  1. The more I think about it, the more I think that Valky is NOT hanging around in your mind. He's talking to your toon, but he has not, nor never, taken up residence. HK-55, for instance, knows your brainwave form is still on a baseline (provided by Dr. O/Lana during his various incarnations) with no interference from another lifeform. Valky knew what was going on about the universe when you were completely unaware, frozen in carbonite. You aren't crucial... but you are a piece that can be moved on the board that has a higher chance of being motivated. There are lots of little moments in the arcs that pretty much point out that Valky isn't directly IN your mind, just talking to it. Which raises a lot of questions if Vity and Valky are, indeed, the same life-essence.
  2. I'm... actually kinda of split. Normally, I'm against reopening any time-gated rewards... ...but I have a different feeling for the "loser" companion in this event (perhaps because I've ground it so hard, and mentally prepared myself for either toon). That, and I'm on an alt account that does not have the Party Jawa, and I'm rethinking (still coming to the same conclusions, just smaller margins) about the whole "why is this account of mine different from that one?" (Other than "I didn't want to pay for more accounts after character server slots opened up way back when.")
  3. She's also another prodigy on par with your toon... so, she's up there with the JC/JK/SI/SW in terms of shear potential. So, she's likely a match for V's kids, assuming training/etc; her connection to the JC is strong, but she's also another torch in a galaxy of matchsticks.
  4. It isn't unstoppable. Several times you see how close the plot armor is to being worn away. It is just a fairly tough little corvette, a pocket battleship of lore. It isn't invincible... tis the US Constitution of SWToR. So, you know. Big enough fleet/ship when it doesn't have that plot armor, and kablewy. I also object to it being labeled as alien. Tis ancient, not necessarily alien. Just because the yokels on Zakuul didn't build it, doesn't mean we do not have a clue who slapped it together.
  5. Where on the Dulfy site do you see this? (Curious, as I see the schedule from last spring on the side, not current events) Edit: found it.
  6. Eh, minor point, but the DvL event does require you to have been subbed at one point (Eternal requires lvl 65) during the KoTFE timeframe.
  7. So, a group of people raised in isolation, told to control all their emotions, and that relationships (other than 'hit it and quit it') are bad have need for emotional coping skills? Same said people all happen to also be unstoppable murder machines, and led by a bunch of other similarly shut-in emotional shunts who exploit and perpetuate the system in a quasi-religious militant order... You don't say. On a similar note, I'm shocked that there is gambling at Rick's Casino. Shocked I say, shocked.
  8. Space content a la JTL. A minimum of a "force sensitive" style story with a "non-force sensitive" alternate.
  9. Necromunging 101 is supposed to be held in the atrium, or off-topic, and not in the general lore forum.
  10. The question will be "...who is not killing Skage? Is that a super rare achievement?"
  11. Skadge's total also went up by about fifty points... ...which are in a hidden state. Suddenly, I have an urge to get my pre-DVL BH beyond Chapter IX.
  12. A bit of a necro there, man. FYI, you can get that gear back by going to the companion page... there's a "reclaim equipped gear" button on the screen. Kinda small and hard to see, but it is there.
  13. Khem isn't hard. Just have his visitor find a different host, or same host find a certain object that is drifting in space/etc, and the visitor takes the host forward. Khem ends back up where he started, both ways. You could even find Khem hunting down the Host as part of the alert. It doesn't matter if if the Host became the host via a bad-luck drifter finding a certain object, or the visitor willingly shifted out for a replacement, Khem would still end up in Khem looking to eat the Host.
  14. Also remember, Korriban/Tython just had the stuffing kicked out of them during the Revan campaign. A visit by the Eternal Fleet is just another set of marauders in some already fairly trashed systems.
  15. "Subscribe by Sept. 1st, and get a Purple Fur lined Vaylin! Yellow Leather on Oct 1st! Have all of Zorro (the Gay Blade's) themed Vaylin-esque outfits on Nov 1st!" Sorry, I just had this image of successive outfits that fit a themed companion... and the only way to get all the outfits was for a six month sub/etc. (Which is exactly against what you were saying, just something about the purple furred tauntaun triggered my mental mind's proclivities to conflagrate).
  16. Pretty much this, and to all of Aowin's posts. Heh; I remember running Hutta ad nauseum during one of the beta runs... those intro worlds (up to the capitols) were pretty solidly tested. I don't remember a single FP (outside of Esseles and Black Talon... I even remember thinking "good, hate organizing raids"). And, I came from SWG/CoH (primarily).
  17. Super, super high. Higher than a crackhead who is two days into a three day bender high. May it be Quinn (and I'll work all my SWs through the alerts to get there).
  18. I see a fellow scots or scots-descent amongst our group. OP, wait for the Kel Dor... the Kel Dor language is Scots Gael backwards, and that particular battle should be in relation to something that happens with the Kel Dor homeworld, IMHO. (so, instead of "ciamar a ta thu" or "ciamar a tha sibh" a Kel Dor would say "ramaic a at ut" or "ramaic a at bis" for hello. So, the songs about Scots and scots-related events really belong to the Kel Dor)
  19. You know, I have one, and never got around to killing Jawas. ...I don't even remember where they spawn in a killable state on Tat.
  20. Simple soldiers aren't given command of a warship in an active combat situation. Every last thing we see about Zakuul shows FS types in command (although, the vast majority of the population are NOT FS, and are basically self-satisfied non-working layabouts), especially in the law-enforcement and military command roles. The only non-FS types we see in the military are the droid-trooper group... IE, if they command organics, they are FS. If they command inorganics, they are not FS. I kinda assumed it was sort of unmentioned, but that he was an FS person, if not a Scion, Exemplar, or Knight, due to the very fact he was in command of a group of Zakuul troopers. At no point did I think he was a "simple soldier," I assumed a long con ("this persona is how I'll get you to underestimate me" type of approach).
  21. It comes down to ZIost. We need to know what was so formative about the Feeding on Ziost; everything else is in flux until we get a solid handle on that.
  22. Given that *all* the Zakuul leadership we've seen is force-sensative and given that he was in command of a star cruiser... ...does that surprise you?
  23. From the start when it was mentioned that there were THREE children, not just two. It was obvious that she was either 1. the one that helps you overthrow the other two -or- 2. the hidden, more powerful, threat. As soon as you see Thexan hit the mat, that left with option #2: Vaylin Strikes Heaviest.
