Not completely accurate. PAE allows for larger addressable address space, I'll have to see if I can dig up the post that explains it perfectly.
Afaik Windows doesn't allow that, or rather Microsoft doesn't, even though it's possible and the code to do so is already there.

I am running on the lowest settings and still have FPS problems. I know the problem is my RAM not my video card.
I have 32bit Windows 7 & 2gb of RAM right now. I am looking to upgrade to either...
-4gb RAM and still use 32 bit Windows 7 or
-6gb RAM and switch to 64 bit Windows 7 (and yes I checked my system can support 64 bit)
So my question is which should I do? Will I see enough improvement in FPS from the 4gb with 32 bit to the 6gb with 64 bit to spend the time and extra cash?
As someone already said, it's RAM + VRAM + anything else, so if you stay with 32-bit you won't get to use all of those 4GB RAM. So even if you stick with 4GB I would still say go with 64-bit.

I don't have this issue with my logitech. Perhaps because I do not use the setpoint drivers, just the windows drivers (unless I am playing a game that needs the dpi).
This, I avoid the setpoint software like the plague.. it always seems to cause issues, I can bind most buttons just fine without it.

BW always focuses on the Empire as pure bad guys, blood thirsty and murderous killing machines. This is very black/white and not levels of grey.
To me it seems more like black / grey so far.. more like evil / dodgy

I don't really think there's less content. It's just more efficiently placed. The bounty hunter starting planet had 2 or 3 heroic quests compared to tython or ord mandels 1. It also has 3 champion mobs to find compared to alliance sides one on ord and two on tython.
But even if it is less content... do we really care if there's fewer "kill 50 bears and bring me their asses!" types quests? Isn't that a good thing to have less of those?
Considering that in MMOs not every bear have an a ss I have to agree.

Noticed this too, I made a JK for the first time the other day and it took way longer to get out of the starter planet then on my Sith characters.

I guess running a 32-bit OS would mess things up as it would use the same limited address space, if you are not.. no idea.

They said there would be no real world events in-game.
I hope they keep to that regardless, one thing that made it easy for me to quit Rift was the really cheesy event they put in over christmas

Heh, so that's what's happening.. I was a bit confused when I used it and a full sized Twilek walked up to me.. she also made funny noises when klicked on

Do all Imps zone in at their ships when disembarking?
Afaik yes, all Imp classes that I've played do.. that said, my JK and Smuggler also do that.
Something that does annoy me though is that when using the fleet pass Republic chars zone in at the shuttle.. while Imp chars zone in inside the station close to the cantina

"Was WoW actually good at launch?" No, I wouldn't say so.. it was a buggy mess with lag, rollbacks, you were stuck in loting position, etc. The servers were down for days, some classes didn't have skill trees, and it wasn't really "fresh", it was an MMO like many before it.

You can be a bit cheesy and back out of the hut where you can call Vette, then hit "Call On The Force" and go in again, concentrate on the padawan and don't use smash so you bring the other one into the fight right away. When the elite is down back out again and heal up / wait for CDs then go in and finish the other one..

I didn't realize there were spectators... I mean I heard them. But I'm playing the match, never stopped to look.
I had no idea either.. I'll have to look around a bit next time I play

Choke, Push, Backhand, Charge, and the 8 sec CD interrupt skill. No interrupts, huh?

Well this is stupid. Depending on your factions both sides win. Great storytelling.
This.. that is sadly the case

The important thing, if you plan to romance her, is to make sure you make her go darkside when you get to that point in the questline.
Make her kill her former master.

It seems to me that changing Marauders to medium armor at the last minute greatly reduced the feel of the class.
What was the reason for doing that anyway? Seems to have made a mess of things imho, less equip at vendors etc..
-
The Dark side vendor sells a pair (I believe the Light side vendor has the same version, but don't quote me on this) that's called Voidwalker's Boots.
Those are heavy armor, there's really nothing for Marauders at the dark/light vendors
I've more or less lost intrest in my Marauder because most of the time I feel like the red headed step child

Just be glad you don't have to collect something as inanely stupid like Basilisk brains.. where most actually are brainless Damn I hated that kind of quests..

It's like making people always wear a life-jacket instead of them actually learning how to swim.
Indeed, but people are stupid, so it's either try to get them to use an authenticator or deal with having to recover accounts for them all the time. Teaching people how to secure their computers are something I'm sure Bioware don't want to do (nor should they have to)

I guess taking out the option to kill companions left us with stupid things like that..
That said, whats with this "gosh darn" I keep seeing lately? Is it like the polite version of "gosh darn"?
Edit: Nevermind.. didn't realize the silly forum censored it that way

- I disagree, for me it's a milestone.. something to work for when rolling an alt, that drives me on like the speeder at lvl 25.
- We had "autoattack", they removed it and imho the game is the better for it, I doubt it will ever make a comeback.

Listen , I never ever believed in paid "haters" , My first MMO was UO , never ever have I seen the amount of vitriol towards an inanimate object like seen here against this game and BIO/EA .
Theres no question in my mind that there has been a lot money thrown in to destroying the community and discouraging people from playing/re-subbing the game.
call me crazy. (I would have, then I had the misfortune of reading this forums)
Hmm.. Wasn't there someone actually admitting to have done just that on the AoC forums? *runs off to do some research*

But we should listen to "Captain doomsayer", "Mr. hater" and "Dr. Conspiracy"? Seriously in terms of trustworthiness people like that are several steps below "the easter bunny"
Corrected that for you
