Sorcs have a decent tool set to get away from melee classes. Mercs have only a meager set of escape tools to get heals off. Sorcs are easier to kill than operative healers yes but to me, mercs are the easiest.

I don't play a healer so let me first say that. I was asking the OP what exactly makes a sorc second rate because I think they are good where they are. From my point of view (concealment) mercs are the easiest healer in the game to kill.

What class do you play? I am curious because I had a 5.5k crit today on HS and then at least another 2.5k from acid blade. Putting two points in KI makes it possible to heal in an emergency. In fact many ops are dropping slip away in order to get that 2 sec heal and T/A.

What exactly was inaccurate? In combination with acid blade, hidden strike and backstab are two very hard hitting attacks. Assassins can "shield" tech damage no one else can.

You have to be full BM to survive any competent and geared dps class in pvp. Make friends with an op/sniper. My operative cuts down hordes of maras as easy as me mowing my grass.

I know what you are saying but bubbles count as heals and they are hugely important. (Especially if they are mezz talented) Yes KI casts faster but Sorcs do have multiple ways to gain distance on opponents where Ops do not. In my opinion op healers might be slightly over tuned; but mercs are the second-rate healers.

How about you transfer like everyone else? I don't see any real benefit to not transferring.

Have you ever stopped to consider that many many people were unable to PvP for MONTHS? There were people who last got a queue while playing the champion loot bag lottery. Now, compared to someone in full Warlord gear they would appear to suck. Go reroll on Prophecy or Fatman and see how it feels to be completely out geared. I am guessing in a few weeks you will love rolling these groups in rateds am I right?

How are Sorc healers second rate? I don't play a healer so I have no dog in this fight. I can see the argument that operatives have a very nice pvp tool set. However, they really lack any form of burst healing and they don't have a bubble to put on other people. I also consider Sorc AoE healing to be superior. If your complaint is based on their survivability in pvp rest assured that is getting nerfed with losing 6% self healing.

Yes, it's true, I am his wife and I quit for these reasons. PvPing was fun until 50... Getting rolled is hard enough, getting 0 Comms and getting rolled is insufferable. I though they were making it a little easier for fresh 50's to PvP, but the disparity between BM/WH and Recruits will widen, with the implemented "winner takes all" system. Trickle down??

I was also having that problem. I spent the money on grade 3 upgrades, and now when I see the missile bay/ship for the objective, I hold down the left mouse key while spamming missiles into the whole thing. We only get two passes to take down that missile bay and the two generators. (Which is at the very tail end of the flight) As soon as my target lights up RED I unload on them. Having the grade three missile upgrade helped me tremendously, as it added a fair amount of missiles...more for the spamfest. And make sure you are cashing in on those space commendations. The vendors are in the Galactic Trade Network area, next to the light side vendors. Hope this helps! p.s. once I figured out how to do this one...it became my favorite

I have a friend who turns Ops chat off. There is a toggle button at the top of the screen for it. He only reads guild chat. Solves his problems.
