  1. Korrealis Prince - Empire version of the Sovereign - obtained same way, also no longer obtainable
  2. Okay so I ran my assassin to level 50 pretty much purely on the Deception spec, and once hitting 50, I found out I was getting pretty much owned all over the place, Now It's obvious to me that I have to respec to stay viable yet my question is, What gear should I be aiming towards, having used a DPS spec all the way up I instinctively thought to go for the gear with more crit etc, being that I will be using a Tank spec (or Hybrid if I can find one I like) should I be aiming for the tank gear or can I still operate in DPS gear? If it helps I have the Battle Master stalker saber (which I bought assuming I was staying DPS) with a +41 expertise crystal I stuck in it and the entire recruit survivors set (which is tank if I'm not mistaken) which I grabbed to try out the Darkness Spec, cheers
  3. No they aren't Unless you count 10 seconds long, which if you do, you are wrong.
  4. I'm sorry I have to say I laughed a bit while reading this post, and no offense to you, You're right, you aren't a tech expert, its just clear you don't understand how rendering takes place in a game. Let me try and help you out a bit Call of Duty most certainly does use texture rendering, every model in game will have its own specific textures and materials which have to be loaded each time the scene is rendered for the player to see. The type of rendering you describe, to my knowledge, doesn't even exist and IF it were to exist, would stress you computer much harder then simple texture rendering. See, a texture render calls up the files already saved on your hard drive, applies them to the model already saved on your hard drive and displays them in a scene, in which every object has had the same process applied. Using a per-pixel rendering system would have to check every single bit of these models and apply the specified colour each time the player entered a new scene. This would stress the CPU an unbelievable amount, and waste untold system resources. It's for reasons like this game developers have tended to stay away from per pixel systems for anything (lighting, collisions etc) Another reason to consider why games like Call of Duty have better graphics and may run better on your system is that CoD is not an mmo. The levels in CoD are small and static with a set number of people in them. MMO's have to render much larger spaces which hold an amazingly larger number of players, all of whom could be engaging in their own activities, separate of each other, with countless more NPC's to boot. Not trying to be negative, just do a little more research, you'll be surprised what you might learn
  5. So I've literally just started playing again, last time I logged in was pre 1.2 so I've missed quite a bit Back in the beginning slicing was seriously lucrative so I grabbed it on 2 chars, then after the nerfs I considered dropping them but ended up not playing. So I now have 400 slicing on 2 chars and am not sure what its actually useful for, any advice on this front?
  6. I dropped UT for slicing around level 20 ish - I'm now 28 with about 400k, I actively buy the mats that I would have gotten from UT and also with my influx of money being higher than what I would expect for my level, find myself indulging in other items on the GTM that I wouldn't otherwise. I buy player made items and armour for my main, alts and friends often, Thus putting a majority of my slicing earning exactly where they are meant to be going. Other players. Beyond people that are simply hording credits I see slicing as being quite invaluable to the economy at this early stage in the game, helping to boost sales on the GTM by giving slicers somewhat of a disposable income
  7. No. I don't find it a let down in the slightest, its just a matter of opinion I guess
  8. While a nice idea, I don't see this working out unless instanced (the housing) This isnt a sandbox MMO and was never built in a way that allowed for this stuff to happen imo, there is always the chance that it could happen, I mean they said they will be adding new planets all of the times, who's to say some of these wont be able to be player controlled? long shot? maybe but only the future will tell
  9. no problem and cheers for the price update
  10. If you are behind a proxy make sure to automatically detect your internet settings, if possible try resetting your router
  11. not sure on the price mate but a quick google search reveals = Level 40: Quesh has level 40 Speeders right past the first taxi. The Republic NPC is N'var and here is what she has for sale.

  14. Let it be known, The people of the Sith Empire will not stand idly by and simply watch these proxy and cold wars from the side lines, let us take arms and eradicate the scum that plague our galaxy, this so called Republic. let them bow before the majesty of the Sith and forever know our power! Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, we gain strength. Through strength, we gain power. Through power, we gain victory. Through victory, our chains are broken. The Force shall free us. Contemplate these words, understand them, for without them, you may as well be fighting for the Republic.
  15. You have diplomacy as a crew skill right? if so its because of that
  16. Yeah there does seem to be some decent money sinks in this game but to be honest, If you play the money game right you can always keep your self ahead of the curve
  17. Just reach level 28, I have 350K in cash, 2 extra bag rows unlocked *thats 5k, 20k, 50k* one extra cargo bay unlocked *thats 40k* Speeder Training trained and have spent about 30k on the GTM... seriously, how do you not have any money?
  18. My friend I commend you. I actually had to force myself to stop playing the space missions as I was beginning to horribly out level all of my class quests!
  19. It happened to my friend. he then 'advised' me to jump as the elevator was going down. Victims claimed
  20. It comes in your mail. AFTER you have redeemed your CE Product code that you get with the game, yes, some people have gotten the game already. If you have not yet actually recieved the game, and entered the CE product key (once again this isnt your CE Pre-Order that gives you the crystal) you will not be able to get these items yet
