  1. I'd like to see a wz that spawns at an arena in just an open arena gladiator style on any random planet. These kills could count toward PvP planetary achievements for those on PvE servers in addition to the normal valor, xp, daily/weekly and credit awards.
  2. I just wanted to keep this thread going. I'm still frustrated that there is no viable way (without a workaround like character transfer or kill trading) to obtain 100% planetary achievement on our PVE server. Thank you
  3. This would be my second choice although I would still like to someday reach "all green" in the legacy achievement tab. If they would even link server achievements then this wouldn't be much of an issue. I could simply roll a toon on a pvp server and go to town.
  4. /agree SWG had a rewards system too and I think it's a great idea to have something to recognize long term customers.
  5. Thank you for the replies and support. I had the afterthought that maybe the pve requirements on the pvp servers could be reduced to "make things fair" but I doubt anyone really cares that's going for 100% achievement anyway. I had also considered kill swapping with friendly guilds but that seems pretty low on the fun meter. I would really just like to see the open world pvp requirement removed from the pve servers.
  6. I don't mean the warzone achievements; but, for example, the "kill 1000 enemy players on Hoth" is an unreasonable achievement for a PVE server. There are just not that many flagged players running around to try to spar with (hence the choice of a PVE server). Again, please remove this for us poor OCD achiever types. Thanks for the consideration
  7. Thank you for the post. I also appreciate the interrupt ability but what burned me the most is the 10m cyro grenade nerf. Like we would be too powerful with an interrupt that they had to scale us down a bit. I almost go into a rage when my bulky armored body can be grappled 30 meters against gravity into a fire pit, but I can't throw a one pound grenade the same distance. Ahhh, I guess the laws of physics never did apply to Star Wars anyway. Long story short (too late) I do really appreciate your post and thought is was well said.
  8. You're right about that, played some last night and saw we had two instances on the Republic Fleet with about 250. Must have just been a slow night on Thursday. Just hope we can keep these numbers up but still really ticked at BW with how they've handled the forced name change situation.
  9. LOL! Happy for you about improvements on your side and you're a funny dude.
  10. For those of you that have had improvements with the server merge, I'm truly happy for you. I just think overall this is a brilliant game but a game that has been mismanaged. I don't know why they went about it the surprise and sorry about your luck way versus offering incentives for players to change their name if there was a conflict. As far as the comments about this as a business decision in the interest of Bioware, I'm certainly no expert, but the little I do know is it is easier and more cost effective to keep an existing customer than to try to get a new one. It seems to me that EA/Bioware have chose the latter.
  11. Always glad for improvements, but for me it's one small step forward after 50 steps backwards when you destroyed the identity of players by creating shared legacy names and forced name changes from the server mergers.
  12. Appreciate the responses although I don't feel any better lol.
  13. I can't imagine how hard it must be to pretend to be kind to their loyal fans and customers, but has EA/Bioware ever considered offering a significant credit / new gear bonus box for players who volunteer to change their name when a conflict exists? Just a thought...
  14. I may be missing something but aside from having to change five of my character names, I don't see anything different on the Shadowlands server. Population is still listed as heavy but the only republic fleet instance is listing about 240 online, about the same as it was before the merger give or take 20. Que times are the same for wz and flashpoint pops so as the title states I'm wondering what the server merge accomplished other than ticking a bunch of loyal fans off?
  15. I thought the original idea behind the Lagacy Name was great. It allowed a unique story to be told like that of the original Star Wars characters. Now....meh - whatever Bioware, you're a shadow of the once great game designers / story tellers you once were.
