Try pressing the n-key and selecting a companion, it should reactivate the display.

I had this same problem on this quest. I sat on it for a while and continued to play, raised Aric's affection through a few gifts in the meantime - I use Elara so no playtime increases for Aric. When I finally tried to do something with the loose end I reset the quest and had no effect. Finally I abandoned it while on my ship in Aric's room. Immediately he had the quest available triangle and I was taken back through the dialogue and I was able to complete the quest step. Currently Aric is around the 6000 affection level for me, I was 50 but hadn't finished the class quest yet. I did this maybe sometime last week as far as timing if there had been any patches since you tried.

That set does have a helmet. It's got the large buggy looking eyes.

That appears to be the level 49 required Armormech crafted gear.

I have indeed tried unlocking it and resizing using the lower right corner. It pushes the window into a column or row orientation but still remains showing the same number of slots, even though empty.

Is there also a way to get rid of the operation panel when the party is smaller than 16 people? Just as this video appears to have achieved. I have tried using the hide operation frame in the user interface section and it seems to have zero effect. It is annoying to have a large area of screen filled with the panel when there are only 4 to 8 party members.

Having just hit 50 I opened my 6 bags but no drops. Looking at the eliminator set, should I consider using it for pve as well? Centurion is a slight upgrade over my level 49 crafted blues. Also, does the set bonus apply if one uses different levels of gear, cent, champ, BM?

A newbie pvp question to go along with this progression: can someone educate me on the different commendations and how they are acquired? I pvp'd for the first time yesterday and have base war zone commendations. How / when do I acquire the better currency?

At level 46 I am also interested in the progression towards Iron Fist. I centre around PVE and have been finding myself getting increasingly squishy for Elites at 46 on the full assualt build (0/6/31 so far). I am really enjoying the cooldown reset on HIB and wonder, Taugrim, whether there is a way to maintain the assault synergies with the HIB reset while building the survivability of Iron Fist in the Shield tree. I am not sure the Carolina Parakeet build matches the Iron Fist up the shield tree. Can it be done, or is Iron First really keyed on utilizing the added mitigation from the Tactics tree to work so well?

I'm level 46 currently and have recently switched from Full Tactics to Full Assault spec. (0/6/ 31 to date). I am also finding that I have to very carefully plan for Elites. I have been using plasma cell, perhaps I should try this build with ion cell for elites to see if it goes any better I am tempted to try Taugrim's Iron Fist spec (25/14/2) for some increased mitigation for PVE but I am enjoying the cooldown reset on HIB. Perhaps the Carolina Parakeet build (21/2/18) would work but I am not sure if that takes advantage of the Iron fist survivability skills.

Thank you Taugrim for your blog and videos. I am still working on hitting 50 so I can Give your Iron Fist spec a shot. One question, I see you do a lot of jumping. Aside from getting LOS over a ridge is there a specific reason for it?

Looking at Torhead and Fire Pulse at the top of the Tactics tree I am having trouble seeing how it is so good compared to other attacks. What am I missing?
