing you just dont implement such a serious patch which could, and obviously does, crash the whole freaking game. People get written warnings for this.

I dont want to know what would happen if thousands of players are trying to download the whole game at the same time. Something like this destroyed Alderaan (dont listen to the Rebel Propaganda)!

So...let me see.. You implemented a Patch. A non-tested patch...something not even an administrator in a less-than-400-user-environment would ever do... and now you have no idea what the hell went wrong and how the hell and when you can fix it? And all this happens during the increase-XP-week...twice...during the european primetime... Well...that sounds professional...in a parallel universe...where Gungans rule the galaxy and rain is falling upwards.

Du brauchst ein Jahr um dich auf T3-Niveau zu equippen. Als Gelegenheitsspieler bekommst du das auch mit einem anderen System nicht schneller. Das blosse "durch Ops ziehen lassen" geht jetzt nicht mehr.

Das VC "tot" ist kann ich nicht unterschreiben. Die Spielerzahl ist sicherlich gering wenn man sich das Random PvP und PvE ansieht, bezogen auf Rollenspiel ist da aber immernoch sehr viel los. Erayzor postete die vc-rp.de Community ja bereits. Als Rollenspieler kann man immernoch, wenn man sich die Mühe macht selbst etwas reinzuschauen und nicht nur hofft, dass das Rollenspiel einem bis auf den Schoss getragen wird - was bitte nicht als Unterstellung missverstanden werden soll - sehr viel RP finden. Egal ob man nun im Huttenraum etwas im Crimerrahmen sucht (vornehmlich Nar Shaddaa), ob man Jedi, Rep-Soldaten, Sith oder RP beim imperialen Militär sucht: RP-Gilden und RP-Projekte finden sich auf VC eigentlich noch genügend. Thats just not true. The LucasFilm Story Group is watching and takes care that even KotFE "fits" into the Star Wars Universe. And, by the way, I saw stranger Star Wars Storys then "KotFE". The Vong anyone? The mandalorians as they first appeared in a novel (alongside with Exar Kun)? Or Supreme Leader Snoke in EpVII? Hand up: Does anyone who complains about the KotFE-Story ever, EVER, read a story like "The Golden Age of the Sith" or the Storys about Freedon Nadd and Exar Kun?

Die fanzösischen User melden offenbar gerade auch, dass das Problem partiell auftritt. Ich habe auch etliche Gildies die ohne Probleme online sind und fröhlich aus- und einloggen können. Bei anderen Usern im Freundeskreis geht ebenfalls gar nichts.

Dito. Patchen ging hier noch nicht. Ich sitze seit ca. einer Stunde am Rechner und überlegte schon was hier die Firewall möglicherweise nach einem Appliance Update mal wieder blockt. Das kann ich mir bei den zahlreichen Meldungen hier wohl sparen.

You´re not able to configure a folder exception for the Laucher.exe. The "Browser Security" only accepts URLs as exception for Browser sessions. So: No url to configure, no exception. There is no folder option. You can only configure folder exceptions within the live system search function, but this feature´s not the problem. Its the BS.

Das Problem tritt bei Usern auf die Avira Antivir als Antivirenlösung nutzen. Das Problem ist nicht Euer Treiber. Das Problem ist Avira in der Pro-Version, wenn Ihr gestern ein ca. 25MB großes Update erhalten habt. Schaltet einmal, bevor Ihr den Launcher startet, den Browserschutz in der Avira Konsole ab. Der Bluescreen sollte nicht mehr auftreten. Wenn das Spiel einmal läuft könnt Ihr den Browserschutz auch wieder aktivieren. Irgendetwas im Avira Update lässt den Launcher nicht nur als unerwünschte Browseranwendung erkennen, sondern haut Euch gleich einen Bluescreen links und rechts um die Ohren. Wenn Ihr parallel mit der Oracle VirtualBox arbeitet dann werdet Ihr auch dort feststellen, dass virtuelle Maschinen nicht mehr starten und stattdessen krude Fehlercodes ausgegeben werden.

Yep. I wasted my whole evening by guessing that my whole system could be broke. After 4 hours I found out that the freaking Avira protection is causing my system to go to hell. It seems as if the Oracle Virtual Box encounters similar issues. Ißm not able to start any virtual machine.

I´ve got the same Issue. The only thing that changed on my System was Avira Antivir. There was an update today. Afterwards my virtual box wasnt running at it should. Now I tried to start SWTOR and: Bluescreen!
