There is nothing wrong with an appearance tab. It's just that the dev's put a lot of work into a modding system, and an appearance tab would render a good chunk of it totally useless.

You clearly do not understand the mod system. Or are too lazy to properly use it.

You do not mod orange gear appearance. You choose an orange gear that FITS the appearance you want, then you mod it so it actually benefits your character and makes it viable. There is no "easy-mode" appearance-tab, and this is a good thing.

I wonder why Bioware would get all his attention/manpower on allowing you to tranfer those characters when you devoted .... oh.... 50 hours AT MOST on them? Come back when they really are needed, i.e. when you have spent 100 DAYS on a character.

1) It was announced 6 days ago. 2) They want to have a real launch at midnight the 20th EST, which is the "real" launching time. 3) Taking the servers for maintenance just after launch would have been a much worse decision. Relax.

Yes you will. Every Black Talon run will give you a bit more than 100 Social points. Last one I ran gave me 129 iirc.

There will be mods that can make your gear on par with end-game gear. The mod system IS working as people describe it here. There was a LOOOOONG post by the devs about it before they wiped the forums. There is NO need for an A-Tab. Everyone just want an "easy-lazy" mode A-Tab. Yes, you need to work harder to get the precise look you desire. If you don't like it, well.... GBTW

I'd rather have a queue for 2 weeks than a lot of empty servers for 5 years and people whinning about server merging.
