also the orange items are only viable up to lvl 49. Level 50 gear have their mods locked! You cant swap them in and out!

To me it looks like crafting is useless, except for the Bio one that gives you never ending stims.

ahh so you can equip both? I though you only could have one and that you would swap them from your bank according to what you were doing. Good to know Heads off to the bank

Yeah in wow i didnt have this problem, thats true... could just go up to an pvp instance and get right in... guess thats our republic now.

I always play the dark/bad side of an MMO and it is always over populated. I feel sorry for the other side when it comes to grouping up and do raid content. The dark/bad side never have a problem there. I still have horrid memories of trying to do pvp faction content in other mmo's where you had to wait what felt like forever until the other side managed to fill up their spots. This is MMO's however... in all my MMO time, starting in UO, it has always been the same. On a side note.. why dont they make MMO's with 3 factions?? Would probably even out the population.

If you like PvP, then you are in luck! When you queue up for PvP encounters you will get right into the game, while the other side probably have waited for a long long time. .. so its always something good in any situation

Its a bug apparently, and BW wants you to report it to customer service. Look through the dev posts and you will find a post about it there.

When reading through the posts in this forum Im left with a scary feeling inside. Apparently! 1. Crafting is useless 2. PvP is a joke 3. End game is boring 4. Sith is more powerful than Jedi (but we know) 5. UI is utterly crap 6. FPS is a huge problem 7. BW dont listen 8. Its impossible to find a group without LFG spamming 9. Everything cost too much 10. Some is making way to much credits 11. Its to fast to get up to 50, where apparently it is now very lonely and booring 12. the list goes on and on. I think i will just stop reading the forum and go back and enjoy the game as it is... Have fun all!

I dont agree. They had an extensive beta, that I were a part off, and the "huge content and probably bug fix patch" that you think will come in january (and it probably will) should have been in before launch. I dont know how many times, the most common bugs that are still in game, were reported during beta and nothing were done about it (i guess they had bigger issues) Take the gathering node not being harvest able. Thats not a new thing. That bug were in beta for a long time, but then again I guess they had bigger issues. I just think that most of this problems should have been solved before launch, but I guess they had bigger issues. It's easy to be a gamer shouting from the outside, when we dont really know what problems are on the inside, but then again....

Security vendors got some cool customization. I found one for the SI tank that looked great!

Some of the posts I found to be constructive criticism, but you are right, they can do what they like in their own house. I find it kind of sad though as you should be allowed to discuss certain topics, but then again, my concerns really doesn't matter.

Yes it does. I use mine and it works perfectly! No problems what so ever. If yours dont work then it must be on your end. Maybe its your driver? Try to install the latest one again or something.

You cant! Well there is one workaround. You need to have installed a head gear, and then turn show headgear off in settings. Then the hood goes off, strangely enough!

well, when Guild Wars 2 gets out, I would imagine a lot of players (mostly old time MMO players though) will jump ship. If SWTor is your first mmo, then the game is great. If, however, you have played MMO's since the early dark ages, then I think you will probably leave SWTor after a while. As it stands now crafting is more or less useless at end game. UI is horrible (im sure this will change) No addons/macro (this is a huge thing for old time MMO'rs) (will prob. be implemented later on) PvP, from an old time MMO players perspective, isnt that good to be honest and its really unbalanzed .. (im sure that will be fixed later on.) GTN interface is horrible. (will be fixed later on) There is a lot of bugs (will be fixed later on) Now alt the points that will be fixed "later on" may come to late for the old time MMO player and that is why i think a lot of them will move over to Guild Wars 2. Just my rant, those who will continue to play the game could not care less if a lot of players left SWTor, but as an old fart MMO player, I think its sad if I had to leave this game. I enjoy the Star Wars universe, but i will not stay in it just for the sake of staying. I do want quality for my buck's, and right now its not really there.

So cybertech is useless at end game then, except for the ear item. Only reason i use Cybertech is for the mods. If i cant use the mods at 50, whats the point?

Just left Balmora with 20 commendations i cant use. These were give to me as a reward for doing work (quests). After buying all the armor I can to upgrade my SI, (there are hardly no SI mods to buy on Balmora), and my companion I still have 19 commendations that I have absolutely no use of. We cant trade them on GTN anymore We cant exchange them for other commendations anymore. We cant sell them. They are just useless. Feels like i have done all this work (questing) for no reward at all (except the xp) Arda

OMG if this is the case than its really really sad. I can understand that sliceing got nerfed down, but not under the mission cost.

There were talk during beta that some rare crystals, like the white one, dropped from world bosses... i would imagine the high end ones.

This... i was amazed on how many "new" mmo players there are.. Well the learning curve on how to play in flashpoints is not that steep, so I guess "in time" most will know how to play their class, but I have to agree its kind of annoying the simple errors done at times... on the other hand I try to educate and not complain, but its not easy at times.. not easy at all
