  1. About inactive names. Those should be removed if there was no activity at all on the account, no login for example. Or atleast those with lvl below 10/15 (end of starter planet/end of Dromund Kaas/Coruscant). Otherwise, it's a good idea, i support this, if done properly.
  2. Excactly, that's basically the idea. And to be honest, travelling across Tattooine's dune sea at 90% is more boring than throwing womp rats.
  3. How about "speed limits"? 90% speed in settlements/fleet/ports, 150% outside cities/settlements, then 300% on open places like taris or tatooine.
  4. Well, when i worked last year, i usually found a day when i returned from work to play for the rest of the day. Mind you, it was not much, work from usually 6AM to 4PM, and 30 mins driving each way. Tiring work too, seafood production, sleeptime was usually from 9PM-4AM. I didn't drive, but the driver always picked me up an hour before work actually starts, and the as i said, the ride is 30 mins each way. So if you want to play, get a job close by, and drive/walk/bike there yourself.
  5. Welcome Metal-Head. Good to see another metallic player coming in. Mains character: Raud'bjornsra Server: The Progenitor Top 5: Bathory, Black Sabbath, Dio, W.A.S.P and Judas Priest.
  6. I agree that this should atleast be an option. I myself want one of each AC, and my main is a DPS Jugg, i would prefer to change him to Mara, RP him as a warrior with 2 swords. Not lightsabers, but vibroblades (or whatever they're called). Still got a lvl 30 mara, and is more fitting to be juggernaut than marauder. I'd swap AC's on them if i could. And as always, people seem to think they're forced to use optional stuff. Use it or leave it, and let people who wants it get it. It really is that simple.
  7. I disagree, the new loading art is nice enough. It doesn't have to be show some HQ images of certain in-game things. Other games have lots of concept arts for loading screens, beautiful.
  8. Changing an graphics engine is not too hard. Age of Conan did so, well they rebuilt the old Dreamworld engine to an improved version, complete rebuild. Not going into too much details, but it did work quite well, the implementation as well taking less than a year to do.
  9. Suggested something similar earlier. This can be easily implemented, just add a "directly-to-planet" use of the escape pod. And yes, directly to ship is there, then why not directly to planet?
  10. Funcom did it better with Age of Conan, called the Alternate Advancement actully, quite simple. This worked so that upon reaching the max level, you started gaining a different type of points, AA points. Depending on what you do, you received for example 30.000 points for completing a minigame, 60k for winning it. Same with killing raid bosses, gave you a decent amount of points, even weaker mobs counted in. And as soon as one reached 1.000.000 points in each style (PvP/PvE), you received 4 total perk points to use freely along 3 trees, Mastery, Expertise and Prowess, could be used to increase protection or armor, improving attacks by damage, even adding new combos (yes, combos, not 1-click slash 6 times). The 1M mark does not increase either, but the better the skill, the higher the cost. Some skills required up to 720 points of either Mastery (PvE), Prowess (PvP or Expertise (both, receives 1 point upon reaching 1M in either PvP or PvE). Oh yeah, all skills could be trained over time, and i did get 720 point perks, took a loooooong time.
  11. That sounds good, and simple. A simple little "chat" option: allow tells from opposite faction. Disabled by default. Or something like, if a Smuggler wants to chat with a Bounty Hunter, and the Smuggler starts, trying to start a conversation, the BH would get a confirmation box [####### wants to chat with you, please accept or decline the convo invite]. Let those who want it get it, and those who don't want it, leave it alone.
  12. I support this entirely. Of course, only under certain circumstances. After 6 months: Only those who haven't logged into the game at all (i.e. username/e-mail and password on launcher), below lvl 10. After 1 year: Those who may have logged into the launcher, but never used that toon below lvl 10 for over a year. And this is especially handy on RP servers, because if someone used a name you like, but haven't played nor used that for a year, why should he/she/it keep his name if he/she/it is not interested in playing it? Why not let someone who likes that name actually use it instead of letting it quietly fade into oblivion? There are more than one argument in favor of cleaning up, and of course, in disregard of it.
  13. Ok, so i thought the escape pod is useless, except if you're a guest on anothers ship. There should be a way for the owner of the ship to use the escape pod. What i suggest is using the escape pod to get down to the planet faster. Only the planet you're orbiting of course. Since escape pods ain't too accurate landing near the start of each zone, it could instead be completely random. For example, one orbits Hoth, then uses the escape pod, you could either land just outside Dorn base, or in the middle of the ships graveyard, it's risky, but maybe worth the risk (alternatively, unlock the "escape pod to planet" after finishing the planet). Maybe even add new locations where you could land on randomly, by rare chance. Only when you're not in group of course, shouldn't let your groupmates waiting for you while you kill a random boss or solve a hard puzzle for maybe a very rare reward. Or add random landings even in group/ops group but if you don't want to "accidentally" hit a random location or encounter, go through the space station. So, that's the best use of the escape pods i can think of. Any input?
  14. Yep, /signed. Bashing others happens in same faction too. I've seen it, joined groups where it happened, sees it in general chat sometimes... It makes no sense at all to restrict chatting cross-faction to /say only.
  15. double that, then we're talking. Speeders are supposed to be "speedy". 110%, even 125%, is to slow considering what use speeders have. Should rather be like this: 1st speeder training: 100%, second 150%, third: 200%.
