  1. Master BH/Pistoleer from Eclipse here. Pre-CU SWG was the greatest game ever made, and I always end up being very critical of MMOs because none of them provide the same player driven culture.
  2. That's for the actual release code you get with your copy of the game on the 20th.
  3. You should have sacrificed a whole panda, and three llamas, but you had to do it between 2 and 3 am in a church.
  4. I actually had to re-read the horrible grammar to get that line, lol. Nice one.
  5. November 18th pre-order here. Patiently waiting my turn. I'm actually kind of glad they are doing it this way... I won't have to fight 50,000 people to talk to the quest givers at the start of the game, or to kill a certain amount of a certain type of enemy, lol.
  6. Anyone who has ever had a job, owned a business, or dealt with humans, knows this is not true. Sometimes the customer is just too stupid to understand what's going on, or too immature to accept the truth. If my policies earn me 300 customers, and lose me one... I'll take the loss, and that one customer gets to be wrong. "The customer is always right" does not refer to every single customer, it refers to all customers in general. If you get 10 reviews, and only 3 are positive, then you are wrong. If 7 are positive, you are right. It's not a "rule," it's a way of thinking. Go open a bank account and tell them they have to deposit $200 into it for free or you'll move to another bank. I bet they say "You're welcome to do that." If they just gave money away to any "customer" who asked, they wouldn't have any money to give loans and they'd be out of business. The customer who asks for $200 for free is wrong. The one who ask for a $200 loan and agree to pay it back is right.
  7. Cool, I look forward to buying all of it Thanks for sharing.
  8. 1) If all you care about is being the first one done, why spend $60 on a game that has been in beta for a very long time? Why spend the money on a game which you KNEW would have this kind of early-access roll-out? Why not go play Minecraft and be the first to build an enlarged model of your rectum? You could be first at that! The bonus with the last option is that Minecraft also happens to be quite a lot of fun. Every single beta tester is going to have a leg up on you, because they will know how to power through the start and get to the meat of the game as quickly as possible. they did this many times through the process, and will treat launch no differently. So even if you started today, there will be testers who start on launch day that will pass you up fairly quickly. 2) Your argument is flawed... The game hasn't released yet. Think of this time period as a final beta-test with the bonus of keeping your character(s) after launch. You are making yourself look like a 3 year old crying about not getting in yet. Grow up. 3) This is perhaps your only valid point. That said, I still feel that when there are millions of people playing (rather than the thousands playing now) most of these "headstarters" will get absolutely destroyed by the ones who actually think about how they play... The grown-ups will still beat you even if you have a thousand day head start. 4) What PvE race? MMOs are so much more fun with other people to play with. Everyone is going to help their friends get up to their level quickly anyway, so this will balance out at a rate that would make even your mother say it was a quickie. 5) You listed two 4's. You can't even count properly, how can you expect people to believe that you are some kind of authority on game release tactics? In any case, if they had let everyone in at once, the exploit would have been even more widely used, and created an even bigger problem. Sounds like this launch plan already worked. 6, Or your 5) I came from SWG, THAT'S a dead world. Nobody is in yet because THE GAME ISN'T RELEASED YET!!!! There will be millions more joining you over the next 6 days. As for the little skit at the bottom of your post: I hope people like that do stay out of the game, I don't like babies. You knew what was going to happen. You know what the official release date is. You are whining about EARLY access, not access. If you can't get in on the 20th, then start cryin', until then S T F U! Go grab your security blanket and ask your mom to make you some hot chocolate so you can calm down.
