How did George Lucas create something so incredible and ground breaking 30 years ago and then... slip into the sirly bonds of doing less and less for it's fans?

I posted here about 5 weeks ago about "to old to play this game" and I just remembered ! Well I'm not playing farming simulator 2011 any longer and I've tried to work at DCS A-10C WARTHOG... yawn.. Logged into my Seven Year Old Eve account... looked around left.. played drag racer on my galaxy nexus .. thought about fifa 2012.. bored.. sad.. I can't find a game and a community.. or a game that is my community and I really thought that the gaming industry was headed in that direction.

Some of you know me as IagIag or Tubomixer from sunrunner from SWG and I DO NOT WANT TO start another debate about that.. The gaming world is headed to absolute consulitis (yea like tonsiliutus) or just follow this this pretty script and you'll be at level 50 ! and then you can hang out in the republican fleet hanger and show off some uber speeder... I like sandboxes.. alot.. BUT as an EVE player for 7 years that environment doesn't work either - EVE is a guild controlled world. I have 10 and 10's of billions of dollars of ships and stuff there but I never meet anyone I trust enough to game with (and thats after many bad friend ships (pun intended) and I love the idea of eve.. but I can't spend two months on a ship to have it destroyed in 2 minutes. So back to this game and SWG. I'm a middle aged adult and I grew up as a person who not only had to make his/or her way financially but I had to make my way as a person who had interests, dreams, passions, endeavors, etc.. ANYONE who wants to live needs to have a need to do that.. I played so many games in the 90's eq, BF, RB6, all that etc.. In SWG I really felt compelled to login to the game to LIVE.. like it tapped into my need to live and that's creepy maybe .. but it tapped into my my needs. I'm a very successful person and I need a game to replicate what I do all day --- that I can have fun with and take risks with in the evening. Does that makes sense? I spent the last two weeks playing Farming Simulator 2011 because I was so tired of fighting everything and everyone in this game.. i just wanted to plant crops and raise some cows.. That's what SWG was.. . i t was a career game.. you could fight, dance, mine, raise pets, bio engineer pets, make clothes .. bioware has no financial interest in adults.

Shadow Hand is the next Sun Runner. I feel it in my bones. I feel it like the first time I fought the first PVP battle at Anchorhead -with that dude .. mc-something.. with 2 giant sand beetles! Salute to Rolf.. Rolf was really trying to make hte complex universe but the bugs and the impatient kids never let up.. I was reading Gameinformer a few weeks ago.. and Sun Runner ended up closing at 96% IMP. Iag Iag (Master Architect, Master Armorsmith, Master Chef, Master Creature Handler, Master Dancer, Master Bio Engineer, Master Droid Engineer, Master Fencer, MAster Imager Designer, Master Musician, Master Dancer (, sshh , Master Pikeman (and most people knew me as a 2 arm), Master Swordsman, Master Pistoleer (pain ), Master Rifelman (loved it) Master Tailor, ( i give up! mastered them all and it was so much fun) Before I left the game (my Brother died so my life changed) I ran a Mining business and specialized in a large store that sold nothing but Mining Lasers.. I could never find them on any planet's server so I created my own bus with the best planet mining lasers. It's not hard to explain that someone like me had 6 accounts which all worked in concert. I knew a guy.. John Paul -er somthin.. We were the HEROES of Anchorhead! Iag Iag (Zuzi, Havoc Squad)

I'm not concerned that I can't get into the game when I wish (although that angers me) How about the June 21 2001 launch of SWG? hhmm? Anyone recall that? It took at least until mid July for that to get fixed .. I am more concerned that this blunder, the failure to envision this games popularity and HOW FAR that rabbit whole might go. Just a few east coast severs? I don't get it.. I cannot imagine the wait times on Christmas eve thru jan 15

with a queue? shadowhand has like an hour queue.. perhaps these aren't the east coast servers ..

not sure what is up with the auction house.. i played around and "attempted to" sell twenty 1250+ med packs (on shadowhand) for 10 credits each on a two day auction and only sold one! I could have sold them to the vendor for 150 each but I really wanted to see if players "knew they were there or could access player made items" OH.. and one more thing.. not having to wait an hour to get in game would be awsome!9 Zuzi

there is something very wrong with having to wait for something you've already paid for.. this will not sit well with all the kids who got this game at Christmas only to find they can't even play it! kind of like, when we were young and got a toy that needed batteries.. but all the stores were closed! OMG bioware you are in for some bad press.. HOW COULD YOU HAVE NOT ANTICIPATED !

Such common sense! I pay for bigmac must wait 8 minutes I drive up to car wash.. must wait for car ahead. I buy new car in my colour must wait 2 weeks I buy gun must wait 24 hours for state to approve. I sit at table and wait for waitress.. and sit I look forward to computer game.. must wait 4 years I log into game must wait 32 minutes. I tell all people I know.. Get out while you can..
