  1. Expect new things to not be polished. This is mainly because you can't see him, as he goes out of your range, either because the cover you're behind gets in the way (If you're at different elevations). Otherwise, just take cover in place and start firing.
  2. I want pandas and mages. Come on, Bioware, chop chop. The game'll go F2P unless you add them. You don't want that, now, do you? Oh, wait. People need to stop asking for things that were in WoW or whatever (I never played pass the level 20 trial, so I don't really know what's WoW and what's not). If you want damage meters and macros go back to whatever game you were playing. This is swtor. This isn't WoW with lightsabers. If it is indeed as some say, then you guys would be asking to remove lightsabers, and then it'll be "identical to WoW'. It creates inbalance (As others stated above me).For instance: The competition is to be able to make a fire using twigs, and you're asking for lighters simply because you're either lazy, or (maybe) physically disabled in some way. If it's the latter, I somewhat do understand, as I have complete sympathy for an amputee who loves these kinds of interactive video games. If it's the former, then no. Just no.
  3. Why would you want to go neutral? You say as a role-play reason. If you want to roleplay, then make a separate character to kiss up to an alignment for beast gear. Jesus. Neutral gear = bad.
  4. If the classes have zero replay value, then (forgetting all about alignment gear, or ANY bonuses to alignment) these alleged "choices" made in your class story are really just "problems", because they lead to the exact same outcome: The preset story the Devs made for the agent. No, I don't care how much you and Kaliyo hate the job and want to become a Jedi on Tython, it won't happen. No matter how much your character wants it. Either way, it's either a) the game is constantly changed throughout, and choices keep different rerolls of the same class fresh and not-boring. b) alignment is something to grab in addition to the pre-set story the Devs have laid out for the class, so alignment doesn't hinder game story at all, just your mental role-playing entertainment. The devs in the past have alluded to the former, in which case you should reroll. If in fact in actuality it is the latter, than the devs have been lying to us for a long time, and we should just cancel all our preorders. Oh, wait...
  5. About your OP, it does not FORCE you to go and max out. However, thanks for the video. Now I actually understand where you're coming from. However, my first post still stands. If you're interested in role-playing, then role-play it out. Last time I checked, role playing and enjoying story doesn't REQUIRE 50 more endurance from an end-game LS chestplate. Yeah, it's better in PvP, but then, you're focused on role playing now, aren't you? Not PvP/combat. If you are interested in PvP, then go (as I said in my other post, now I'm just reinforcing my views) and max out your alignment towards the best endgame gear. Sure, it's a matter of CHOICE, there, my friend. Story, or combat, the 2 of the 4 major "pillars" of MMOs. Just re-roll, make a new character, one to enjoy that story, the other to enjoy PvP combat/whatever else. Besides, you'll end up making more characters to continue to enjoy the story of other classes/choices you make throughout your game.
  6. ... Those who are interested in role-playing, and story outcome should play what interests them. Bioware isn't forcing you to max out alignment to get that slightly better gear to be better than that one person in PvP. If you want to race to end game to **** in PvP, then maybe you won't care for role-playing and story. In that case, go for alignment. Besides, who said you had to make one character? Go make another one if you really want to see how the other outcome choice affects your gameplay experience.
  7. ... sigh ... Maybe morality just doesn't work in an MMO (I've noticed MMOs are generally over-simplified in game mechanics compared to games like KOTOR). Bioware has taken a couple of slightly different approaches on moralities in their games (Or at least the ones I've played). The two that stand out most to me are Mass Effect and Kotor. In Mass Effect, your morality choices unlock special lines of conversation to help you in the game. This could be from getting extra items, to being able to complete an assignment (Sidequest, in MMO terms). The idea is that if you don't have enough, it's "you're not bad enough to say/do this". In Kotor, however, your LS/DS points can give you extra great crystals and gear, to being able to obtain extra rewards or credits, or maybe influence to gain exp by talking to a party member. The more you leaned towards an alignment also affected your efficiency in one side of the force (Of course, you have to be a jedi in KoTOR, however in SWTOR, LS/DS is plausible as throughout the Star Wars movies, it's mentioned that every creature is bound together by the force). In both of those games, morality maximization played a side-reward to enhance your game-playing experience. I do see a difference, as a LS/DS choice in SWTOR is obvious, and a theatrical climatic point in the mission or story, however in KOTOR, LS/DS options are hidden throughout normal conversation. In Mass Effect, small gestures of polite tone or unruly behavior results in small increments of Paragon/Renegade (LS/DS respectively) points. Because of this, morality in SWTOR isn't really worth rewarding, so I do see the opposition's argument of neutral gear. TL;DR - Morality (in my opinion as a Bioware RPG fan, not super-balanced-MMO fan/ OMG Y U RUIN MY IMMERSION?) should play a part in a side reward in leaning towards one side of the force, and those who do not care to do so shouldn't get slightly better gear. Again, I understand that in SWTOR, alignment gain is easy to get (say, getting a few LS/DS points). At least in KOTOR and Mass Effect, it was slightly more difficult to get maximum alignment as quickly as possible. EDIT: And the system was made (as Bioware stated countless times a long time ago to where I'm too lazy to fetch it) to where your choices will have an impact. I know that this means you won't want to go all one side or all another, and you're free to choose that. Bioware Devs also stated that it will determine also the reward gear you get. For all you know, it could be a neutral gear that matches in stats that of the alignment gear.

    PVP healing

Ahh, 3 pages being added after I look at one page. Someone's already suggested this by now, but why not add a shuffle teammates as targets? Sort of like tab, but it only targets friendlies. Then you wont need to click in them in the midst of battle. But of course, I /sign the petition to BIOWARE PLEASE FIX BROKEN OP FRAMES!
