I am admittedly a mmo hoe. I play so many of them and this one is one of my favs. I kept hearing horror stories about the 7.0 changes from different people who supposedly left the game and came to play other games. I didn't want to believe it and after a about a year being away, I came back a few days ago. My experience was horrible as a solo player and for the first time, I cancelled my sub to this game. As much as I want to support this game, I can't in good conscience continue to do so. If you agree with me great, if you don't great as well. I'm not looking to debate or rattle any cages, I am just sharing my opinion and the continued comments I get from other gamers.

Yes the changes are awful. I just came back and these changes imo created a ***** show for me as a player. They are horrible and I just cancelled my sub. Lastly just an FYI, the guys talking about Electronic Arts being in trouble and their stock valuations. I can tell you with 100% certainty the outlook is good for them right now. Their recent report to investors really justified their position of strength and when asked if their stock is a buy, I took the consensus information from the top brokerage firms and received the folIowing: Electronic Arts stock a buy? Electronic Arts has received a consensus rating of Buy. The company's average rating score is 2.80, and is based on 16 buy ratings, 4 hold ratings, and no sell ratings. You wouldn't see any of these things for a company in trouble. In fact, Nasdaq has them rated as best buy right now. The private report to investors must have been a good one, because the investors are very happy with the most recent report as reported by Bloomberg and a slew of other financial outlets. This is also all public information.

I have done them all. This is why I am frustrated. The given options just aren't good.

Being the alt whore I am, I don't mind playing the main stories again with a new toon. In fact, I wind up deleting some characters because I like the new ones I made more. I usually decide by level 50 if I am going to keep a character or not. For me the choices I make play a big part. With male characters my romance choices with who and why impact me greatly, with female characters there are so few romance options I like, I generally go either Theron or Lana. For some reason I am that weird person that likes making new characters and getting invested in them. As for taking the older characters through the story again, I m not sure i would do it with some classes. I had real issues with how the trooper plays combat wise and the story for the Jedi Consular after chapter one was very blah for me.

Interesting. My idea is somewhat fits in here I guess. I would love to see Snoke turn out to be Valkorian. This way they could bring in the Old Republic into canon.

I am a male but play female characters regularly. I am greatly disappointed in the female romance options. I absolutely agree and everytime I play a female character I find it very difficult to even think why i would romance any of the options. Believe it or not about the only person I can somewhat tolerate is Theron, but his option is terrible in terms of story.

My guess/hope from the very beginning was that Snoke was Valkorian or Sypho Diaz. I am still hoping for Valkorian so they can bring the old republic into canon. Its a longshot I know, but there is always hope.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered a million times, but does the double experience apply to already created characters not at max level, or only newly created characters (ie level 1)?

Ok just figured it out. Go to the triangle on the menu on the top of your screen. Go to chapters and select the one you wish to start. If you purchased the expansion and have your character ready, you can access chapter 1 and begin playing that way. It worked for me.

This is an issue for sub players as well. I am an active sub player and I purchased this expansion and went through it on a few other characters. I also can not access Knights of the Fallen Empire when I attempt to do so from my ship. The option is not there. I also do not know where or how to access it at this point.

I understand how to unlock items from my collections for all characters. My question is the following: I received part of an armor set, the chest piece. Can I unlock only the chest piece or do I need the entire set before I can unlock it? The specifics: I received the top half of an armor set in the dark versus light rewards pack. I only have part of the armor set. Can I just unlock those pieces or do I need the rest of the set?

Anyone else having issue get on?

This is really getting annoying. I play the game for a week or so, no problem. Come home, I am ready to play just like I did last night and the night before ect. I am waiting for the game to initialize, then it goes into its reorganizing mode for 20-30 minutes, next it verifies for 10 minutes and then it installs for ungodly amounts of time. I figure at my current rate, I will be able to log on and 6:00 am tomorrow if I am lucky, but in the meantime, I've lost another night of gaming and won't be able to log on until after work tomorrow. Why does this continue to happen? This isn't a patch update or anything along those lines. It simple takes away 12 or so hours of game play. I did a search and found a plethora of threads with the same issue on multiple sites including this one. I found several solutions that worked for others but not for me. In team speak speaking with fellow guild mates, found out this happens to many of them and also found out a solution that worked previously for them didn't work the next time. I can't believe after so many years this is still an issue. I've tried a bunch of potential fixes but none worked. So I logged on 5 hours ago and got this issue, right now the installation is at 42.09% and moving at the pace of a snail even though my internet speed is fairly fast. Sorry I just needed to vent as this happens far too often.:mad:

I have been playing this game for a long while and everything worked well. Today out of the blue, my game play got very slow and choppy. The game would go from me playing on my character, backwards to the loading screen for about 5-10 seconds, then back to my character which was slow and choppy game play for about 15-30 seconds, then back to the loading screen. It repeats itself. I have tried several general solutions and checked my own computer for any issues. Other games play fine without any issues and what's weird is SWTOR played fine, even this morning until the issue started. Anyone else experience this or something like it? Any advice on fixes?

I can't stay connected to the game. I am able to stay connected for about 5-10 minutes and then I get DC'd. Has been happening all morning. I tried all kinds of solutions and have been able to verify this is an issue with this game only. No issues for one hour on either Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. Even when the game DC's me, other internet services work fine and without issues. Example posting to this forum and getting access without interruption. Doing a search, its clear this has been an issue many times before. Any solutions anyone can share if they have experienced this?

I just created a New Imperial agent level 60. I want to know if I can romance Kaliyo by either giving her a bunch of gifts prior to starting kotfe or can I romance her after I get her as a companion later in kotfe.

Just an FYI - As a Jedi knight when I am fighting a Sith Assassin, I am unable to attack many times. It tells me I am not in range when I clearly am. I have moved around and tried from many angles with the same results. I was able to duplicate the problem and some guild members verified the same issue.

Twitter may say its fixed, but the number of people who can't log in says otherwise.

A few things to keep in mind. 1. The people who post on forums like these, who actually play the game, is under 5% in almost every game. 2. Most of the people who play this game would be considered casual gamers. 3. Casual gamers generally make up the largest populations of most games by a very large margin 4. Casual gamers usually care most about story, emotional investment, and feeling successful. 5. With the new movie release, it stands to reason many people will try or come back to this game 6. You can bet new things are already in the works as they pertain to this game., ie new content, flashpoints, events ect. The bottom line is this. If the population and spending habits of people are thriving, than things will stay the same. If they don't, then changes will come. To the OP, if you want the same experience as 12x exp or even 2x exp, it probably wont come back for awhile with the success of the movie as the game will benefit from it. That type of leveling experience would be likely brought back for a weekend or event, to see if it would attract more subs or players. You speak with your wallet, so in all honestly it really sounds like you have a decision to make. Lastly, if people are curious where 1-5 information comes from, its from marketing surveys from just about every game out there and from this game specifically.
