    At the moment I only see the option to move raid/operation group health bars around.

    The game is live for early access. The character you have in beta no longer exists because it was for testing purposes. If you have access to the game currently, then that character will be permanent. As for your previous one, it will not be recovered.

    Are you sure it's the pre order code, or production registration code -step 3-? If it's production registration code, then that's the game serial key you enter in when swtor is launched.

    The product registration code is for when you enter in your game serial key. If you says that you're already registered, then you're set for EGA.

    You generally want to be that level, or close to it. As long as you just follow the quest chains and not skip anything, besides some heroics, you'll be fine. For me I got up to lvl 40 and it seems linear and easy to keep with.

    I'm not sure if there's a list but what you have down so far seems accurate. To add it can change your facial look, ie more dark choices more evil your faces gets. Also type of gear you can get. Light and Dark gear seem equal in stats however just different in looks.

    As far as if you might have any lag issues, I think you'll be okay. However depending on what time you wish to do game events such as raids and what not that could be dependent on what server you choose.
