The stuns in this game make me miss playing CoH on a tanker class. That was a real tank. You know, having abilities that prevent you from being made useless for half of any given battle.

I just ignore the pay for reps. But unfortunately, they seem to be trending towards putting some really cool legacy items in those rep rewards, which sucks.

doing arenas with these muppets will be even more frustrating than reg WZs imo. no communication= failure arena. "ccing sorc- dont touch!" mara jumps onto sorc and breaks cc... punt tank, cc, focus healer... oh am I the only one on target? ...its going to be a nightmare.

When jumping in and leading the attack, always use your main highest damage rotation absolutely first to make sure the tank doesnt steal your rightful aggro. Aoe is also highly recommended.

I love how people defend the gear treadmill "thats just how MMOs are" Yeah. Because some idiot who did it first made it that way. Its old. Its lame. And MMOs are soon to die as a genre if the established way of doing things continues to be stupid. People dont play these games for long periods because the grind keeps them here, they play because its fun (once you have the gear) but people sure quit these games because the grind prevents them from enjoying the basic fun parts of the game they play as a pasttime after work. Im pretty sure that if everyone wore the same damn gear but pvp was actually more fun and less tedium, more people would stay longer and be more satisfied with their MMO experience than ramming these gear treadmills up their posteriors every few months. But by all means, lets just keep doing stupid things "because thats the way MMOs are"

Im still waiting to see how it all plays out, but combining arena and wz queues is a big big mistake imo. I have little to no desire to play 4 v 4 arenas, but great desire to play huttball 9/10 games, and my leave WZ trigger finger gets itchy when im bored.

so, if you are so good, your build is so precise, and all thats holding you back is gear, please go into some WZs and gear up so you wont be at a pvp disadvantage in open world. FFS.

So im assuming they also are disabling field respec inside of flashpoints/OPs? And adding bolster to these game elements so the playing field is truly level for everyone in both pvp AND pve? no? thats what i thought. The sharp edges of this game seem to only cut the pvp crowd.

Guild leaders should require security key on their account. People who get "hacked" either dont have a key, are muppets with their password info, or they are dumb enough to have bought online credits and their account is compromised. Plus him stealing from people to recover something stolen by other people doesnt really come off as him being the one in the right here. Sounds like it was a justified ban.

body type 4 for both is just "big boned" take off your shirt as a body 4 guy and you look like a powerlifter. The woman body 4 looks like a softball player.

yes going to fleet, picking up the one hench mission, going to planet, doing mission, then going back to fleet, handing in hench mission, picking up kingpin mission, going back to planet, doing kingpin mission, then going back to fleet, turning in kingpin mission... is stupid. FFS I wouldnt mind getting some enjoyment out of events after i work a 10 hour day and have 3 hours tops to play at night Id prefer 1.5 of those hours not be travel to/from.. devs are aliens with no concept of real world time. MMOs seem to encourage humans to become worthless neckbeards who sit in front of a computer for 10 hours a day instead of it being a fun little pasttime and not completely dominating every moment of free time in your life.

for this reason i use my tank companions, or taunt pvp style even as a dps...i dont want the feelbadman from some lowbie dying to my 55 mob on hutta...

in beta chiss had an awesome /salute racial skill...which was for unknown reasons changed to a mission review... which is identical to rest basically.. so yeah.

If they were smarter, there would be 3 new huttball maps and an actual huttball league. its basically the best thing in pvp in this game and they have neglected it terribly.

As a healer i enjoy having smart jugg smashers on my team. They overextend to attract attention/get smashes on enemy heals, then intercede back or get rescued after forcing the opposing peelers out of position. But the majority of smashers (maras especially) do just overextend and outdistance heals more often than not, which can be frustrating when you see their bar go grey on the OPs window just when they need healing the most.

instead of speeders taking you to ACW and voidstar, a small clown car will pull up and 8 FTP PUG clowns will pile out and begin each WZ.

you clearly dont play many low level WZs. being FTP in and of itself does not make them bad at pvp. The fact that they invest no time or effort into the game makes them bad at pvp.
