But you can get basically an entire PvE set for free by spending 30 minutes doing oricon (and you can buy slots you didn't get for like 40k each, and you'll probably have the 85 basic comms for a weapon), so why is it so wrong that you can have half or so of an intro tier pvp set? You put more pvp effort into getting the set while leveling than you do getting the oricon set. Edit: I see you might be bothered that you could get ranked warzone gear pre-55, while I wouldn't mind that, they could easily keep that portion disabled. It's mostly just about not having to waste comms pre-55 just because you hit the cap and have nothing worthwhile to purchase with them.

Yeah I know theres all these weird gimmicky ways, but I just don't see why they can't just allow it. Especially when there are gimmicky ways to do it.

I know this, but that doesn't change the fact that it would really helpful on alts to have some more pieces by time you are 55. I leveled one of my alts recently, and I went from 51-53 and capped my comms completely just from that. I could easily get another few pieces before I hit 55 at that rate. It's not about how important the pvp gear itself is, as much as it is a convenience that has no reason to NOT exist.

Can this be a thing Bioware? Allow anyone to purchase the Obroan gear, as long as they have the comms to purchase it. The gear has a level 55 requirement, so they wouldn't be able to wear it anyways. Plus, it allows you to level through pvp and not feel like you are wasting comms/time. (or forcing you to convert them to ranked comms.) Note; I know about the level 20 and 40 pvp sets, but there is basically nothing to purchase with them above 40, thus once you cap, you must convert to ranked comms, buy consumables to sell or use, waste your comms, or just not pvp. I'd love to be able to work on my pvp set as I level, and I bet plenty of other people would as well. I see very little reasons against it, if any. Although if you know of any, feel free to post them. Just don't flame anyone in the thread for having a differing opinion.

I would love to see the Tionese/Columni/Rakata armour sets return, they were by far my favorite sets. Either through the cartel market, or adaptive shells on classic vendors. It would be even more awesome if you made them cross faction, as I'm empire due to my friends, but I love the republic ones too. (I would 100% wear the consular tank set on my sorc, just imagine that set in black/red...)
