It is...but solo queueing RWZ is the EXACT same thing your going to get in normal wzs, a "well this is the fastest way i can gear" so let me try and hit this button here... oh i dont care about my rating... i just need the better gear. half the people wont talk, and 1/3 of them will play it as a team death match.
  2. 4v4 arena, 2 marauders, one darkness sin, and an ops healer... with our defensive cds and resets, let the QQing about FOTM comp begin.

Why dont they just make it so you get Ranked WZ comms from normal queues...thats pretty much what your asking for with ranked solo queue anyway...its going to be the same thing your playing now, except for magical solo rating points instead of the old valor you ground up. all this for some new color armor... lol
  4. Smash, you just saved me a lot of point by point typing, and summed up pretty much how i feel. WH gear still obtainable without having to get high rating, pretty minimal difference between people in bm/WH except people dont want to spend the money to augment their BM. And yea, its not fun beating on pugs for 3 points, the matchmaking def. needs some improvements. You are more than capable of succeeding in RWZs provided you actually get with people who know how to play their class and what their classes role/limitations are. We bring 2-3 sorcs into rateds and can still beat 2-3 pyro teams...we generally say its because they cant figure out which squishy they want to kill first, and by the time they do, their pyros are dead.
  5. Thats funny, we regularly run with a sorc healer, 1-2 Sorc Dps, a Pyro Merc or his concealment OP alt and around half of us should be hitting 2400 tonight. Maybe its not as much as a comp thing as you think? Yes we've been beatin by a 3 PT team, we've beaten them as well. The biggest problem im having with rateds right now is the good games are too few and far between. Even when other high rated teams are queueing (not currently in a game but in queue) well get matched against a lower rated team to smash on for 2 points. Its not fun for us either, most of us have been geared and properly modded long before rateds came out, were doing it for the sole purpose of playing other teams to try and out think and match our opponents. also 2200 for a peice o crap black lawnmower that looks the same as the rank 2 lawnmower... not cool.
  6. Saber throws range is 10m-30m, its got a dead zone inside of 10m.

People are still adjusting to changes, and if you werent queueing rateds than you were prolly facing a group that was eating full ravages (though it happened in rateds a few times as well, lol). that being said hitting 996 power with full augments and double power relics... i hit like a damn truck unless the healer is guarded and getting multiple taunts. gore change was big if for nothing else i feel more freedom to burst with scream rather than trying to crutch on it for ravage for a big burst everytime. and bursting with guarenteed 4-5k scream crits is just nasty. Also first day ive hit a 6.8k final ravage tick on someone. gunna try to find me a squishy with bloodthirst AND an expertise buff tomorrow see if i can break me some 7k and idk if there was a stealth nerf to anni, or if i was just running into more bads, but killing them 1v1 before they get 2 bleeds on me after obfuscate is pretty entertaining. good first day as carnage, and this is the rated spec ill be running with. i think it will be fun.

  9. the extra rage on charge is important imo atleast. Charge, deadly saber en route, BA and youve got enough rage to rupture then anni. for me its a bit cleaner opening on someone. though i pick up ravager in my spec as well. this is what i use when i go anni. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#100bIrRrRzfsZuMZR.1 could float some of the point around for sure, really it comes down to personal pref. for your playstyle. that being said, when i know im getting a good healer... i enjoy carnage. 4.5k final ravage ticks with 4.5k screams leaves no dots to be dispelled by mass healer teams.
