  1. Unfortunately, attachments are directly forbidden by the Jedi code. I know you didn't want to discuss that aspect of it, but its difficult not to given the subject we are now talking about. The Jedi Vergere believed that Marriage(and by extension, Love)needed to be outlawed in the order primarily so as not to create dynasties of those strong in the Force. If familial dynasties were allowed to form, infighting could develop in the Order itself, and it would collapse as it had done in the Sith Order for centuries prior.
  2. Kephess is coming back in the next story arc, and the one after that, and the next one after that.....
  3. It might also help for us to understand what "Balance in the Force" truly means. If we take the early history of the Je'daii order, there was an understanding that there must always be Light and Dark where the Force is concerned. When the Order was originally founded on Tython, balance was held in high regard, and the planet itself reacted to imbalance: "Observing the world around them, they saw two moons in the one sky—light Ashla and dark Bogan—and they understood the dual aspects to the Force, light and dark. The light defined the dark as the dark did the light. When balance was not maintained, Tython reacted to the imbalance with severe storms and quakes. And so the travelers defined themselves, ever seeking a balance. They became the Je'daii, a Dai Bendu term meaning "mystic center." Only through the harmony of balance could the Je'daii maintain a peaceful world." ― Ketu
  4. He was far from being a proper Jedi Knight. Yoda: No more training do you require. Already know you, that which you need. Luke: Then I am a Jedi. Yoda: No. Not yet. One thing remains. Vader. You must confront Vader. Then, only then, a Jedi will you be. And confront him you will. Confronting a Dark Lord of the Sith would be his trial to pass from Padawan Learner to Jedi Knight.
  5. He didn't listen to what Yoda told him when he was at the diminutive Jedi Master's bedside: Do not underestimate the powers of the Emperor........... or suffer your father's fate you will. He had no ultimate plan. He didn't listen to Yoda. He underestimated Darth Sidious, and it almost cost him his life.
  6. Not just that, but Yoda indicates in the Revenge of the Sith novelization the following:
  7. We will find out about Darth Caedus in the upcoming Star Wars film, since it is becoming more apparent that he will be the primary villain.
  8. I sense a trollololol. If not, then you sir/miss, are a tiny bit late on soloing KPSM.
  9. He did? I seem to remember a trailer called "Hope" wherein Satele Shan shoved Darth Malgus into a mountainside on Alderaan and unleashed a Force Push that totally merged him with the mountain.
  10. It was in the novel Shatterpoint, but Mace Windu's lightsaber also creates peace from time to time.
  11. Its entirely possible that Korriban and Moriband are the same planet, just with different names(for whatever reason). However, after browsing the above mentioned website, it reminds me of another SW related website that existed around the time the Prequel Trilogy was being made. It was run by a guy with the handle "SuperShadow" and he came up with TONS of suppositions, theories, and fake information about the movies and other items Star Wars. Take this current site with the proverbial "grain of salt".
  12. I would be a Jedi Knight, but a maverick one, along the lines of Qui-Gon Jinn. Next to Yoda, the most ****** Jedi of the saga so far, even though he died by Darth Maul's hands.
  13. If we can pick where we can place our housing.....I am putting my house out beyond the Dune Sea.
  14. The sad part is that this is probably 100% true. There are so many players in the game now that, from what I can tell, apparently don't like the idea of having to actually learn of use mechanics to defeat the content. You try to be nice and walk them through it with explanations, and they just want to "do it" and get it over with. I seriously doubt these types of people have EVER run a MMORPG before SWTOR and are probably playing this because: A. Its F2P. and B. It's a Star Wars game. These people are the reason so many wipes occur in pugs. When the group starts wiping, they rage quit. I had one recently where I was MT on the Boss of TC. A 36k Vanguard was OT on the adds. The Vanguard died during the 1st set of adds. Needless to say, a rdps had to pick up the slack with the adds while i continued to hold the boss. We still beat it without wiping(it was SM, so at least that was a relief). The Vanguard rage quit immediately following them dying, btw.....
  15. You're referring to: Commander Zaoron and Corrupted Bothrium Beast Commander Zaoron is easy to solo. You need to watch for TWO casts, Reaping the Fields and Parting the Way. These MUST be interrupted as they can cause severe damage/one shot you. Run from the Ravage cast if you must, but you can probably eat the damage from that and be okay. The Corrupted Bothrium Beast is also painfully easy to solo, but you must be careful with keeping track of the adds it spawns. The keys to beating this creature are: 1. Interrupt the Beast when it casts Extract. Failing to do this will result in you losing health gradually. 2. You cannot interrupt Obliterate. It is a massive pushback cast from the Beast. 3. The Beast will call a Tentacle into the fight after each Extract/Obliterate Cycle. Watch for the Red Text indicating this. You MUST kill the Tentacle immediately or the Beast will use it to replenish its health. Do these things and the Beast will die quickly. If you cannot beat the bosses with the tips above, I suggest you look at your gear, your rotation, or the gear of your companions, because both of them are completely solo-able.
  16. It would, but it also creates a situation where you are causing damage to the components inside your computer. If you decide to upgrade your PSU, you need to check and see, starting with your motherboard and case, IF they will even support an upgraded PSU, otherwise you are going to be building a new rig.
  17. Just looking at your specs alone, I think I see ONE major issue. That memory your rig is using: 8 GB DDR2. That's pretty slow by today's standards. 4GB alone is required for 64 bit Windows 7, such as you currently have. Add in the 2 GB(minimum required for the game) and there isnt much room to maneuver. Check to see if your mobo supports DDR3 because DDR2 is kinda old. Your memory does appear to be the culprit, but I do have a question, is this a laptop, or a desktop?
  18. What's the old maxim? Oh yeah...... Who said Life was fair?!
  19. I applaud you sir, for your clarity on the subject. Well done!
