  1. Hi everyone, I’m currently conflicted on an upcoming choice. Im RPing the honorable Mandalorian, and I know I’ve read somewhere that Shae prefers fighting alongside the Republic opposed to the Empire, my Mando would surely feel the same. She wants to honor Mandalore like a good Mando, but joining the Republic to become a saboteur feels dishonorable. Does anyone want to share their insights with me please? I’d love to hear some opinions. Thanks in advance
  2. Hi guys, Returning player here, getting quite desperate so I need some help. I picked ip my lvl 56 Juggernaut to do the Story Manaan FP for forged Alliances to advance the story. But I just can’t beat the 2nd boss. I remember getting a combat droid in story mode to help you a few years back, but it doesnt seem to spawn anymore. Can anyone point me to what im doing wrong? Thanks in advance
  3. For those of you that've played through Chapter 10 and took a look at Chapter 11's preview text, it clearly states that Havoc is fighting guerrilla on Zakuul and that you go and help them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we've seen Tanno so far, I've heard that Yuun is recruitable, so who do you expect to see on Zakuul? Jorgan is a given, cause he's in the picture, any thoughts about Dorne or 4X?
  4. Wait, so for you he actually left? Unusable as a Companion? I'm playing my Light V Sage and he just tends to approve everything I do, except when I wanted to recruit Kaliyo. If anyone replays it, look at the beginning how the camera pans toward Koth looking disappointed almost the entire scene, he's up to something that's for sure.
  5. To me, they almost appeared to be narrators. Or it might be a big wink to Obi-Wan and Yoda communicating after their deaths. Satele does appear to be on Odessen, so she might be just watching the Outlander. Why she wouldn't join us, that's the real question here though. It might weave in witht the fact that we're connected to Valkorion, and she senses this. I don't think that they're connected though. And now that Marr is dead I doubt we'll ever find out if he has any connection to Visas at all. It would've been more apparent if he were a Miraluka, now he appears as just a Sith who took her name. No connection to Satele, Revan or Bastila that I can tell.
  6. Yeah it does say that SB created her, yet I can't remember her commenting on that herself and her Holonet page seems to contradict it too, telling us she's been around even longer. I've also read somewhere that she hasn't had a memory wipe in 150 years. Can't remember exactly, but Koth talks about the Gravestone being buried for ' several centuries' so that contradics it too. And I can't figure about how becoming the Lady of Sorrows effectively gets her closer to Arcann.
  7. I can't get my head around the Gemini droid that reported to Arcann from the Eternal Fleet. We all saw how much that droid looked exactly like Scorpio, and we know how badly Scorpio wants control of the Gravestone. They must be connected, I just can't get my head around it. Could it have been that Scorpio was the captain or leader of the Gravestone, initially the best ship of the Eternal Fleet, designed to be the Fleet's superweapon with that omnicannon. Scorpio could have been away from her Gemini sisters ever since the Gravestone was hidden in the swamp. Anyone else got some theories on this?
  8. There's no real way to predict this. The Eternal Empire has taken the Empire and Republic down a notch due to guerilla tactics and I'd say 90% of their wins is thanks to the Eternal Fleet. If the Gravestone can take that down, and the fact that Zakuul has never been on the defensive as far as I know, there's quite a big chance at success.
  9. I've played it with my Sage Consular and Jugg Warrior and both felt great to be honest. My Consular would prefer to be more on the background, but considering the gravity of all that is happening, he feels he needs to get out of that comfort-zone and step up to be the hero everyone wants him to be. And defying Valky left and right trusting in the Force and your own powers works really well. My Warrior was loyal to the Emperor until he betrayed the Empire and he and Marr became the new superpowers in the galaxy. Him being thrown around occasionally feels out of place, but other than that I've been able to correct any assumptions the game throws at you. Valky says something about your loyalty to him as a Wrath, but the Warrior can correct him to say thats no longer the case.
  10. I know exactly what you mean buddy. I too believe that KOTFE is a great evolvement in TOR the only thing I can't shake is my old Companions. I know there's a chance to get them back, but a lot of us put a lot of time in those 5 very important beings that make your class what it is. I love the new Companions, but would really hate it to never see our old ones return, or worse, get them back without them evolving in the story ( Makeb and Shadow of Revan anyone?). But don't envy the people who instantly go to 60 without experiencing the rest, to many of us, this game and the stories it tells are a great way to entertain ourselves and each other. Don't envy someone who will never learn how Khem opens up to you, how in love you can fall with Mako, or how you can utterly hate Skadge.

    Vaylin

Well, she's mighty powerful, she makes Zhorrid look like a sane person, and like her father who's a bad guy her name ominously starts with a V as well. There's still too much we don't know and Bioware did it on purpose. So that either means that she dies being unimportant real soon ( Knights get your revenge!) or Valkorion will find a way to make her the new threat.
  12. Well, considering that there's also already a big chance that we're getting other 'subtle' references, I wouldnt be surprised. ( Eternal Fleet been around long before Zakuul and no one knows how it actually works, Reapers from ME anyone?). OT: Crazy theory, but not unthinkable for Bioware, and it would be damn awesome as a plot twist. But its sure to piss off way too many people too. It has an upside that it perfectly ties together all classes, even the age old discussion of how Smugglers can kill Sith just as easy as a Jedi can. I like it.
  13. Good question. For my Consular it was Satele, pretty sure its the same for the JK. The only other option would be the Emperor, and considering Valky is doing it to us, pretty sure that wont happen. Think the Smuggler's is Darmas ( not sure but would be logical) And the Hunter's might be Mandalore.
  14. Basically its just Revan and Kavar from KOTOR 2. And logically some of the Jedi Guardian characters of KOTOR 2, so that would be Brianna ( Handmaiden) and Bao-Dur.
  15. Wow, loving your Smuggler and Warrior ones. Brilliant. Now this is what I want to see!
  16. Okay first one - True, and nothing to bring up against. Second one - Also very true, yet as I stated in my first post, ' it is said'. Pure speculation as far we know. The Moff could have easily killed himself because Valkorion showed him the future (near) destruction of the Empire. Third one - Do we honestly know? He's seen on the ends of SW and SI story line, begin and ending Makeb and the end of Rishi/Yavin if I remember correctly. And as Valkorion said 'All my previous works are brought together'. Can we honestly say that his powerbase is not vast enough, because of his role? We haven't seen him THAT much. Fourth one - Hard to argue with, but how Immortal is Immortal? And as far as we know, he is not Immortal yet. What if he finds out how Vitiate becomes Immortal, uses us to kill Vitiate and use the secret for himself? Fifth one - Very true. But as we've been hinted, Zakuul is probably located in the Rishi Maze right? Still, you're quite right there. Thanks for commenting!
  17. Hello everyone, just thinking about Fallen Empire and can't get my head around that we have no idea who Valkorion is. How can someone who is such a major player in 5 years, be totally unbeknownst to us. So I let every character I've met in TOR pass me by and see who could fit the role. Now the only one that really strikes me as a possibility is one we all know. Seriously, what if Valkorion is Darth Marr? We all pretend we know Marr and what he's fighting for, but none of us have ever seen his face. We all expect a monstrosity, but that's just Sith speculation and paranoia. The only one with enough power right now would be Marr, and him leaving the Empire would hit it hard. He uses the Dark Side, but is also a more pragmatic Sith then some of ever-hungry idiots on the Dark Council. So tell me, is this in any way a possibility? Is this the big jaw opening moment we've been waiting for? Happy to hear from you guys.
  18. Ah, thanks. Never really listened to her thoroughly and hardly ever used her. Guess that mostly cancels her out for SI then.
  19. Hi guys, First time ever starting a thread ( yes really). Basically with the new Fallen Empire coming up this October, my mind is constantly thinking about what will happen to what I think is one of the best features of this game, Companions. We've been given quite some information about what's to come, albeit vague. The idea is that you can recruit Companions cross-class and possibly cross-faction. I kinda made my own wish list, and I'm curious if you guys have other ideas that you want to share. So here goes mine: JK - T7, Kira, Nadia, Jaesa ( LS), Ashara ( Jedi taskforce-like with Ashara and Jaesa as cross-overs) JC - Vector, Tharan, Zenith, Talos, Guss Tuno ( Really difficult, I imagined Guss finally changing into what he should be, slowly relearning to become a Jedi. The Consular is like a guy/gal who looks into mysteries and old lore, Talos will love it. Vector really doesn't suit anywhere right, but closest to his 'nature' might be JC). TR - Aric, Elara, 4X, Yuun, Iresso ( Basically, Havoc as it should, great like-minded soldiers) SM - Corso, Bowdaar, Risha, Vette, Gault, Andronikos ( A lot of Comps fit with the Smugg. Vette and Risha together again would be awesome, Gault and Andronikos would really fit a pirate-like Smuggler). SW - Scourge, Quinn, Pierce, Broonmark, Rusk ( Scourge, 2 Wraths is better then 1? And Rusk his ruthlessness could really be appreciated by the Warrior. Keeping Quinn btw . SI - Khem, Temple ( Sith), Xalek ( Temple's Sensitivity came to light and Nox is intriqued with the challenge to turn her in a true Sith). BH - Mako, Akaavi, Torian, Blizz, Qyzen ( Akaavi and Torian might not mix well, still both Mando's, Qyzen should always have been with the Hunter, Team Awesome right here). IA - Kaliyo, Temple, Scorpio, Tanno Vik, Doc ( Tanno gets caught by the Empire for one of his 'side-jobs' and they care little for his recklessness as long as he does the job right, which we know he does. Kaliyo convinces Doc to sign on together again, he can't resist, the rest stays (surprisingly) loyal. So there you go, some have left, a lot have switched. Curious what you guys think about it. Also really curious to see other suggestions. Thanks for reading, and lets hear it!
  20. Alright, since some of you have already given it a go, my turn. First off, I'd like to think it was Valkorion who orchestrated it, and despite the different reasons, bringing ' the Great Eight' together in carbonite. Jedi Knight - Distress Call from Grandmaster Satele that she is captured by an unidentified group of Mando's. Once the Knight arrives, its a trap ( yeah, on purpose)! Valkorion's new elite freeze the Knight in carbonite. Smuggler - Risha tells the smuggler there is some new super-suit on Quesh that makes him/her invincible or can be sold for a load of credits (whatever makes 'em tick). While on Quesh, Risha traps the Smuggler in a freezing chamber, being told by Valkorion that the Smuggler is suffering the same disease her father had, and only way to save him/her is to freeze 'em. Trooper - Havoc's expertise is needed on a far Outer Rim planet where the orbit is toxic, traveling down with a shuttle would kill them on instant, so the only way is to temporarily freeze them in carbonite. Obviously this is a lie and Arcann is waiting on the planet to keep them trapped in the carbonite. Consular - Receives a message from Hallow Voice back on Belsavis that the Imps found some mighty Rakatan superweapon, this actually appears to be true ( we know Bioware will make it work). The only way for them to stop it is to freeze the entire chamber through an emergency button. Ofcourse one of Valkorion's agents told this to the Imps. Warrior - Being the Wrath of the Empire, a few of Dark Councillors fear his allegiance to the Emperor. They team up to arrest him, but also decide he is too valuable to just kill. They freeze him, get ambushed by Arcann and taken to Valkorion. Inquisitor - Contacted by Valkorion himself about his ambitions, since he's one of the few who began with nothing and became strong. Telling him that his ambition can make him immortal much as he/she craves. For this however, his body needs to be prepared before it can be immortal. To do this he needs to be frozen in carbonite. Nox makes a threat to Valkorion, Imperius tells him that the Empire will need him back soon, so gets frozen. Hunter - Biggest bounty yet makes his way to Hutta and the Hunter pursuits it to one of the Hutt's palaces where the bounty accidentily freezes everyone in carbonite while trying to escape. Arcann sabotaged the device and places the bounty on the creature. Agent - Jadus ( or one of his old agents) betray Cipher's identity to the galaxy. His Cipher status is revoked by Keeper and called back to Intelligence HQ. Lana decides that the only way the Agent can be used again is to kill him/her. They plant a fake body and order him to be carbonized for a year. In this year, the Agent is stolen by Valkorion's Elite.
  21. First off, I like the theory, but not sure you trolling or not. What Traya wanted is different though. Death of the Force, yes, but she hated the Force because it controlled her and events in the galaxy. She wanted freedom in a sense, uncontrolled by an omni-potent Force that none could stand against. In a way, Traya simply wants to lose her power, where Vitiate wants it all for himself. Thats the big difference. If anything, the Star Cabal would be a fruit of her teachings more than Vitiate.
  22. Hey guys, just a question. I'd like to hear your thoughts on Lokin. Going for my first Agent run and just wanna make it feel as awesome as possible. Currently playing the highly effective, dark Agent who is in favor with Kaliyo with everything she does. Flirting with every man in every port. Kaliyo feels like my long, lost, but weird sister. I'm a Medicine Op. Kaliyo suits me fine and I like her. But as I'm about to leave Alderaan, and my affection with Kaliyo is gonna max soon. So I'm looking forward to new companions. Vector Hyllus doesn't really suit my ****** girl agent, and heard his DPS is quite average, or am I wrong? So I'm more curious about Lokin despite being a healer as well, heard he's awesome as a companion, both in personality and combat. But never really heard how he is as a DPS? His rakghoul-form. Awesome or not? Please let me hear what you think about him, or any of the other companions?! Thanks and good gaming!

  24. They can read the minds of weaker minds. Usually those who are Force-Sensitive, or strong-willed, won't allow people to have their thoughts being read of persuaded. Especially when you're trying to hide something. Its not like you can hear their thoughts going: " OH MY WE'RE IN LOVE, LETS HOPE NO ONE FINDS OUT", as they walk by the Masters. Ofcourse, the right thing is if one of the Masters would confront them. However the Masters feared they would drive them into a corner which would only allow dark emotions to evolve. So they send you, the new hope ( see what I did there..) and think that you can convince them, or prove your worth as a rolemodel. Not the best strategy, yet it can be effective.
