  1. I just don't see this being true, but I'm not arguing. I'd like to hear your thought process for why you believe this though. (Other than no macros)
  2. ^^ Spot on. You like large group PvP, go do battlegrounds or rated battlegrounds. You like Small group PvP, go do arenas. Both options have a well done rating system that gives difficult to earn titles and gear. You like world PvP? Well, neither of these games really has anything to offer. WoW is still a decent game, it just happens to be stale for most of the people playing SWTOR (hence why we're here). 6 years of the same game gets old no matter how you dress it up.
  3. According to your sig you have 3 lvl 50s already? ***?
  4. For the last time, This was a hypothetical, I'm full champ gear at valor rank 54. I was trying to point out that there is no real competition in this game and PvP is ALREADY dull. There are currently a TON of people that are level 50 right now. In no way did I "rush to 50". I happen to have a full time job, I exercise daily, a social life, and yes other hobbies (no this life style is not impressive, I just state it to point out that my life is pretty ordinary and has balance). I actually took about 3 weeks to hit 50 and I did a lot of PvP along the way, while enjoying the great story and questing. Essentially I was trying to make the most of the leveling experience. But here's the real problem with the end game PvP content. There are no meaningful titles, no rankings, no arena, a poor system of gear distribution, and they already had a huge blunder with their joke of a world PvP zone. However, if you enjoy a worthless, mindless grind then you can play 3 generic Warzones that you've been playing since lvl 10.
  5. It's sure rewarding and mentally stimulating when I get to mindlessly farm newbs in pugs - because yes, 90% of the queues are against PUGs when you play Republic. My point still stands though. For a game that was claiming to be "very polished", "innovative", and had a BETA that lasted for over a year I just expected more. So sue me if I'm not on the fanboy bandwagon with all the nerds that played Star Wars galaxies for WAY too long.
  6. To make the posters of this thread aware: This was a hypothetical, I'm full champ gear at valor rank 54. I was trying to point out that there is no real competition in this game and PvP is ALREADY dull.
  7. Think back to 2005. All WoW had was a battleground grind, but at least that felt challenging and dare I say "epic" at times. Bioware didn't even surpass VANILLA WOW FROM 2005 in terms of PvP content. Isn't that kind of pathetic? Just sayin

    So is this it?

You just grinded the same 3 WZs over and over again and you're now valor rank 70. You have full Battlemaster gear and your "awesome" Battlemaster title. ....so.... is there anything else to do in this game? I guess I'll go do more WZs or attempt to gank in Ilum. In other words: The PvP WZ grind is mindless and not challenging. There are no arenas. Ilum is a sad joke. Why should we even invest our time in PvP content? Battlemaster is a pointless title that requires you queueing a bunch of times - you don't even have to win or be a decent player.
  10. We just completely disagree, perhaps I'll leave it at that and move on. Good luck to you sir.
  11. Why do you have to assume Bioware has to homogenize classes to make them competitive in say 3vs3 or 4vs4 content? And yes, what I say is the gospel compared to the crap nerd ragers like you spout on these forums.
  12. Let me sum this up for some of you: The people who dislike and constantly hate on arenas, suck at arenas. Over the course of time, changes made to classes strictly because of arena were very rare and minimally effected PvE; in fact, many changes that were warranted and needed for arena content never saw the light of day for fear of PvE being effected.
  13. Spinning Kick = 2 second knockdown, 400-500 damage. Hiddenstrike = 3 second knockdown, 2000-3000 damage, another 1.5-2K damage over 6 seconds. Just to make you aware, those abilities aren't the same. Also, just to highlight something, that extra second of knockdown actually makes a HUGE difference in terms of getting off initial burst; it allows you to chain together multiple abilities much quicker due to ability lag and how the global works in this game.
  14. I'm a Jedi Shadow, full champion gear with 12% expertise, and just under 16K HP. Similarly geared Operatives/Scoundrels (without expertise buffs or stims popped) can drop me to 30-40% HP in the initial 3 second knockdown of Hidden Strike/Shootfirst. I know these numbers are real and not inflated because I've dueled these people time and time again (it's the most controlled environment you can create). If you think that being able to drop any class to 30-40% with a 3 second opener is fair and balanced, than perhaps you should go watch Foxnews. See what I did there?
