  1. Hello all, Quick question regarding the pyrotech tree for mercs in pvp. I am currently arsenal spec'd and have begun to almost pvp exclusively due to time restraints, which (after a little research) has led me to think that I should respec to pyro in order to increase my viability in matches. Is this the right move? Everyone I ask insists that arsenal is terrible compared to pyro for pvp. If this is the case and I should indeed switch, what would my talent tree look like? I'm not that versed in pyrotech rotations so any help would be appreciated. Lastly, assuming I have the correct talents, what would my standard opening be against an opponent in pvp. I doubt it would the same as arsenal currently is (2-3 tracer missles, unload then railshot). Thanks for your time!
  2. Point #'s 4 and 5 are really important, especially the guild purpose. I'm scared that they will turn world PvP into some dumb-downed version due to the limits of the Hero engine not being able to support too many players on screen at once.
  3. A few endgame ideas that would really add to SWTOR in big ways: - Pod/Swoop racing: The ability to buy entry level pods and upgrade them in various ways (both looks and performance). This idea would involve server-wide races containing only the top players, who were chosen by means of bracket style racing, competing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The races would be "televised" for all to watch in the cantinas or fleets. The idea could be taken further by implementing these races by means of the Hutt Cartel regulating them and taking bets from real players for the outcome. The winners would receive the proceeds according to their final ranking in the race. In addition to the server wide races, there could be an option for anyone who owns a pod/swoop bike to practice in races against others for trials. Queing for these races would be similar to when we que for warzones. - Pazaak: These games could be implemented by means of a mini game within SWTOR. You go into cantinas and sit down with others to begin the game. Again, real credits could be bet on the games. The possibility of tournaments also exists here. - Improved Space Experience: Already mentioned by developers, not sure if it will remain now that SWTOR will be going F2P. Allow us to fly freely in space with our ships, take the rails away. Could be improved by allowing some sort of space PvP and/or live events involving mass attacks/defenses of certain space stations or planets.Allow a much greater level of customization with our ships, including swapping color scheme's, perhaps different packages offered for each ship (defense package, offensive package, etc...). Got other ideas? Add yours in the comments below! Try to focus on endgame activities only (this is the part of the game that needs desperate attention right now), not just things you would like to see added to SWTOR in general.
  4. From what I heard, larger vehicles created more lag in the fleets. Not sure if it's correct or not, but it would make sense. I've also heard that making those vehicles go away in 1.2 created a money-sink for players who wanted to buy them before they disappeared.
  5. I believe the game goes free to play till level 15 in July, which is almost here. May be level 20 not sure.
  6. Wouldn't post-1.2 purples with augment slots be the same as normal orange gear with augment slots? Now that you can remove the mods in end game purples and augment them in 1.3...is there any point to getting an orange version of it?
  7. Just because it is to you doesn't mean it is to everyone else lol...
  8. My number one complaint with this event was how the companion customizations were handled. I spent just over 1000 DNA samples and couldn't get my companion's customization. I did, however, get 11 Corso Riggs and 8 Kira Carsen's...please don't use the RNG system for an event like this again...ever. Other than that the event was amazing and I had a lot of fun with its various aspects.
  9. /bump I have just finished spending 1000 DNA samples at the vendor while trying to get mako's customization. I ended up never receiving it, yet getting Corso riggs 11 times and Elara Dorn 9...thank you for this well thought-out system. /sarcasm
  10. Trading would be awesome...I'm not sure why Bioware chose this damn RNG system...
  11. /bump I've spent well over 300 DNA Samples trying to get mako...I have every other companion in the game and have received Corso Riggs 7 times.
  12. I was just asking if it was a known bug or if it was designed that way... Calm the hell down.
  13. When will the BH ship engine bug be corrected? It has been bothering me since launch! http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=426915
  14. I've noticed something from the first day I got the ship and it has been bothering me ever since (4 months now). When you enter your ship, go upstairs and head towards the cockpit. Before you get there, however, you must pass through the engine room (Blizz should be below you). Stop here. Look on both your left and right sides to see pipes of some sort for the engine. There are 3 plates floating in mid air and attached to nothing positioned around these two pipes. Shouldn't these plates be rotating or moving or something? Just floating in mid air seems odd to me. I'm not sure if it's a bug or it's just intended to be that way... Anyone else ever bothered by it? PS: With that issue aside I just wanted to say that I love everything else about the ship!
  15. Ah...weird. Wonder why everyone is freaking out about it lol.
