They had a chance to do something cool and ground breaking in the MMO space, and instead did something akin to WoW's class homogenization, and negated character and class uniqueness in favor of catering to casuals. You keep saying "we've known this for 6 months." Well, not everyone spends all their time in PTS. The way they worded everything and the way it was presented in the developer talks absolutely made it sound like we were enhancing our base class, not just switching classes. This is not an enhancement at all, it's strictly keeping the same visual toon you have already created, and applying another class to it. I guess if you aren't into alts but still wanted another class, this is for you, but that's an extremely niche group. What it really is is free stealth to all non-stealth classes. Most of my toons will literally have one item on their second class action bars: stealth. Then switch back to the class I made for that character from day one.

They also deleted all abilities off of Quickbars 5 and 6,which means recreating those. For me, on some characters, that means completely starting over as I have to look at everything in the abilities window and character sheet and see what's missing. I would have thought a 2 month delay would have been enough extra time to address stuff like this.

I thought it was face and hair only? Maybe skin color? That said I haven't touched Wow since TOR beta started.

This post lacks any experience or education. Just look at what other games have done for the same feature. I'd start with WoW, since it's the obvious trendsetter. Real world money to change, race/species allowed, having a subscription gives you no benefit. I am happy they are doing this. The only thing I am unhappy about with the cartel market are the Purple and White Crystals after many of us dropped so much money and time to get them way back in the day, and Cartel Coin only reputation. Past that, whatevah.

I do this all the time. You need to look into Innerspace and ISBoxer. It's what most multi-boxers use to do this.

This nails it. You want a service, pay for it. I don't cater to people that don't pay at my job, nor do I do things for free in the present or future just because someone paid me to do something in the past. To me it's like going to McDonalds and asking for a coke because you bought a hamburger last week and had to wait in line to get it.
