Despite playing the expansion for the first time this weekend, and reading the website and videos, who the heck is the old guy in white with the beard and Sith eyes? AM I correct that somehow the Empire and Alliance are friends now? Only thing else I could figure out was the two twins are test tube babies, and one killed the other for trying to kill their father. No idea why and how this all came about.

Thank you. for some odd reason, abilities including unleashed started appearing out of no where when I started the new storyline.

IN my Juggernaut Vengence build, "Payback" reduces the cool down of "Unleash". But, I cannot find "Unleash" anywhere. What gives?

The reason for all the complaining and hate is that MMO's in general suck compared to single player games and/or coop games. I have always said that as an experiment, if you take the Massive Multiplayer facet out of an MMO and make it a single player game it would never make the cut. Thats because too much is sacrificed in order to make it massive multiplayer. Also, when players pay a subscription each month they are entitled to complain because they want their moneys worth. Now....unfortunately, it seems that yes...most players are "I WANT IT ALL AND WANT IT NOW" types....and when devs try to make everyone happy they fail....you cannot give everyone what they want and if you try you will fail.

There is ONLY ONE way to play MMOs these days, and that is with friends or guild mates. DO NOT join random groups for ANYTHING....they will waste your time, take loot they do not need and are generally fail in all aspects.

In WoW, I selected Death Knight when I should have played Feral Druid. RIFT I played a Mage when I should have played a healer. SWTOR I played a Juggarnaut, when I should have played a ranged class...ANY ranged class.

War hero armor is released? I thought that was in Patch 1.2 next week? Also, as far as Rage Juggers are concerned ever notice our priority stat of power is always minus compared to what u are already wearing? For example, i am wearing Champ and all the BM stuff is minus power!

The problem with WoW, is no one wants to play yet another cutesy tootsy eastern style MMO, which is what WoW is becoming with its cute pets and now Mists of Pandora. Plus the graphics are so dated..... I wish the game had never released Cata, and just done something better. My hope is that Secret World does well, only to change the MMO formula of WoW and instead something different better and new. So that in the years to come the argument will be "this game is a Secret World Clone" and not the "WoW Clone" debate. As all MMOs seem to be a clone of WoW in some way shape or form. Sigh

This patch will be make or break for many players....I hope its good.

I agree, its very bad....que times for PvP are long, and all the poor FP players are spamming for groups and finding none. Time for server merges I guess.

I dont feel like playing SWTOR anymore. Enjoyed the trip to level 50, but after grinding valor for PvP (57 now), I cannot motivate myself to PvP anymore, until after maybe the patch, so I can see what that experience will be like. Also, 3 of my friends have left all citing "monotomy" as the reason for leaving. I refuse to group with random players in Flashpoints due to the *****hat factor. Currently, I am at the "interlude" part of my Sith Warrior class quests...odd, since I thought I finished them. Anyway, even crafting is blah now as there is nothing to craft, I do not need any of it and am not about to waste money on crafting materials to make stuff to sell on AH because its just not worth the money to spend making it. Even the Champion Battle Master armor is useless for my Juggernaut as every single piece is minus power, which a Rage Juggernaut needs as a priority. I am at a loss as to what Bioware was thinking when they put all the time into this games development.

Its the whole game population almost... I call it the curse of the major IP. I do love the class quests, but Ilum was and still is a JOKE...sure is fun just standing there as Empire and Repub stare at each other. Grinding your rump off for PvP gear, yet knowing that after all your hard work the upcoming 1.2 patch makes it easymode. Nothing to craft at least for me, until after 1.2 Do not group in FPs anymore unless its with friends or guildmates, do to the random groups and WoW kiddies ruining WZs and FPs.

I agree....I also love the game and its storyline especially. Played a ton of WZs (57 valor), but I no longer do FPs because of all the *****hat WoW kiddies that ruin grouping. If I cant group with friends or my guild I will not group! Nothing to craft, as its not worth my time to buy corusca gems, and sell them. WZs are still fun, but....why grind for Coms NOW, when after 1.2 it will be easy mode? LOL

Jung Ma was always busy, even in the mornings and evenings of work/school nights...now its dead and the waits for PvP WZs is long. You see the same players over and over again too. Many have stopped playing WZs because it might be better to wait for 1.2 before grinding for PvP gear coms again.

I figure why work my you know what off trying to get Champ and BM PvP gear, when I can just wait for the patch/update and get it faster. Am I correct in my interpetation of the update?
