What class are you? Also with the surge nerf I think someone did some math and overall power may be the key winner. Also it'd be easier to mod towards power too. Endurance isn't too important if you're looking at PvE since the rakata/columi gear you get should be enough for you. Defense is a tanking stat for PvE. Accuracy I believe is if you get +10 you should be good. However it depends on what class you are because I don't think Sorc/Sage dps need accuracy.

I think it adds, not multiply. Use: Increases Expertise BY 15% for 25 seconds. Only usable in Player versus Player environments. (Cooldown: 3 minutes)

You should be able to abandon them. However if they're class quest I don't think you can ever do that. Some bonus series are still being worked on to be able to be abandoned.

Is there a reason why you would choose to set up a TS server yourself vs a professional site, aside from cost? Also what internet connection do you have? I remember awhile back hosting my own voice chat server was a pain because my internet was mediocre and lagged when 5+ people were on. Also whenever I downloaded or uploaded stuff it lagged as well. Just wanted to bring this up to see if you weighed the pros and cons. Also for port forwarding, if you've ever done any port forwarding before, ie torrents opening it up from xxxx-xxxx it sounds like it's the same idea. You just have to connect to your router ie a dlink is 192.168.0.1 and enter the login. If you've never done this before look up for the default admin login and password. If someone else set up the router and made the password different you'll have to ask them for what the password to login is. Once you're in you just have to go to the port forwarding tab, and enter in the numbers.

My computer specs are 8GB Ram DDR2 5870 Radeon 1GB Vid Card Win 7 64 Bit 2x X5365 @ 3.00GHz I only tried it for warzones and nothing happened. I personally found a great FPS increase when I installed direct x 9. Simply because you're actually seeing graphics that were meant to be there in the first place. Direct x 10 and 11 don't have some assets that are needed to see it. In example, the sorc knockback ability that movement impairs you have a graphic look where it seems your feet are purple magnetize to the ground. I started seeing this effect after installing direct x 9. If you haven't installed this yet I strongly recommend you do. Again let me say this, I didn't not try this method for Ilum(No one was on at the times I tried it). Only tried in warzones and I haven't seen any changes.

There are three swtor cinematic movies. The one where there are 2 Sith Lords fighting against Jedi's is where the war begins. That is them retaking Korriban. The second I believe is the Sacking of Coruscant. That's where the Sith wanted to have 'peace'. But really just ambushed the Jedi's and used Coruscant as a bargaining chip. The third is the battle for Alderaan. I'm not sure where it goes in the timeline but that's what happens. Seeing as how Malgus's face is I'm assuming this is the last one. Note: You do learn about these event's in your codex.

Hey guys that are having the lag issues with super computers. First off is your graphics card up to date? Second off do you have DIRECTX 9? Most new graphics card use 10/11 however because the game engine is the hero engine some elements of 9 are used. However 10+11 directx don't have those assets. My computer spec is 8GB DDR2 ram, cpu intel x5365 @3gz, and radeon 5800 series gpu and I run the game on high graphics just fine AFTER I downloaded directx 9. - Quick note to mention when I'm only running swtor + ventrilo my cpu usage is around 40-60% and ram has been 4-6gb.

Hey EverDawn! Hope you're enjoying the game as much as I am. I'm not an expert but I'll try to give you answers from what I've seen so far. The highest mods you can make via cybertech and artifice so far are 22. However I've noticed you actually don't get all the recipe for each crew skill. By that I mean there are other combinations of stats. For tier 1 the mod number is 23 that = 51. Tier 2, 24 = 56 Tier 3, 25 = 58 If I'm wrong someone please correct me but that's what I've seen so far.

You should be able to run the game, however first make sure your current graphics card software is up to date. The second is make sure you have directx 11 AND 9. Because they're using the hero engine there are assets from directx 9 that are needed for the game, and for some odd reason 11 an 10 don't carry it. So breaking it down: Latest Drives for hardware Directx 11 Directx 9 Hope this helps. Side note I think your cpu is only 2 cores. I believe it's been posted somewhere that bioware coding was bad for any computer with less that 4 cores. That should be fixed in the near future.

You don't level through raids. Also it's better to level up going through your class story alongside doing planet side quests. Doing flashpoints of the planets level your on helps you gear accordingly as well as getting your commendations for that planet. You turn in commendations for more gear. To get groups it's generally best to go to your factions fleet and use general chat to lfg. There is no looking for group queue. Your first flashpoint should be around level 10. If you're republic it's esseles, imperial it's black talon. The first flashpoint is 2man, every other one is 4 man recommended.

No there is no way for you to go to the Republic starting area. Does the balloon drop you off? I know it does that because of the loading screen. If that's happening next week wait for the patch that should fix it. If you're still having trouble find a sniper friend. A sniper can use their cover knock back ability to shoot you up enough to get it without having to use the balloon.

At level 10 you should've been able to. If you're still current on your class quest go back to the republic fleet. There should be a person in front of the elevator of the tython/orb mantell docking station. He'll give you a quest. If you can't find him just circle the outter republic fleet area until you find a quest giver.

You should be able to play perfectly fine. Just remember to have the latest directx and also make sure you have directx 9. Apparently 10 and 11 are missing assets for 9. I can confirm after downloading 9 it was like day and night for graphics.

BW made a post about this awhile back saying that they would like to bring it back eventually. it wasn't able to make it in live because of some bug issues or what not. I believe it was one of their "community blog" posts.

If you're still having issues what you should try is leaving all phase instances, then restart the quest if you can. I had an issue similar to this during beta and I left instance reset mission and instance phase and I was able to do it again. It was pretty annoying but it ended up working for me.

Currently I haven't seen perks, but there maybe in future content patches or expansions. However for awhile I did receive "personalized" emails from Make with gifts. It stopped after about the 5th one or so. I haven't gotten any since and I've been with her since the first day of live. (Maxed level during EGA).

If you replaced it then the color would change. You can take it out but it'll cost money. There's also an option to buy another one too at your factions fleet location.

As far as I've noticed, no there isn't a way yet.

You get an option where you open their skill bar. You can set up which abilities they're allowed to use. So far to me it's been very helpful to set up my companion either as a healer, or dps. However there's still some work to be done on it. I've noticed every time I re-summone my companion whether that be because s/he were dismissed or going off a flight path I had to reset it. -Hope this helps you!

I can kind've see a work around where you just start the quest without them. However that would me you'll miss social points, and potentially be put on a different quest depending on circumstance. For the flashpoint you're pretty much screwed, however they're repeatable at least.

Last I checked they're on the same zone as where you picked up your advance specialization. I would check the quarters around that trainer area. Hope this helps!
