  1. I'd say Commando, specifically Gunnery. Once you get Grav Round you can pretty much use a rotation of 3 or 4 abilities. Plus, you get your healer on Taris, you can self-heal, and you've got a long CC for more difficult mobs.
  2. I probably would have still tried it knowing it was being made by BioWare. If it wasn't Star Wars and wasn't BioWare? Definitely not.
  3. I think it's the best daily area since the Black Hole. I'd say the only thing I find annoying is all the stuns and pulls some of the random mobs do, but once you're more comfortable with the map they're easier to avoid. Soloing the Heroic is pretty straight forward if you can find the Champions who are away from most of the mobs. Oricon has finally gotten me interested in playing again after not really doing much of anything in-game over the past 4 or so months.
  4. You could do what I did: have an assault cannon and blaster rifle. I know wha you mean about sometimes wanting to run with a rifle instead of the bulky cannon. I've healed using a rifle before and really didn't see much of a difference, but I'm normally Gunnery spec. In gunnery spec, the only abilities lost are Charged Bolts and Hail of Bolts. Although once you get Grav Round there really is no point on using Charged Bolts. Hail of Bolts is handy so it's sucks to lose it. I guess what I will end on is that one of my favorite healers to run with uses a blaster rifle to heal and she is amazing as what she does.
  5. You can blame me. I think I broke the game with all the Cartel packs I was buying at the time.
  6. To say those holo statues are useless and for the lazy is completely ignorant. It is amazing to be able to buy your new skills while you are in the middle of a Flashpoint or other instance. Not to mention, it feels good to deploy for someone else who just dinged.

  8. The Starrunner Legacy on the Ebon Hawk. Van'ferro Meera Vennic Veritane Nav
  9. I think you're the first person I've seen complain that the Ebon Hawk has too much RP, usually it's the other way around. I love the server, but I've barely been on the Imperial side so I don't really know what goes on. The Republic side has been great. My guild is pretty active and we do a little bit of everything. Maybe you should try a Republic character? I can't recommend our Imp guild as it sounds like it is usually dead....and you might have already given them a try for all I know.
  10. I don't use a 360 controller but I have been using the Sony Navigation Controller in my left hand. I was using a keyboard and then moved on to my Logitech G13, but it was really doing a number on my hand. I'm using it with XPadder and have been very happy with how much better my hand feels. I feel like the Nav controller in conjunction with my Naga Epic gives me enough buttons to handle the game. The only downside is that I have to spam F8 when starting my PC to disable signature signing.
  11. So...I'm still on Nar Shadaa, am I still okay with Kira? I still don't get the quest icon on my ship that she wants to talk, but I know she does. Actually, since the patch I've yet to even see the 'wants to speak on ship' pop-up, but it showed up multiple times yesterday. I've got 3100ish Affection with her as well.
  12. So I'm wondering if the whole "Your companion wants to speak with you back on your ship" is just messed up. I just had one of these problems with Aric Jorgan when I was playing earlier. He wants to talk, we go back to the ship, and nothing... With Kira it's been the same thing. I DIDN'T chose the Dark Side option from what I can recall, but am still early on in Nar Shadaa. I've been running my FemTrooper until I we find out more about this issue, but after having the same thing come up with Jorgan I wonder if the system in place is just wonky. I'd much rather play my Jedi Knight because I like Kira and I HATE Jorgan with a passion. I've been trying desperately to rush back to my ship while the 'talk on ship' icon appears over their head, but I think it may only last 15 or so seconds. Has anyone just stood outside their ship waiting for the icon to appear? I haven't done that yet, but don't really want to either.
  13. I also sent them a ticket last night about not having the dialogue cutscene with her even though she wants to talk back on the ship.
  14. Don't feel bad. I did that, too. In fact, I keep forgetting about the second tab...I wonder what else is waiting for me.
  15. Exactly. How come I never run into an adventurer in real life? I could give him the quest to work for me and in exchange I would give said person a nice pair of pants...or gloves, whichever they'd prefer.
