  1. I'd like to see a set bonus for Innovative Ordnance that would reduce the heat cost of Unload after using Thermal Detonator, heat management for IO is more difficult than Arsenal and the rotation is quite punishing if you mess up heat management. For a tactical item I think both specs could use a bit of AoE love. Perhaps allowing Thermal Detonator to deal AoE damage for IO and Heatseeker missiles hitting multiple targets (albeit at reduced damage) after hitting them with Death from Above or Sweeping Blasters. On a side note, I find the amount of abilities that Bounty Hunters get that utilize their jetpack animation to be quite lacking, for Mercenaries outside of Death from Above and Jet Boost there isn't much there aesthetically with the bounty hunter jet pack and fulfilling that side of the class fantasy. Tracer Missile used to be cast from the backpack, kind of miss that.
  2. As a huge BioWare (or former now) and Star Wars fan I can't put into words how disappointed I feel. I wanted so hard for this game to succeed but an MMO adopting a F2P model less than a year, ONE YEAR, into its lifespan is just pathetic, and is something I cannot support. The funniest part is that we still have idiots whining in this thread about not having SGRA's in the game... as if 10 minutes of bad dialogue contributes to the longevity of the game instead of worrying about additional Ops, WZ's, class content, etc... You guys can have it. Goodbye BioWare, I'll certainly be hard-pressed to purchase anything from your company again after the epic fail that Mass Effect 3 and SW:TOR are.
  3. A very good point, there should be a notification/error message.
  4. AC switching certainly wouldn't "destroy" the game like some of these doomsayers are preaching, but my concern with it would be people picking the AC that's easier to level up with and then switching at 50.
  5. I don't think I've ran an Explosive Conflict without my sound getting bugged.
  6. This... If your character names are what's keeping you playing the game then you might as well let your sub run out. Yes, it sucks to lose names you've become attached to, I lost some of mine in the transfer, but it's the game content and people around you that should keep you interested.
  7. G15 Logitech, been serving me well for many years
  8. Okay let's not turn this into some same gender debate thread, seen enough of those to last me a lifetime, and then some. While I understand a decent number of players want SS romance implemented (I don't care either way) to me personally it doesn't contribute to the longevity of the game. Most of the current OS romances in the game are mediocre at best and are 10-15 minutes of dialogue at most. It's not what keeps people playing the game, and I'm glad Bioware is focusing on adding additional PvP and PvE content. SS romances are coming with a future patch that expands the class stories. The OP actually brings up relevant points in terms of what was promised to come down the pipe, and here we are over 6 months after launch with some of these features that should've been relatively easy to implement still not being in the game. The "grey" alignment issue could've been easily remedied by restricting how high your light or dark side rank is. An example would be "You must be no higher than Dark III or Light III to equip this item." or something along those lines. It sucks being a Grey player because you're losing out on titles/mounts and some gear while leveling up. You really can't roleplay your character the way you want, unless you planned on going 100% light or dark to begin with.
  9. I guess you haven't seen the ME3 ending then. It's the first day, I know it sucks to be on a low pop server (the one I'm on isn't in dire straights but it's getting there) but you have to give it a bit of time. If at the end of this process your server wasn't on the transfer list then sure, go ahead and complain, but everyone's jumping the gun on this topic.
  10. I don't see how this is a surprise, it was announced that it'd be this way ages ago. Just have patience, most of us are in the same boat in regards to being on a server with a small population and raging doesn't get you anywhere.
  11. Your math is horribly off, and besides, if you're being killed by a Guardian/Juggernaut tank then... don't PvP. Tanks should have strong defensive cooldowns available to them.
  12. Ah, makes sense now. Well, all HoTs are overridden if you cast the same HoT on a player, it's just unfortunate that the way SRMP functions means you have to refresh it before the last tick to keep the 2 stacks up. It'd be nice if the last tick of the hot was at 14 or 15 seconds so you could keep the 2 stacks up permanently. Regardless, Sawbones is actually quite strong right now and it's only a minor annoyance imo.
  13. Vigilance is an absolute blast, I'm having more fun on my Guardian alt than on my Vanguard (SS) main >.>
  14. Basically this. HoT's are reset if recasted before the tick goes off, so try to wait for one tick of SRMP to go off before applying the 2nd stack.
  15. This is correct. Scoundrels (and Operatives as well) have a buff called Upper Hand/Tactical Advantage. Various healing abilities will grant this buff, and it can stack up to 2 or 3 times depending on spec. Scoundrels have a heal called Emergency Medpac (I don't know the Operative equivalent but they are mirror classes so they have all the same abilities granted the same spec), which consumes this Upper Hand buff but does not cost energy to use. If Emergency Medpac is casted on a player who is below 30% health the Upper Hand buff is renewed, hence it can be permanently spammed if a player is constantly below 30% health. Scoundrels can keep themselves up for a lengthy amount of time this way. Hope this clarifies any confusion.
