  1. The point is that it's a bit much for the subscribers that can play during these hours are punished 3 times in a row is a bit much. Now I myself live on PDT, don't even play this game anymore but resubscribed to see the changes and patch and etc, and have only been able to get on to play for about a total of 2 hours due to all the down time. It sucks and I feel for the Oceanic guys but it's no loss to me as It just means the game and BW is still garbage. (Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed all of BW's games so far and even this game for about 3 months) I'm gonna just go back to playing TERA. Makes me a little sad is all, as I wanted this game to be good and last. Very unfortunate.
  2. Red- says "forbidden to light 1 and above" Blue- says "forbidden to Dark 1 and above" Green- Says the same as above. Orange and yellow have no such restrictions. But as I said, Light sabers themselves do not have a "light" or "dark" requirement, at least none that I have seen yet at least, just the color crystals in them. And in case that is not clear, the color crystal is the modification slot that has a color crystal in it, which in turn changes the color of your saber depending on the crystal. But by having the "wrong" alignment crystal, does not make the saber "not function" or work or usable. Unless all this time I've been thinking you are using a modifiable light saber....and if you are not.....you have alot more to learn then I thought and you may wish to browse the new player guides...
  3. Wrong forum maybe, and perhaps a silly question. As far as I know, Light sabers themselves are not restricted to Light or Dark but only the color crystal in them, and even then as far as I know once the crystal is in it ( IE- if you buy a saber from a Comm. vendor ) until you remove it and try to reinsert it, it just simply will not let you. PS- for crafting needs maybe the Crew skills forum may be a better choice, or the server forums but they are a bit lack luster and may not yield anything.
  4. I need not say more. This is what I was seeing and finding for myself as well.
  5. I never said it was impossible. I only said that the class is the most broken out of the other classes and needs to be looked at and hasn't since the Force push patch. That's all. Only making an observation, stating my opinion and asking harmless questions that seem to have offended you and put you into a nerd rage. Must be that time of month or something, because you are irrationally jumping to conclusions and looking for a fight.
  6. Sounds like someones mad. Cause ya know, it's all about the PVPer's rigt? There is no other type of game play right? Go back to CoD and that other garbage games kid. If you even read what you quoted I said it was useful in PvP but hardly and if only situational in PvE. It's like the nerd rage just made you become American and just straight out become defensive of your play style over mine like you are somehow better then me.
  7. Ranged has always had an unfair advantage in every MMO I've ever played. Melee, warriors in pertidular have always gotten the short end of the stick and always been the underdog, not just melee in general.
  8. Whoa, weird. The way they played it out was as if it was several buffs to several abilities. That's interesting.
  9. That was quite a few patches ago and really could have done with out it. Only useful in PVP and situational in PvE and almost not at all in Ops.
  10. So, I see they gave Mara's some love in the patch on the PTR and I cannot help but feel.... jealous and a little annoyed at their lack of attention to the MOST broken class in the game. Same goes for the Guardian our mirror republic scum class. I'm just curious about something. Is it just me and correct me if I am wrong, but adding something like "also add's 4/8/10% threat" to the Heavy Handed talent, or adding high threat to sweeping strikes? Is the coding hard or something? Because looking at the class changes they made in this patch seem like more work would be involed in that then simply adding threat to sweeping strikes, which would not solve everything, but imo it would be a large boon. Edit: Here's the link to the PTR patch http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=2419221#edit2419221
  11. This! Good fix till the other CS's get fix'd. Although we all know that biochems would charge some ridiculousness amounts of money for them, at first. and people would buy into it, at first.
  12. In the end, you are comparing TOR to WoW still...apples to oranges my friend. Time to get over or go back to it, or at least be productive and constructive in your QQing. Man the **** up!
  13. Something I was surprised no one mentioned is why the "tank" talent tree has no real threat talents aside from Backhand? I thought this was weird when I first started playing having played pretty much every MMO out there at least for a month or two. So my suggestions are simple and in my mind would have little to no ramification in PVP. Heavy Hand: add a 2/4/6% threat increase to the abilities it affects. Thrown Gauntlet: make this ability effect Taunt and/or Backhand. ( might be a bit off-balance for backhand in PVP but what's 7.5 seconds from 60? Still too high imo but it's something) Only other suggestion I have, and really this one in of itself would solve a lot of the AOE threat problems. Make a talent in the tree around the third tier, to either give Sweeping strikes or Smash a "moderate" amount of threat. Something around like 60% of what Backhand does. Not suggestion like what WoW did for thunderclap, but something that at least enables you to jump into the pull, hold it long enough so that healer threat or a passive threat wont pull off you right away unless a DPS was targeting it, but would give them at least 3-5 seconds of dumping DPS on them before they pull off of you. There has to be a nice middle ground from what (most) are used to from WoW tanking to what it is now. I enjoy the more skillful, adrenalin pumping tanking that we have but I'd like to see something done to just give us an on-par feeling to the other tanks and make life just a wee-bit less stressful.
