I havent purchased the upgrades yet or opened my crew skills. I'll wait a day or two before deciding what to do. Maybe by then they'll fix it

Thx for tip, I might do that, although when i first downloaded the game a week ago, i didnt have this problem. Also finally after 32 hrs, the game is downloaded and running

alot of players are facing this problem, lets hope they fix it soon. I do like to do alot of crafting but I'll take ur advise and wait for the fix. atm my crew skills are synthweaving 700/600, was 700/700 archeology downlevel'ed to 600/600 from 700/700 underworld trading downlevel'ed to 600/600 from 700/700

Finally got to installing assets (after leaving my computer on for 25 hrs to download), however the installer got stuck at 62% for about half an hr. I can't seem to cut a break. I looked again through the forums for a fix, they suggested using the repair tool on the launcher. Now its downloading some files again at 500-600 kbps, and judging by the progress bar, it will take several hours too Also, just wanted to add that my swtor folder is currently 66 gb, not sure why. I was under the impression the game is around 25-27 gb. I do hope this repair will fix it and all the downloading would be done by then and it should install and work fine. I really do want to play the game and payed for the subscription (I have about 30 days left of it)

sent an email to support@swtor.com regarding this, hopefully someone will reply with a fix

Hey, thx for replying, Im using a wired conenction (directly plugged into my router). As for DNS settings, i dont think that would be an issue since every other app (steam etc.) downloads at my normal speed of 5mbps, its only the SWTOR launcher that has being the issue

Hello everyone, I was hoping if someone could help me out with this issue. Because of the latest patch that just released, i got some weird problem that when i log into the game i had some quickplay download thing at character creation that was stuck at 0%. I read thru the forums and everyone suggested using a non streaming launcher. basically just edit ur launcher settings and delete bit raider. So i did that, now my game is re downloading but the speeds are so awful! Normally i download at the speed of 5mbps (on steam and other apps) but here, it ranges from 60 kbps to 1.3 mbps, very rarely hitting 2mbps for a second. It tends to stay around 200kbps to 600kbps. At this rate, it'll take days to download 27gb when normally it'd take me an hr or two

I've been facing this problem for almost a week now. I've been hosting several guild pvp tournaments in the contested areas such as Outlaw's Den, We get the message that we are getting flagged for free-for-all pvp, yet we cannot attack each other or are appearing in red (we aren't in a group, we leave the group before entering) It is rather strange that I've faced this problem for this long, despite making 4 tickets and 1 email regarding the matter Is anyone getting this problem as well or am i over looking some vital detail?
