  2. Dude thank you, I've been wanting to know what ability it was that had that animation!
  3. I'm currently 31 and I can't say that I've gotten a lot more lightsaber moves recently. But I do however feel that I am very lightsaber focus as it is, and personally I like having projekt as one of my main abilities. But if u want more of a pure lightsaber dude, then by all means try a JK, must say though as I played a sith warrior up to 20, the combat feels slower than a shadow, even with dual wield. edit; I checked now, I've gotten the aoe Whirling blow and will get Spinning strike (execute like ability) at 32. http://www.torhead.com/abilities/advclass/601/class/6/level/1-50 <there u can see all the abilities and what level you'll acquire them.
  4. Why do have to label yourself as either? Can't you just be a player with concerns?
  5. OP, you're not a fanboi, you are just a fan. Fanbois are people who will defend what they love with a furious ignorance to any flaws that it may have. You, as myself, seem to just enjoy the game for what it is atm.
  6. I have the same settings on 560Ti in SLI and if I turn sli off to use my third screen the FPS ingame stays about the same.
  7. And now we sit in suspense as we await Kretos response. edit; Yes but that's a 2 gpu setup which has, in my and many others experience a lot of flaws. That and the fact that getting 2 560Ti's is cheaper with more punch and 2 570's is about the same price tag with way more punch. Although SLI has its fair share of problems as well.
  8. You two should compare more than your GPUs. Cause that is quite interesting.
  9. Most nvidia cards only support 2 screens. Anyways, OP, I suggest you read some reviews of 6950,6970 and 6990 to make up your own mind of what to get. But if you really don't have a budget, going for the biggest bang is always a safe bet. And as someone mentioned above, you could wait for the 7970 from AMD to be released. But if I got to decide what you would buy, I'd get 2 Nvidia cards 560/70/80. I've always felt that nvidia delivers more reliable drivers and better cards overall, but AMD's current lineup is in no way bad ofc. I currently run 2x 560ti 2gb on with 3 screens and SWTOR at 100fps with everything at max.
  10. Even though you've already gotten a good reply. It's easier for people to help you if u tell us your price range.
  11. This is the kind of response an early trial period will bring out. People won't see it as the positive thing it can be, that is, a way to get your friends to try the game out. And bring new costumers for BW. The people that actually would find it as a positive thing would stay quiet and happy and the short minded bunch would say that this is a sign that it is failing. "lol swtor has to give free trials cause they're failing" and other doomsday bs. Even though I'm quite sure BW would see a bump in subscribers when they do this. Cause, they will, eventually. I wouldn't hold my breath that it will come anytime soon.
  12. Ok , so you like making friends on your server, that is great. And I agree, it is fun playing with people on the same server and making friends when you find someone u can actually stand. But, to go back to your original point with the LFD "fix", if you choose the 'only people from my server' option. Would you then only get grouped with people that chose the same option or would you get grouped with people from both "queues" so to speak. Cause if you would get people from your server, that didn't take that option, they would be in the LFD mindset, of not caring about the ppl they're playing with. And if you only got ppl that took the option you would sit there waiting for a grp for a very long time.
  13. This is just stupid, I really dislike wow's LFD tool, but when I played I used it. Because it was the fastest way to get a group, if they would implement the same stupid system in SWTOR (on that note, you're trying to "fix" something that doesn't exist?) and put in the option to only grp me with people from the same server. I would never use that option, cause I like to use the most effective version, even if its a system I dislike. Surely sitting in a channel spamming "LFG/M" may be outdated but I much prefer it to the aformentioned LFD tool. The only improvement I could see being ok when it comes to searching a grp would be. A window where I can select what dungeons I want to do, my class and my role. To then be placed in a list, this window would ofc also have another tab with the same filters for people looking for more player for their group. But even that isn't even needed atm imho, cause I have a guild.
  14. Even though I can get very annoyed at some things, mostly just the whole character responsiveness thing. I still enjoy the game to no end, granted I haven't reached 50 yet but I have reached 41,31,20 on my characters. To me it feels like the game has a lot of potential and I have a lot of patience to wait and see what they do with it. Also, directed at the OP, I agree completely with being rather confused as I too was very boggled when I first ventured onto the forums after playing for several days. Though boggled but not surprised. As this has been a reccuring thing in all mmo releases I've joined in on. But I do back up constructive criticism and thus far the only constructive thread I've seen is the Player responsiveness discussion thread, #4 right about now iirc. ..went rather off-topic there didn't I, oh well.
