  1. I agree with this post. An I5 is probably a min for running full out. I am running an AMD T1100 overclocked to 3.9ghz and an Nvidia 590 and full is probably hard enough for that. I get 100 FPS on planets... but with on the fleet it drops especially now with the character transfers. Darn Nintendo effect! =P~ Water cooling is ALWAYS best! I have the EVGA Hydro Copper2 on my system, and an External pump and Rad by Koolance, along with an additional Rad with 2 120 MM fans, and it STILL runs warm during hours of gaming. Although I am on the third floor of my house, and the AC doesn't cool it great anyways. LOL
  2. Well, I know I gave up on it for a few days... I would play in a team, and when it happened we went and did other missions, then I went back to it, and still did the same thing. Currently I am downloading and installing the game again. We'll have to see if that fixes the issue. I did send the msinfo32 to tech support, alone with the DXdiag, and the crash/dump files <sigh> Still nothing back besides an email saying "Let us know if the re-install fixes the issue" LOL
  3. yeah, pretty much the same here. I keep getting asked to send logs, files and explain when the crash happens.... over and over... same thing. <sigh> Pretty much next step after I send them my next set of files, I am uninstalling. Deleting all SWTOR references in the registry, any folders SWTOR related, and then reinstalling to see if that will fix it. I just hate the idea of the HUGE download again. <sigh> Another reason I think the article on MaxiumPC about EA wanting to go 100% digital is a bad idea... they can't write programs right to begin with. Whith all the patches, if you have to install anything, it's pretty much hours of download to reinstall.
  4. Has anyone else been able to do this mission? I keep selecting the ship to travel to it, and the game crashes to desktop.
  5. This is still an issue. I was waiting yesterday for the balloon, and when it was probably 3 min from the jump on point <poof> gone! Waited for nothing. Same thing happened to another guy I play with. He said the exact same thing happened today, the day after it happened to me. Both tried this on the ShiCho server.
  6. Checking in for the gays on the Shi-Cho server!! WOOT WOOT!
  7. I would highly suggest going with the 2gb model. It's always best to get more memory on the card.
  8. I am really looking forward to some kind of PVP Space combat. They should look into the same type of setup like Atari did for the Star Trek Online system.... but if Bioware doesn't do something with the PVP, it will get boring with only the three different maps.
  9. AMD T1100 - 6 Core overclocked to 3.9 Ghz 16 GB GSkill DDR3 1800 Ram <Yes I feel it is useful> Nvidia GTX 580 Hydro 2 Copper Overclocked a little bit. ;-) A Thermaltake Bigwater 760I and Koolance EXT440 mix liquid cooling system. 4 TB of local hard drive storage 6 TB of network Storage 120 GB Agilty 3 SSD drive <OS only> Logitech G930 wireless headset - Recent purchase Logitech 5.1 sound system <Not sure of the model off the top of my head> Razer keyboard and mouse. Pics are BEFORE I added in the Koolance external cooling unit. The bigwater was the only cooling, at the time of the pics, but with the video card added..... something more was needed. http://s16.photobucket.com/albums/b13/freakboi_pa/?action=view&current=100_0126.jpg http://s16.photobucket.com/albums/b13/freakboi_pa/?action=view&current=100_0126.jpg#!oZZ4QQcurrentZZhttp%3A%2F%2Fs16.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fb13%2Ffreakboi_pa%2F%3Faction%3Dview%26current%3D100_0125.jpg
  10. I think I would go with the 2gb model personally. Although.... I say save a little more and try to pick up a 570 or 580 model. I am VERY pleased with my EVGA 580 Hydro Copper 2 with 3gb of ram on it.
