I'm sure I've seen this brought up before, but with the (mildly) better dev communication, and some focus on some QoL thing, I think it bears repeating. I always roll my eyes a little bit when load into my characters and read a story update about saving the planet Makeb and the returning of attention to a war with the Republic. Doesn't anyone find it a bit embarrassing that something as simple as a splash screen has gotten updated since 2 full expansions ago? Rise of the Hutt Cartel was released in April 2013, over 4 years ago. I'm not saying we need incremental updated statuses for each part of the story like it was in the individual stories, but a general update for each expansion or at least something that catches us up to Post-KoTET would be really refreshing.

I believe there is a customization for him the dumps the hood. I think it's the Ilum security key vendor on the Ilum station.

I see what your saying, that would definitely be a better option, I didn't think about it like that. That being said it could be it was never set up in a manner like that (i.e. a simple and straightforward way) in first place and is to difficult to re-code now, especially since you never know how seemingly innocuous changes can effect other systems. Otherwise why not make the relatively simple change to the max stack/ObjectStack size and find a way to monetize it? They could have made it so only subs could have stacks over 99 or it was an unlock form the cartel market, then price it out to be worth the lost revenue from additional bank tabs.

I don't want to say that this is exactly what the case is but as a programmer my first thought is that it really might be a technical limitation. The stack of resources would be stored in a stucture, like a stack, array, or a linked list. Each entry in that list, a single piece of the Ingame resource, would be stored as a object defined in code. Each object takes up a set amount of space because each object has a set of attributes that have to be stored within it, like a name, rarity, picture, etc. More objects, even duplicates of the same ones, means more memory or space taken up. The limitation could exist within either the structure or within the system as a whole. Some storage stucture can only handle so much data before they start throwing errors. This could also happen with the system if the single storage structures take up more space then they are defined for. Either way it could also cause problems for the ui since everytime you open up your inventory or bank, it has to retrieve that structure from the server (since it would dump the structure with the object when 8t closes to open up memory ). Larger stucture take longer to retrieve, therefore more lag when you open inventories or banks. Like I said I could be wrong, I know absolutely nothing about how Swtor is coded, but just some thoughts.

I just finished opening up all the map of Balmorra for the Republic side (no more hexes on the entire map of Balmorra) and it wont complete the achievement. All the entries are green and checked in the legacy menu and there is just an empty space under the achievement header for the achievement tracker. This is in turn then keeping me from getting the Explorer of the Galaxy achievement since Republic Balmorra was the last thing I needed. Anyone know of a work around?

Was originally Eahi on Wanderhome. Started a few days after the NGE with an IRL friend (IGN Ettere), we met a guy (IGN Dogmeat) and started the Imperial Pilots guild. We were never very big but as far as I can remember we were pretty well known throughout the Space community. When the free server transfers came around we picked up and moved to Starsider.
