Although I feel a little bit dissappointed that there is no new operation imminent, I am very happy with the following: 1) This is the one MMO that is so open about dates, albeit they are targets. I really like this. 2) I much prefer seeing NiM ops being released before a new op with just HM. 3) A new storyline is very much needed, personal stories are great in this game but the over arching stories have been quite weak. (Give us an illidan or lich king please!!!)
  2. You have been very good at posting in advance the anticipated timescales for new Op releases. Cant find anything with regards the next batch, any ideas on a rough timescale, helps me arrange my life for the progress race!!!
  3. Not downed it yet but it is perfect for NiM, although I would prefer the bosses to ramp up in difficulty rather than it always seem to be the second boss that is the hardest......... That way it will become easier in time as people gear up but then it is a true race for the progression guilds to clear week one/two.

My views are as follows: 1) Gratz to D&T on the world first kills. 2) Unfortunately the way in which it was achieved should dis qualify you from the progress race competition. 3) Both the 8man and 16man competition rules were badly written, it should be absolutely clear that the kills should be sequential. 4) Due to number 3 D&T should be included in the scores, you can't change the rules after the event unless using the "not in the spirit of competition" argument.   8. I think if you skipped a boss you are out of the race, this is a generally accepted rule.
  9. For me the UI is very very good for one that is not custom moddable by 3rd party solutions. However, there is one ABSOLUTE must for me: 1) Ability to track and identify your buffs, de-buffs, DOTs etc on a mob and not every man and his dogs. Seeing 4 incinerate DOTs and not knowing which one is yours for example is a pain in the butt! And one wishlist item: 2) Mouse over healing, please reduce the wear and tear on my naga by 50%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. Now that TorParse has the desktop parser and the website so that we can see top DPS parses for each boss it is by far the best parse/DPS log for SWTOR. It's recount and world of logs in one Nothing else comes close, keep up the good work
  20. OK this guys seems to be moaning about: 1) The game being free? And having to pay for cartel stuff only.......... 2) Not being able to level unusually fast with an unintended mechanic 3) There being too many classes, he seems to want 4 maximum. OK mate, good luck with that in another MMO and have fun. LOLOLOLOL
  21. Can I say how much I appreciate the early notice, so a big thank you to BW for that. It enables me to plan my RL to make the most of my experience and I really hope this level of communication on all patches/expansions continues. Thanks again, cant wait!
  22. This was not a good idea. To me I don't care but we have just lost two people who have quit the game over this. The game can ill afford silly losses like this. Its not Pay to Win but its Pay to Grind......... Bad bad idea, almost as bad as wasting time on legacy early doors in the game when they should have been fixing PvP.
  23. The 16man fights are harder and the proof is the number of people that clear 8man raids faster. For whatever reason it is logical to assume that if an 8man group can clear the instance in 1/2 nights but yet we are the only guild to pass the tank boss on 16man (3/4 currently), 16man is harder. In my mind its a mute discussion and generally accepted that 16mans are more difficult for the following reasons: 1) Raid mechanics at this level are pass/fail therefore twice as much chance to fail in 16man. 2) The organisation is twice as hard due to twice the number of people to co-ordinate. 3) You need to do twice the amount of recruiting/gearing (which is tremendously difficult) 4) Our officers need to give double effort to craft/buy/sell to get us geared and pay for our repairs.
  24. And thanks to Bioware we only get 4 hours before everyone is knackered 1 boss down though so not bad.
