  1. Sorcerer/Sage The others are all valid choices, but if you want the healer who is currently the "best" the above is the way to go. Also, neither your Sorc nor your Sage are very far along in their story (level 15/20 you are only about halfway throough Chapter one) so there will not be too much content that will be repeated. But I also want to point out, that even though classes like mercenary and commando are mirrored when it comes to abilities, they are in no way even close when it comes to story! The way I read your post you seem to be under that impression so maybe you should consider that. So if you enjoyed the mechanics of your Commando, a Mercenary might not be a bad choice. But, if you want a fresh start, IA operative or Scoundrel is ofcourse your best choice since you havent even touched any of them so far!
  2. Cancelled today. Had a fun journey, played a great single player game and had some laughs in grouping. Will forever cherish the feeling when I saw my ship the first time, or when Vette thought she was gonna die and just wish she had spent more time with me (bless her heart). All in all, it was fun while it still felt like Star Wars, but at the end of the day its just not that different than any other MMO out there. The genre just havent evolved much since the turn of the century. RTS will be RTS and FPS will be FPS so I guess MMOs will be MMOs. Maybe im just getting old and grumpy. May the Force be with you all!

  4. Trolls will be trolls. You are NOT alone, the Agent storyline is really bad and as someone mentioned in another thread they give you the "illusion of choice", which appearantly have fooled alot of Agent fanbois into believing this is some "über story with tha epixx twist liek James Bond". It is heavily scripted and no matter how you choose the outcome will be the same, which is why I personally enjoyed a more simple story like the SW or BH that focused on characters instead. However, I really enjoy the game mechanics of the class and now that I finally am level 50 and can just play the game instead I will be sticking to my Operative for a long time!
  5. +1 I choose the "freedom"-ending and cast away all basicly told everyone to **** off. If they wanted me they would have to give me respect and money. But lo and behold, NPCs still call me "agent" and Darths still think they can give me orders!
  6. - My pals went empire. Too bad really, cause playing an alt Smuggler at lvl 20-ish now it is just so much more fun. Story, companions, ship, EVERYTHING feels more alive than the stiff-arsed boring-nancy Agent.
  7. Well I gritted my teeth and bored myself through 1-50 on my Agent despite hating almost every second of it. That is because I like the animations of the character. I wanted to play a healer but easymode Sorcerer was out of the question and the Merc is REALLY cool with the armor and the guns and the cool story and companions, but in the end when you hit 50 and all the story quests are behind you and you companions gather dust on your ship because all you are doing is standing on Fleet spamming LFG, then all you have left to be happy about is what your character looks like. Spamming injections with toxic green content, bossing around cool-looking mini-drones and stabbing people in the back/chest with a huge knif AND leaving it is just cool enough to live through 50 levels of boredom.
  8. To "become the OP killing machine everyone is QQing about" you need to go to a private server and play an older patch
  9. I levelled all the way as heal-specc. Worked just fine ESPECIALLY after getting Scorpio. Sneak around, sleep, stab, stun, blast, bomb and HoT Scorpio with TA for the free heal. While running to the next pack Scorpio is back to full health from all the HoTs. I never really felt I was a "healer" when soloing, except on bosses where I sometimes had to go all out healing. But I am pretty sure that any DPS specc no matter the class is better off going with the healing-companion.
  10. Apparantly you are new to forum-useage as well, but we will help you! At the top of the Imperial Agent forum list there is a Sticky called: Imperial Agent - Guides, useful threads and links I suggest reading through a few of the threads in there as they are very helpful!
  11. Actually, given the quality of the story, I feel like Spy kidz 3D
  12. From my point of view (lvl 50 IA, 50 SW, levelling a BH atm), you have nothing to gain from rolling an Agent. You can choose to be melee which is seriously gimped at the moment. Or you could go healing or ranged dps, both of which your Sorcerer will do better (bringing more utility into PvE/PvP situations). Also, you have nothing to gain from the story, since its lame with boring companions. Both the Bountyhunter and the Warrior story are much better off there. People will disagree, but these are my 2 cents.
  13. No, as soon as youre done with the questline he becomes your permanent companion. If you recall even Kaliyo was listed as your "guest" when you first recieved her.
  14. General chat: -Looking for Healer HM BP! Me: -I can come, operative medicine Random douche: -lol nvm, need a GOOD healer Got to love playing a class so hated im not welcome in groups anymore
