HAHAHAHA I agree with the OP, he's paying for a service and at the LEAST he should be notified when that service will not be available to him, it's just the right thing to do.
For those that want a "hamburger" analogy....So you go to Burger Junk and order a Hamburger, ask them NOT to put cheese on it, say please and PAY for a Hamburger w/o cheese (which btw is the definition of HAMBURGER as opposed to CHEESEburger) When you get that hamburger home and open it, it has cheese on it, so you call Burger Junk and tell them what happened and they say......NOTHING, they hang up, just leave with that crappy burger that you didn't ask for, nor did you want it......when is the next time that you visit Burger Junk??
I don't believe that BW has any interest in this game making money, they can't, they won't fix any issues, they just "hang up" on the people with problems, I'm guessing from the BW defenders it's because we are few and far between.....(SW Galaxies).....the "few people that have problems with BW are just left addressed! To bad, I was kinda enjoying this game, but I can't continue to pay for cheese that I don't want or like!
