It seems to me they are going the "Free-to-try" route by all the restrictions they are imposing its really just a trial that goes to lvl 50 it has pretty much all the restrictions the free trial does and a few extra ones for max level (no raiding, limited dailies, flashpoints and warzones etc.) as long as the cash shop doesn't include stat boosters or retarded xp boosters or valor boosts, especially any gear that isn't empty. If they start selling mods in the cash shop or something along those lines its gonna be a sad day for tor fans.

Freedom of speech man, there are always going to be people who annoy you or chat incessantly about things that are mundane or pointless to you, but it is their right to do so, if they are spamming the same message repeatedly or using foul or abusive language then report them, for everything else....it is an MMO its always gonna happen people want attention, the more you give them the longer they will continue to do these things. And to be completely honest if your spending that much time watching general chat your doing it wrong, /pvp for rwz/wz /3 for trade why would one even need general chat? guild spam? noobs that haven't realized that group finder > spamming for groups?

With instanced zones, what does it matter as long as they manage the pop cap properly so people can log on in a timely manner what does it matter if there is 1 instance of the fleet or 10?

Since weapons are the Only source of tech power from items that is why all ranged weapons have it, other items will have power or another secondary stat. Since these eapons all carry Tech power (or in the case for force users force power) it doesn't even take up a stat slot and you can still have crit, surge and alacrity on them.

Most end up dropping it for slicing, you could keep it and try to farm Radioactive pastes they sell on the GTN alright but recently they seem to have dropped in price, you could save them for implants if you have the recipes (drop of trash and bosses in operations).
