  1. so far its one wave per hour. tracking email status invites through facebook.
  2. invites are going out every hour on the hour. will post again when i get my invite.
  3. As the original post for this thread is obviously wrong as it was announced that more would get in today than yesterday with more planned waves, I expect to see all the rest of us get on today. Whoever posted the December 24th cutoff....you mean november, but that was only for the last wave. They started this extra 2 day early initiation of EGAs in an attempt to achieve their plan to have everyone who pre-ordered on by the 15th. It is the 15th and we should all be happy and excited, not negative with the pointing fingers name calling and rudeness that I have seen the last few days. GET A GRIP PEOPLE!
  4. no...you want to understand what a true grind is, go play ffxi and you will see what a grind is. you will see what it is to really stand around with nothing to do with your flag up waiting for a party invite. I went from ffxi lvl 75 rdm, to lotro as a thf that barely got to taste raiding(what a joke that was), to wow to a lvl 85 hunter. Every mmo has its flaws, ffxi was rediculous grinding and waiting with sorry economy, lotro was just boring and went far beyond the story line of lord of the rings that it put you to sleep. wow gave me some enjoyment for the past 5 to 6 years, but when i found out they were dumbing it down so much that a 5 year old could play it, that was it for me. the research began to find a new home. guild wars 2 was the prospect until my good friend brunhel told me about swtor....got to play in the beta and felt right at home. i will be happy to get to play a game that appeals to the entertainment and smooth transitions from quest to quest. my favorite movie now gets to come to life and i get to play a role in it.
  5. The forums from what I have been told have a glitch with the time stamps. one of the bugs they feel does not need addressed at this time with the ega and game launch soon.
  6. My best friend pre-ordered the game for me as a early christmas present. I will be happy just to get to play again. Had a blast during beta and will have a blast once its open for play. I just hope it comes sooner than later.....so bored!
  7. This is a little off topic, but maybe someone might be able to tell me. I live on the west coast and I am familiar with time zones and differences, however....It is 11:38 am here as I post this. The time on my post is obviously way off that time...yet its not a time zone difference I am familiar with in the U.S. Can someone enlighten me...because when people talk about when today's waves have ended and they only got through certain months of pre-order, it is a little out there when I haven't even been awake very long.
  8. eh semantics.....we will all get to play eventually...facebook is really getting on my nerves already though...a person can only take so many apps in one day......can anyone say bored! lol
  9. I know when it came to naming characters on warcraft there were specific names relative to actual npc names that were on lockout. get creative with it and try to be original. you will get something cool eventually....
  10. Probably one of the main reasons they are not handling it the same way is because instead of it only being maybe around 2 million(and that being split up between countries and weekends), but because there are over 5 million pre-orders. It would solve a lot of the problems, but I truely believe the author of the original post of this thread is right. We all just need to have a little patience and let things happen. It's not the worst launch ever, it will probably be the smoothest launch ever. "Try to see the positive things in life instead of the negative. Life is too short to be so negative."
  11. A true sith knows not surrender. If it is a fight to the death, I say bring it! and for your info...I am a girl!!!
  12. Now when my friends first told me that illiteracy was a growing problem in this country....I did not believe them as everyone I know can read and comprehend what they read. But after reading all these posts since my last post, I now feel I have reason to believe my friends...its not hard to read an email or an "official" post by the crew behind swtor....but apparently a lot of people need to go back to school on this one. sorry all....this is just sad to me.
  13. Early Game Access* will begin on December 13th at 7:00AM EST, 2011 and ends on December 19th, 2011 at 10:01PM EST. During this time, we will be emailing invitations to join Early Game Access based on the order in which you redeemed your Pre-Order Code. Pre-load the game client now, so you're ready to play when your Early Game Access invitation arrives. Note that download time can vary and may take awhile. I have heard and seen many people wrongly state things regarding the early access and way in which it is determined. Above is a copy of the email that I received from swtor. I am simply glad that I now have an excuse to leave warcraft and follow what has always been a favorite of mine, star wars. Early access is a perk, and I will be glad if I get even 1 day of it before it launches. Finally a game worth playing..just promise me you won't dumb it down so much a 5 year old can play it in the future. Keep it challenging, keep it interesting, and above all keep up the hard work BioWare.
