  1. So, after today's pretty terrible update (that banner ikr), it seems that the Onslaught Crew Skill is again, sadly, necessary. Now, we all know the 500,000 cost is ridiculous, especially for subscribers. That's 1.5 MILLION per character. That's at least half of my entire savings wasted on something I've already had for like a month. If you hadn't noticed, a few weeks back suddenly the Onslaught Crew Skill wasn't needed to progress past level 600 and on to 700. You could even learn all of the schematics. I did raise this on Twitter with no response. Well, today it's back to being necessary again. All my 700/700 skills are now 700/600. HOWEVER, not noticing initially I sent my crew on Bioanalysis missions and now my skill has been reverted to 600/600. I just lost 100 levels. I've raised the issue but responses usually take days. I advise you to not send your crew on skill missions just yet if you haven't gotten the Onslaught Crew Skill upgrade until something is done about this. I'm worried that if I do buy it, it'll trigger a revert back to 600 on my other skills anyway. Also, I'm already 700, why not just let those who are over 600 already just have the skill. It was BioWare's error yet we paying subscribers are being punished for it.
  2. Seconded! Furthermore, you can only move it if you have "Movable secondary windows" turned on. I prefer to have this off as a sloppy UI really upsets my OCD. And if you turn it on, move the banner, and then turn it off again the banner moves back to it's original EXTREMELY poor choice of placement. The previous system was unobtrusive. Now we have a giant banner giving us links we already have elsewhere. Honestly, it feels more like a Cartel advertising banner in the middle of my screen. Get rid of it.
  3. Seconded. Or at least greatly reduced. 500,000 per skill, which is 1.5 MILLION credits. It costs enough for the actual skills themselves. This is just punitive. Across all my characters this will cost me around 18 Million. That's around half of my savings, which I'd prefer to spend on my Stronghold or something.
  4. Ok, so I love SWTOR and I play a lot. I've just gotten back on it from a little hiatus but I'm playing it a lot again. Usually I embrace the 'updates' because BW tend to know what they are doing. But these Talent Trees...what was their thinking?! World of Warcraft brought these in a couple years ago and it's a big reason why I left. We don't need our hands holding through these games. The developers seem to think we're a bunch of morons facepalming the keyboard until we get lucky and level. Well, we're not. Most of us are mature players who can easily understand a game such as this. So, considering no one seemed to like this talent tree system when WoW brought it in, BW thought it wise to copy them? I don't understand. Yet another case of changing things for the sake of it for a new expansion. BIOWARE - Things were fine!! New content is great but you don't have to completely reinvent the entire game. We're here, we like it as it is!! Anyone else feel the same outrage?
  5. Yeah I have just completed this as level 37 Shadow - balance. It.was.ridiculous! I used Zenith and my Combat Technique. I could do the mobs but I had to kill the Reavers first. After that the other strongs aren't too bad. The group with the elite was HARD though for me. And it's proper harsh how fast the mobs respawn if you die! There are a few quests in all the storylines that need to be nerfed I think. If a quest is on a planet then you shouldn't have to overlevel yourself to do that quest.
  6. For a start...everyone knows that PvP is broken on Ilum. I can see BioWare doing a no honour for killing recently spawned players thing to be honest. Another thing...IT'S ONLY BEEN OUT FOR A MONTH. Give it a chance people!! This is a NEW game. Stop acting so spoiled by other games that you expect SWTOR to be perfect on release!! There's still work to be done and BioWare knows this. They are working on the problem. PvP on WoW is always broken when they update but it still has 10 million players. I'm sorry but unsubbing because PvP is broken and the game only being out for a month is just...well it's just pathetic I think. I'd like to see you people make a better game and then have it running perfect on release. Now I understand it's annoying...I, myself, like PvP too but I'm just gonna wait patiently for BioWare to fix it. Which they WILL. For now I'll do PvE and level a couple characters...
