Yes all these builds are "Examples" of what you could run. I did not choose the "BEST" of each builds talents, I chose different talents in each build so I could cover them in the guide and put some context to it. With Lightning storm, I never use that, you just have to spend 1 talent into that to get forked lightning. the 0/13/28 is by far the best damager, but the 0/23/18 is just fun to play Watching two aoe's hit people back to back for 4k is a blast lol.

What the hell is a trinket? The RELIC and adrenal don't proc the gcd, so you can literally run your fingers across f1-f2-f3-f4 like i do, which takes less than a second, and then cast cain lightning/deathfield. Or thundering blast/chain lightning, or thundering blast / shock, or crushing darkness/affliction. RELICS and Adrenals do not use the gcd.

Yes, the mercs do crit for 5-6k every shot. I believe you are right though that was heat seekers, and i checked and double checked last night when we ran EV again. Yup, same exact order. Noone pulls aggro off the tanks, but the one dps who is 2nd on the aggro list always gets blasted by that first boss every 30 seconds or so.

Not wrong. Sorc dps 1v1 or in a boss raid is significantly lower than a similarly geared sniper or merc. Just to prove it, we have the 3 in near full rakata, and when raiding on bosses, the merc always holds 2nd aggro ( proven on the first droid boss in EV ) who randomly targets the 2nd on the aggro table for the railshot. The merc always takes the cake. When the merc is not with us, the sniper takes the railshot, thus the sorc follows the sniper. Mercs spam abilities allow them to do 5-6k hits every gcd, whereas a sorcs is 1.5k every gcd. The sorc can hit 8k or so in 1 gcd if they use thundering blast / chain lightning at the same time with the talent procs, but that is once every 15 seconds. A madness sorc has the highest dps, due to increased dot damage, increased dot crit damage, increased dot length, and the hardest hitting aoe's, which those aoe's are the hardest hitting spells in the sorcs arsenal in madness. As for which class you want to play... sniper. They are about 5% of the population, and theres generally only 1 per 16 man raid, so you will be geared within 2 weeks of hitting 50 like ours is.

I have 14.5% alacrity, and it scales funky with the already 50% alacrity given by the talent buff, which takes the cast from 2.5 down to 1.1. Crit>Power>Alacrity>Surge. Since surge is pretty useless at high amounts now, crit and power is the stackable stat. Since I'm healing, I gimped crit a little because I got 5% from talents, and another 5% from operative buff taking me up to 44%. So at the current time I have it at 37%, alacrity at 14.5%, surge right at 70%, and the rest is power, about 300 points in it. 1979 willpower. I used to be able to get 99.1% surge with adrenal, yet after the nerf, it would only go to 79%. My heals already overheal people, with crits around 6.9k, haven't hit the 7k yet. So in general, I stacked more alacrity on to be able to heal different targets faster.

I just spent 1k crystals on gear that i vendored for 15k credits a pop. Problem solved.

1.0 rakghouls + december 13th release was for functionality. 1.2 is bringing hundreds of changes, customizations, etc. Just be patient.

Alacrity is not the worst stat. I have capped Surge at 70%, Crit at 35%, the rest is power/alacrity. Try shaving .4 seconds off a 1.5 second cast. And no you don't run out of force as heal spec unless your retarded.
