Apparently same thing happening to me. Random naked companions that aren't on any nearby hooks just appearing.
-
Vette and Gault have appeared in my Nar Shaddaa stronghold and there doesn't seem to be any way to remove them. I couldn't find a hook on which they're placed, at least nothing in the room and general area where they appear.
Any help in expunging them would be appreciated.

It is over, there can't be enough cash flow left to keep the lights on.
My bet is the servers are closed by Dec.
... not quite. There's an interesting chart in this Forbes article, published 7 days ago.
-
That might be what they're doing, yeah it does seem counterintuitive but it seems like it'd work, thanks!
Rotate your ship with the A/D keys so that the target is directly at your 12 o'clock.
Pitch turn speed is faster than yaw.
Good luck

Considering the state of the pvp scene on most all servers that are not Bastion/Pot5... Yeah, not surprised. Good work on the statistic thoughI really expected a bigger population to pull from. 10k playersis kind of dismal for an MMO.Im also sure a decent portion of the players who comprise this list have multiple toons . So that would mean that the number of actual subscribing users who do arenas is less than 10k.
I just hope BW don't see that as an underlying lack of interest in PvP from the community at large and continue ignoring the issues that actually prevent many from enjoying themselves in it.

Your obviously new to this MMO PvP thing. Players have been saying the above for the last two years and for every other MMO they get the ***** with and leave.
Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out.
This very same attitude saw the mass exodus of huge chunks of the pvp scene in the big early patches. But sure, lets continue telling everyone who doesn't like it to leave, by no means could it ever be made better

I should also add that for the 95% (my guess) of sins/shadows it wont make a lot of difference but the good ones are going to cause so much rage
Soo... Absolutely nothing will change? Gotcha.

Normal WZ experience for me:
Shadow ~300k damage dealt on average, in rare cases reaching up to 550-600k.
Sniper ~700k+ damage dealt.
Normal Arena experience so far:
For both classes anywhere between 300 and 1k (and slightly above) dps, varying greatly from game to game, with the key factors being enemy focus order and team compositions for both (and likely gear for the enemy).
Apologies for the confusion

700k in an arena?
I don't play ranked, Progenitor is about dead for that, and normal arenas I haven't had enough of to see a clear trend, as my mileage so far has varied greatly - I've had 1k dps on the shadow, and I've had 400.

Not liking your numbers? Perform better. Make sure your gear is properly optimized, watch and/or read other player's guides about your class to make sure you're not leaving something important out of your toolkit or making other rookie mistakes.
Still not liking your numbers? Roll a different class. I average 300k dmg dealt on my shadow, and upwards of 700k on my sniper with half the effort. Personal preference.

you're right, i already won a long time ago. solo is for bads or bored good people. 4s is the only thing that matters. you are a low rated challenger who suffers from dunning-kruger.

While the small population is a key factor here, the ELO system was never designed for group play. This is indeed not a debate, your opinion is flat out wrong, please read on the topic before spouting nonsense and insults.

I've yet to see a working Dark Maul, and by that I mean bringing survivability of tank and similar dmg output as a proper dps. Feel free to link me any such examples, because all I've seen so far (and tested for myself), it's an overall subpar spec that doesn't do anything better, or at least good enough to justify the hassle.

Edit: Whoosh to the right section.

All I remember about when pre season came out was the huge exodus of pvpers who left after its release. So many people dissapointed at what competetive pvp was like in this game, once it was established.
Which was nothing compared to the mass exodus that occurred after they pulled Ranked the night before the patch. Good times...

Or The Lost Praxeum, awesome bunch if you're aiming for Jedi RP

It is quite enjoyable to enter regs in full glass-cannon build (16% armor mitigation) and explode people. Every once in a while you run into those who know how to smack you in the face for it, but that's not too often to ruin my fun

I would be happy to insta-kill the target of my leap, but only if BW remove its cooldown first. It's only fair, after all.Leap should just insta kill whoever was the target of the leap. -
Oh please, the emote will pop on GTN few days after release for reasonable prices (like everything else does) and then you can simply unlock it in collections. People crying about how much they want it will actually drive the GTN prices up (supply and demand, look it up).
It really depends on how rare they are. On the Progenitor both /backflip and /flourish first came out at around 150k+, and their price only increased with time.
The Portable Relaxation unit came out at around 300k and quickly spiked to 1mil, and hasn't dropped since.

Used to run hybrid shadow, noticed the same thing as OP.

Yeah, and my wife thought archaeology was boring in WoW -this was boring and they made it worse lol
I used to hate it back when I played the game, but the seeker droids actually make me yearn for it...
Also, posted in the bug reports section here, but I guess everything is working as intended.

Go to Alderaan, check that there's still treasure - it's there.
Start digging, can't find anything for 6 consecutive digs with the smaller boost. After the sixth, the guidelines disappear, telling me to reposition.
I proceed to reposition, and it can't find anything, anywhere, in the entire zone. Macrobinoculars mark it as there still being treasure, seeker droid still active.
Travel to Outlaw's Den, find two crates with mats after 4-5 attempts, and one grey garbage (either I have no luck today, or BW increased the difficulty significantly). After that I spend several attempts to dig out something, and the previous scenario replicates. Green pointer disappears, advising me to reposition. Roamed the entire zone, can't detect a single item. Macrobinoculars show that treasure has not been taken, no notification in chat saying otherwise, seeker droid still active...

- tank/healer combos are op. Hard cap the total guarded damage at 50% (skill debuffs, taunts, guard) and decrease by 10% per meter distance (10% at 5m). Currently its too easy for a guard to debuff and lolstomp most dps that hits his partner.
Problem solved. Cross healing debuffed. Unstoppable duo debuffed.
But your dps still needs to be competent.
Numbers need some tweaking, but I'd love to see this implemented. Even only the range mechanic will make a substantial difference,

I recently (yesterday) lost a match with Alderaan - 4 imperial healers - 2 Mercenaries, 4 ... Sorcerers ? Or what is the right term for them ? - being accompanied by a few more Bounty Hunters, and 2 Assassins, of which 1 was defending one cannon - the rest was in the middle.
2+4+a few more+2 =/= 8
Just how many were there in that wz

Had a game where a guardian and scoundrel combo assaulted our pylon every round. We won (by taking theirs), but needless to say it was a blasted pain to deal with. The combination of guard, taunts and leaps... Ugh.
Vibroblade + Lightsaber still bugged

Tested it out this morning with all four combinations, using the Classic Vibrosword and Classic Lightweight Vibrosword, respectively.
Lightsaber MH + Lightsaber OH = Dual-Wielding stance
Lightsaber MH + Vibrosword OH = One-Handed stance
