  1. We're not talking about ease of play. We're talking about improvements to the class that have already been seen in this classes, shall you say, "Spiritual Liege" as it were. Problems with other "warrior" classes have been solved. This new MMO brought us onboard with the "old" problems that had been resolved and moved past. Also, this is a thread to get us away from being so samey-samey from the previous "warrior" entry into the MMO market, and try to really become it's own thing. This of course means changes, and improvements. Also it means relinquishing archaic class designs and abilities. You may be able to play it easy (and lets be honest, it's a VERY familiar class), but if you honestly see no room for improvement, you have a narrow grasp of of the design flaws apparent in the class. Flaws. Not features.
  2. Any particular reason "why" you want archaic class design in a cutting edge MMO? Or prevalent problems that were already improved upon and fixed in other MMO's to go back to square one? Seriously, it's like you're saying "Guys, using a hammer to put in nails is EZ mode. Lets Keep using a wrench to pound in the nails, it takes more skillz" Seriously?
  3. I know, seems like a simple idea. it would have to auto-hit the 2 other targets though, so it doesn't leave you sitting there forever without your saber.
  4. Post ideas in this thread for how to improve the condition of the Juggernaught Tanking spec. General/All purpose thread. 1. Reduce Cooldown on Crushing Blow from 15 seconds down to 5-8 seconds, or remove cooldown altogether. Turn it into a rage dump or replacement for our regular sunder armor. 2. Saber throw now hits up to three targets. (Not even gonna skirt around this, make it like Paladin shield throw from WoW for initial pulls.) 3. Move the talent "RUIN" away from the Vengeance tree, and give it to the Immortal tree. (Free Smash) This makes more sense in terms of functionality, and purpose of those specs. Other options would be to make Smash cause a bleed that bakes in more threat. 4. Make pommel strike useable against Elites and Champions. One of our best abilities is useless on top end content and stronger enemies. Needs a change. 5. Reduce Cooldown on Backhand, or bake in more threat. Possible problems that could arise in PvP with a shorter cooldown, but perhaps make it susceptible to diminishing returns in PvP as an easy fix. 6. Using Intercede while targeting a mob protects and interceded that mobs "target" instead of you having to hover over and click your teammates portrait or character model, THEN intercede. (this was a problem with "intercept" when it was first introduced to WoW Warriors, and eventually fixed/made better) Just some ideas I'm kicking around. I used to play a Warrior tank over in WoW (was playing that game since beta) and at this time, Sith Warrior feels VERY familiar, but also has some of the familiar old problems. Currently, It feels like I'm playing a Vanilla Warrior, however, I'm surrounded by "Wrath" style tanks (BH, SA, ect). A few tweaks, and we can probably become an amazingly well done class. Please be constructive with your ideas, and keep from posting dumb things like "Hurr casual fest! the game is only fun if I'm wrestling with the mechanics more than actually being able to do my job effectivley!" Please don't be "one of those" posters.
  5. Let's be honest for a second here. All Tuskan Raiders are *****, and have proven to be always be *****. Every single time they have been depicted in the series, it is usually as hostiles taking pot shots at travelers for fun or for murder/theft like, well, raiders. I say, Kill em all.
  6. See, that's the biggest problem I have with the prequels. In the OT, we were told that Anakin used to be a good man, but made tough, terrible choices that turned him from the light to the dark. But then in the prequels, we see Anakin go from an annoying brat, to a selfish douch3 teen, to an *****hole adult. He pretty much looked like he was a rotten apple from the start. I wanted to see a good man turned to the dark side, and with good reason. Instead I got Twilight with Lightsabers. This is why I hate the prequels.
  7. I will cede you this point. So at the end of the day, he's still an idiot, but with money? That sounds dangerous. And may the Maker have mercy on all Star Wars fan's souls. It's a sad day when I'm actually rooting for my childhood hero to die of a heart attack, lest his crazy infests the rest of the good things he created. (I used to write book reports about this guy back during grade school in the 90s. So it's been like tracking his rise and fall)
  8. I believe the Prophecy of Anakin bringing "Balance" to the force was a bit roundabout. He brought balance to the force, yes, but not the way they had forseen or predicted. First, he culled the overbalanced population of Light Side users down to basically one Jedi Knight (Obi Wan), and one Master (yoda). Give or take stragglers Vader hunted down later. Dark Side was also balanced by only having one Master/Emperor, and one servant. Basically, a 1/1 ratio of prominent Light/Dark Side users. But this was not the end of the prophecies foretelling. For the Dark Side became too powerful, too overt throughout the Galaxy. The Emperor forced the dark sides will across the Galaxy. Balance through the Skywalkers lineage was still to come. Second, Luke was born from Vader, who defeated the dark side, and went on to re-create the jedi temple (and if you allow me to go by Jedi Knight Academy story) thereby bringing balance to the force by allowing people to study both the Dark and the Light side of the force, keeping it equal. So yes, Anakin brought balance to the force, because he ended up giving birth to Luke. The prophecy of bringing balance to the force was fulfilled.
  9. Depends. Do you think the Mona Lisa would benefit from Neon lights around it's borders?
