  1. Joined an arena match when I queued up today, only we didn't stand a chance, why? Outnumbered by one man. The teams need to be balanced for arenas otherwise it's totally unfair and there's no point in trying. So do one of the following: 1) Postpone/Reset a round if a player leaves one team until somebody else joins again. (I joined in the middle of the first round, and came in from the loading screen dead.) 2) Force a player (by random draw) to sit out the fight from the team that has too many people. 3) Arena teams need to be balanced in terms of composition. So if your group gets made up of say 3 dps and a healer, the other team needs to have the same build: 3 dps and a healer, not 4 dps, or 2 dps and 2 tanks, etc.
  2. lol well unfortunately the RNG gods will plague mere mortals such as ourselves so long as MMO's exist. That being said, I do hope this post gets taken seriously because this would be one less RNG headache to worry about. XD
  3. Personally what pisses me off more than anything is how people vote on MVP's in warzones. Typically it's just the guy with the most kills gets everybody's votes, while somebody else who did twice as much in terms of objectives to win the match gets snubbed. This is why I always vote based on who got the most objective points.
  4. I personally try to be more choosy about what I collect and what I don't based off of the fact that yes, we are indeed so limited by our cargo hold space. I might be inclined to spend more cartel coins on cartel packs and armor sets if I knew space wouldn't be an issue.
  5. You're clearly not pvping as much as you claim to, number one. And if you were? You must REALLY suck and be losing constantly.
  6. This would be helpful also for say you start an alt, and let it go for a while, then when you come back you might forget who some of the NPC's are, what they've said/done, what they want from you, etc.
  7. /sign Also, the ability to /ignore a player's legacy so they can't harass you on alts, or you don't get grouped with them on any of their other toons, ever.
  8. I realize that as a game developer you guys have to keep things fresh and one of the ways you do that is coming up with new gear, namely weapons, but why in the world don't hardly any of the blasters or lightsabers in this game, particularly at high end, incorporate the classic sounds of things like blasters, lightsabers, etc. that we instantly recognize from the movies? On top of that, I realize you guys have your own music for the game but again, incorporating the music from the films just as much would make it so much more fun.
  9. They're not screwing with the players, you just are clearly doing the bare minimum amount of pvp i.e. dailies and weeklies and expect it to be enough. If you really wanted the gear you'd bust your *** and pvp a lot more to get it.
  10. This is something I've posted numerous times before, and I'll post it again now. Crew skill missions need a little work. The single-most irritating thing about trying to send your crew out on assignments is when you need specific things, (Companion gifts, underworld metals, gemstones, etc.) but the list doesn't bring up what you need. So here goes: 1) Filter out lower yield missions (i.e. moderate, abundant) entirely for higher yield missions (bountiful, rich) because honestly, who is going to bother with the lower yield missions once the larger ones are unlocked? 2) A refresh button for the list so that if what you need doesn't come up, you hit the button, it brings up more options until you can find what you need. And for those of you who think this will make things too easy, just stop now. You can already do this it just requires you to go through a loading screen via something like stepping on/off your starship to refresh the list or logging in and out repeatedly. The only thing that would change is removing the need to go through the loading screen thing over and over and over and over. And trust me, there are times when you will do it over and over and over and over because the RNG for the list just utterly refuses to bring up the mission(s) you need. or.... 3) Instead of having only five randomly generated missions on the list, just have all available missions for a given level on the list and remove the RNG system entirely. This is just one of those little things that would go a long way to making the crew skill system less irritating and more productive. Just to be able to open it up, find what you need quickly, send out your crew, and get on with the important things you need to work on.
  11. Don't get me wrong, I love the Voidstar. It's one of my favorite warzones. But one of the rather disappointing things about it is the fact that, well, in alot of games you don't get past but the first few doors. Maybe. I would suggest adding a secondary play style mode (which can be toggled on/off from the warzone menu) in which round one does not end until the attackers reach the end. Once they do, that's the time to beat in round two for the other team. Yes, it would make the game longer but I just think it should be there as an option is all.
  12. One of the single-most annoying things about fighting these two is when you shoot at one (in my case I'm a merc) and they turn invisible before the rocket/laser hits them (even though the shot has already left the barrel, mind you) and it does nothing. It doesn't connect, it doesn't do damage, it doesn't break their stealth. This needs fixing imo so that if somebody has shot at them, but the shot hasn't connected, they go invis, then the shot connects, it breaks it.
  13. I was gone from the game for four months. I come back and space missions, which I used to kick *** at and walk over them, all of a sudden are proving impossible. It seems like my guns aren't doing hardly any damage at all. Is this happening with anybody else? Is it a commonly-known problem or is it just me?
  14. Haven't found a good resource guide on her, what companion gifts does she like?
  15. There are just a few tweaks to this new feature which I think would be of marked improvement: 1) I noticed that certain items, like say the speeders, are now available for purchase there if you already have them on one of your toons. I like this idea, however you have it set up so that you can buy it with cartel coins for "all" of your characters, not just individual ones. This should be changed. I'd like the throne speeders for my Sith Marauder alt, but my gunslinger really would just look silly in them, for example. 2) Put other items (speeders, pets, etc.) that are not from the cartel market but may not be available in the game, or expensive/difficult to obtain (for example raklings from the rakghoul outbreak event) that aren't in the cartel market in the collection so that you can have them on other characters whom you may simply not have been playing at the time of the event because they're alts or you didn't make them yet.
  16. Powertechs need rifles. They look silly with a tiny little pop gun as their "only" weapon choice.
  17. /sign I would argue that a species change "might" warrant the cost of cartel coins. But getting a haircut and being charged CC's is ridiculous. Credits for everything else.
  18. Yes they never said cathar would be released with the expansion, so that is a failure to actually read up on your part. Though it is a rather greedy decision to charge subs who already pay a monthly subscription additional fees in the form of cartel coins.
  19. Again, I will point out the following: A) Other MMO's don't charge you like this for a character re-customization after you've made them and, B) The logic of making them the way you wanted when you first made them is rendered void by the fact that there are new appearance options available in the game. Of course I'm also upset as a sub that they charge you for the new customizations and also the cathar with cartel coins, rather than unlocking them automatically since they already get a monthly fee out of me, but that's an entirely different topic.
  20. Yes because people shouldn't have the right to change their mind and NOT be ripped off for doing so. Also, your logic is flawed you idiot because maybe they added some new character design features, oh wait! They did! that players might want to use. Cartel Coins already cost enough whether you buy them directly or you get them as a sub that they shouldn't be nickeling and diming players in this manner.
  21. Seriously? EVERYTHING costs cartel coins?! Granted extreme things like the species change "should" cost cartel coins, but you're charging them if you want to give your character a friggin' haircut ffs. Even companies like Blizzard aren't "that" greedy, they just charge you in-game currency! Change the system so that you can change your appearance for credits only, but charge cartel coins for the species change like "other" MMO's, Bioware. Stop letting big brother EA dictate your decisions!
  22. An item that would be a good idea to sell would be something like a construction kit for speeders and a replicator for pets so that, say on my bounty hunter I have one of the thrones, and then I make a Sith alt and I want that toon to have the throne as well? Instead of hoping and praying that I get one from the pack, or shelling out HUGE amounts of credits on the GTN, these kits would allow players to make legacy-bound copies of speeders or pets they already have to send them to other characters. This would also be helpful for pets/speeders that are no longer found in the game, not just the expensive cartel market items.
  23. Set it up as follows: Three buttons. Need Need (for companion) Greed Need should only be lit up if you are the class that can use it (say for example in a group of four there's one sith warrior/jedi knight, and a weapon/armor piece with strength drops) Need (for companion) and Greed operate below the level of Need, but the companion need button would trump a greed roll. This wouldn't fix the problem once and for all but I think it would be a step in the right direction.
