  1. It was made possible to kill him in the beta, however, he was also the SW's only chance at a healer comp. Without him, the class would be made without a healer. As such, Bioware removed the option to keep the player base happy because they were mad decisions actually mattered.
  2. If players want to do that, let them. The point of having a customization ship is to make it your own. If you want toilet holocalls, you should be given the freedom to do so. I doubt most players want to do such a thing but freedom for customization is freedom to build it how you want.
  3. Hey all, I thought of this last night. Would it be possible to create different types of ships you can unlock for your character as strongholds? Think of it like you buy the ship for your toon and then you can place a holoterminal down, customize where your comps go and decorate your ship yourself. I love most of the ships that were originally created, but after almost 9 years, I get tired of some. What do you all think?
  4. Title says it all. As a kid, I loved how once a month Call of Duty had a double xp weekend. With Valor being the closest thing to xp in PvP, I, and others I talked to, think it would be a good idea to have it. People who may want titles like Battlemaster for guild rank progression (a guild I used to be in requires things like Battlemaster to rank up) and a lot of people who may not normally play might end up giving it a shot. This way more people can try PvP out as they have an incentive to do so.
  5. Hi all, I am trying to get an idea for how to best gear IO for pvp. I love the spec and feel as if I am getting pretty good at it. I need help with deciding to go the high crit or the high alacrity build. I wonder if it would be more benefical because, with the periodic intensity amps, my dots would hit super fast and hard. Would it be worth it?
  6. To be honest, I don't think we need one. Most mandalorians have some sort of descriptor to them, be it Mandalor the Avenger, the Vindicated, or that one dude on DK in the BH story was named the carver. I do think we need more the titles. Although, there is a lot already in the game like the fearless or heartless.
  7. Hey all, I currently play on SF but I find the PvP pops to be getting more scarce. Is Satele Shan better for a PvP community? Also, how is the mentality of the player base. I find that players on SF are toxic and aggressive for no reason (people telling others to kill themselves because they messed up minorly or that they got let go because they cant follow stupid orders by someone who doesn't know what they are talking about).
  8. I agree with your statements, but I would be hesitant to up the XP for lowbie and midbie queuing. The reason I love mid tier pvp when im leveling is that it gives me a chance to farm valor (after level 50) before I have to enter the world of unbalanced teams with 2 healers being on the opposite team whilst mine has none. Add overpowered tacticals for the DPS and boom. I can't make the same plays (in terms of strategy and winning 1v1s for nodes in Novare and Alderaan etc) because I don't play the broken classes nor do I have a balanced team. Midtier fixes this discrepancy for me because hardly anyone ques as a healer since we are still leveling most people would be DPS. This reason makes midbie pvp perfect for me to valor farm and before anyone says I must play a level 70 against 42s that is wrong. I have had a blast pvping on my 50 commando as I am trying to get his valor up to at least 70 before hitting 75. So far, it is working out quite nicely. TL;DR - It would be more beneficial to add tech frags to midtier pvp before reworking xp gains because midbie is more balanced imo than 75 due to the skill gap winning more fights than team comp like in 75.
  9. I want to see the Kolto utility from the merc go to PT because we are "melee" and get caught in a lot of aoe spam in PVP. We don't really have any DCDs so this would make it on tier with a jugg (minus reflect). Realistically, we get close and personal in PVP and really should be the class with better DCDs because we have to engage the enemy while Mercs can simply be mobile since they are a ranged class.
  10. Bro, get over it! The freakin' system is unbalanced to begin with and IIum PVP doesn't work as attended anyways. I'm not saying people should do the kill trading stuff, but it is what it is! You can't sit there and tell me that the sith side isn't so overpowered to begin with and then sit there and cry about it because others want to do the kill trading stuff? Dude, cry me a river, build me a build, and get the hell over it!!! Yes, Bioware has a lot to fix when it comes to the PVP system. Yes, it's unbalanced as hell, and yes they did a worse job with the timing of killing the opponent more then once within a short time frame. The game has a lot of stuff that can be improved upon for sure. Give it time people, have a little faith in Bioware. It's still been just a bit over two months now.
