  1. I agree that same server > cross server PvP. I enjoy seeing the same people and a lot of the other things people have pointed out in this thread. I do however like being able to play games, and as the queue on our server during this late period regularly (most nights) stretches on for upwards of 2-3 hours, it is not that much fun. I have finished all my daily farming for ear piece and implants. I have ops gear that makes all crafting, hard modes and solo gear farming redundant. I enjoy playing the game, I would just like to be able to play it during the night and at this point there are literally no games popping and I'm forced to log. Again, I prefer same server > cross server if the queues are relatively the same length, but at this stage I can't PvP without Cross realm or server merges and as I'm not sure how many players the servers can handle, I'm starting to think the cross realm PvP would be the best way of getting a game...
  2. I read down the list of comments in red and I really want to believe you're trolling but I highly doubt it. The constructive criticism shared by the original poster is an attempt to look at improvements to the game. He does so in a well written post and does not lower himself to flaming for the sake of it. The 'answers in red' were not only completely obscene, but it is clear in your attempt to write a response to every single point he made, that you really didn't think through the answers as you typed. When Bioware introduces some of the features that he suggested which WILL happen, not because he posted it but because it is inevitable, I wonder if you will still call these concepts horrible. Constructive criticism in a well presented way like this helps the game. Please do not shoot someone down when they present an argument in a polite and well written way.
  3. I actually just wrote something similar in a thread about the resolve system and I definitely agree. If the resolve system is staying I would like to see a carry over effect on the stun breaking abilities. If they can stun you after the 3-5secs has worn off then we're all back to normal, but that 3-5 sec carry over would do a lot to improve the situation imo.
  4. As a tank with 22k health I can say that even with that amount of health stuns are stupid. They last entirely too long and the resolve bar needs to be balanced hugely. I fail to see the point of having a 'get out of stun' ability when as soon as you pop it you are stunned another 3 times in a row. Not only should the stuns be looked at but the abilities to break them should have some sort of carry over effect so you break stun and are immune to those impairing effects for 5 seconds or a number similar to that.
  5. Definitely need the groups to hold over after a Warzone, its annoying. Agreed with having the group queue overwrite the originally solo queues too. Too many times we've had to all requeue a bunch of times because someone is still in solo queue.

  8. Quick google search will show its reported around 100million. Regardless of the cost of the game I don't understand how this happened.
  9. So am I the only one wondering how this stuff got through BETA testing? I'm in PvP on Voidstar, and the map overlaps the right hotbar. And on the left the OPS groups overlap the left one... I have absolutely no idea how this stuff made it to live...

Having the same terrible luck as some, guild mate started PvPing, got 4 items in a row before I had even got my first one. 12 bags in, still only got the 1 item while he has opened about 10 and got 5 pieces. Because of the expertise stat you can't compete with the other players to win more games to catch up anyway. For those that say 'L2P' or 'Get better' its not a case of that. If you have two good players going against each other and one has that much of an expertise advantage based on luck, then you should NOT be able to win the fight. Huge balance issues aside in the game (some I have no idea how they got through BETA), random is not indicative of a players skill, effort in warzones or time spent playing your game. This system is the worst system I have seen in a long, long time. It needs to go.
  11. Good post. PvP is broken in a lot of ways right now. Doubt anything will be done sadly.
