This is a great idea, easily done and it will generate great positive revenue for the franchise. Monetize it baby, hook them with the first one and run with it .

Kinrath Spider 9:30 ESt 4 players. Enough Said Also looking at the trend data (http://www.torstatus.net) it is clearly obvious players are not logging on. There is activity between 1800 and 2000 hours and then it is back to min populaitons. The peaks ( higher poulation times on all servers) are getting shorter in duration and the valleys are getting much longer in duraiton. Without resorting to the hard math it is obvious the number of player sessions have severly diminshed. Most of our player base is now starting over on The Fatman another PVP east coast server. :eek::eek: PS:::: Many of us drank the cool aid, (myself included, yes i was foolish ) and bought the full blown CE and a 6 month script, so we are in this till july 23rd as prepaid customers. Please don't count our cancelled subscriptions that wont expire till mid July 2012 as evidence that the game is growing. :eek::eek:

There really isnt anything particularily inspiraitonal about these. So in the words of Obi Wan " Move along now, these arent the droids (cool armor sets for Republic) we were looking for" A sad ps to this is logging on to find 4 people on fleet 2, 50's the others were two characters in there teens. Legacy armor is only fun when you have people to share it with in an MMORPG not a MSPORPG (Massive Single Player Online RPG) Uzial from the ghost town known as Kinrath Spider :eek::eek::eek:

Logging on to Kinrath Spider as a republic player we have a 8 ( that right Eight (8) including the OP) people in the fleet, will there be mergers happening or will we be able transfer to a different server? It seems the game is dead on our server. Especially on the Republic side. Perhaps it is just a coincidence but at prime time we are lucky to even have 50 plus people on. Any help would be appreciated.

In a technically advanced society like SWTOR clothing would incorporate those technologies. This is evident on the empire side. The Jedi as so cool that they shop in the dumpster or jackroll a street bum in corruscant and steal their clothing. Why would you wear well designed armor to protect your self when you can steal some rags from a street urchin. You simply do not understand the false modesty of the jedi and their ridiculous armors. Maybe when the HateAshbury community starts gaming again we can get some more hippies to play on the republic side with us lol :eek:

Having played and leveled up both, The BH with the same build is superior in every fashion. Why bioware would code the animations differently for the same abilities and add ability delay to the trooper stifles even the best of us. One can only assume they are Republic haters. Look how boring and ugly the Republics Jedis look compared to the Sith and they are surprised as to why we have severe population imbalances in the game.

While lore and marketing are all a part of it most people wanted to go sith because of the story line, and the fact that as an a imperial player you look about ten times cooler then the republic ones do in their middle ages, non tech hippie, monk outfits. Plus you shoot lighting and we throw dirt clods. Its like a cave man verses an M1 tank when it comes to animation and excitment. The Jedi animations and gear are dull and boring compared to the Sith. No one ( with exceptions im sure ) wants to spend their time in a fantasy universe being dull and boring. Flying in the Air shooting flame throwers and tracer missles verses my Champion cotton boots that dont even cover my feet, come on Bio-Ware. Stabbing people with vibro blades verses using a model 12 shotgun, hmmmmm. The sound of the snick as the blade goes in and seeing it stuck in your opponent is much more satisfying then a shotgun blast. Its all been said before, it can be changed, and it is a vitrual world, its up to Bioware to make the republic more attractive. Imbalancing play with battleground buffs is not the way to do it. Making the republic more attactive to play with the right races, armors and animations is.

I have been playing MMO's for longer than i want to admit, keeping that in mind i would like to applaud Bioware for having the wisdom and fortitude to stick to their convictions. Launching 100 servers and making sure you are balancing populatons, load balancing the physical hardware, routers, switches firewalls and virtual machines under actual conditions is a staggering task to simulate let alone perform under live operations. I have seen so many bad launches with 8 plus hour wait times to log on and play with your friends and families in games; that his is a fresh approach. You will be happy they have done it in the coming weeks when the servers arent constantly crashing and you have to wait 3 minutes to loot a gray item as in other games. Sure everyone wants to the the world first this, world first that but if you are on a server that is full and in a starting area jammed with nubs how much fun is that. If you are a Jedi or a Sith Stifle your self in the words of Archie Bunker and either center your self and build your force powers or sit and Seethe and generate that extra rage you will need in game when you get owned by some other player. Patience Padawans, Siths, Troopers, Agents, Bounty Hunters and Smugglers there is plenty of opportunity ahead, they game doesn't end this week. It is only begining so go play in the snow and enjoy the out doors while you wait for that email or that play button to light up. See you nuubs in game soon enough, and no im not in yet either but i will be within the next day or week lol
