Er no its not, as he said, as of 1.2 the purple gear from end game at least (if I am not mistaken they mentioned specifically the end game stuff at one point anyway) will hae the armouring remoable which will include the set bonus on it and there will be zero stats inherant to the armour once all the mods are removed.
  2. Not really the trooper PvP sets are quite nice, particularly the level 40 set i admit, but again no craftable equivalent... yet.
  3. Except its only inferior in you want to swap the mods out, its still the best way to get any of those level mods anyway.
  4. but while its harder because of extra mechanics and co-ordinating 16 people and is dropping the same loot then its an issue, as they dont want to increase the loot, then surely the other option is, make it easier.
  5. Nobody plays them, hmmm we have 5 out of 42 at 50 at the moment, which is actually almost the 1/8th split, so i wouldnt say no one plays them.
  6. dubious about the long term use of the alacrity stim to be honest, you are going to use a lot more power in those 15 seconds than normal, i think the power one for bigger heals, especially as its also bigger dots from the medpack would be the way to go for me.
  7. Yeah but I can use stims and adrenals too, the blues last through death and for 2 hours so they are hardly a pain to use, and the stat difference between the stims I can easily get and the rakata ones from the biochem is a lot less than that from 2 augments
  8. Not entirely sure how being able to get yourself an augmented version of the best belt and bracers in the game for example isnt worth it, but fair enough.
  9. did you consider it wasnt on the pts but instead went in to the patch as they put it on live.
  10. Because if you have too much you use your skills so fast you run out of your resource...
  11. Well i know i am certainly not, ok i can get blues back fine but purples I have had maybe a single one from all my crafting since the problem.
  12. yeah cause only 2000 out of 1.7 MILLION players rolled scoundrel, hardly i expect the OP's numbers to be more accurate.
  13. I dont know where the difference is but the smuggler skill doesnt mention a maximum amount of damage absorbed and indeed can absorb a hell of a lot, though only i have noticed of particular damage types.

  17. I also find the instant more efficient then the other TA/UH using heal with the cast time
  18. Hmm my main heal is a little faster because I am wearing what I have managed to get so far, so stuff does still need tweaking, but considering its only 3 points of power extra per piece compared to mine thats an impressive extra amount on the heal.
  19. they can still get debuffs applied to them while they are passive so that doesnt solve it at all.
  20. hmm never had that, if if they havent been spotted soon after stealthing they havent been spotted at all.
  21. Well yes it will do because on expire it applies a debuff, debuffs aggro, thats correct. And yes any debuff on your companion will reveal you, if I can i dismiss then stealth.
  22. As opposed to the Sage/Sorcerer one that can heal any number of people in the radius for more health ? Erm no i dont think it is. Ok Smuggler healer rather than Operative but other than the AoE I dont have that many issues. Though I find it interesting OP that your 1.5 does so much more than your main heal when mine doesnt seem to do more to that degree, to the point that I found it not worth using and I would just use the Upperhand staks for the instant cast and power regens.
  23. Well it doesnt net you the same amount of armour at the moment so it wont after the change ether. BUT they do need to do some social sets for medium and heavy then.
  24. And mentioned before when they first said what they were doing with the armour that the set bonus would be on the armoring.
