mightylawngnomes, nice post. At this point I don't feel too strong one way or the other. I have been a active subscriber since launch and have kinda lost that lovin feeling for SWTOR the last few weeks, just because I feel ive done everything in the game I wanted to do. I have played this game a ton of hours and enjoyed it for the most part. I thought in the begining we would see a lot more content updates since we are paying a sub fee. So 7 months in I've payed around 105 bucks not counting the box and the game really hasn't had $105 worth of content updates since launch imo. On that note I would like to have the F2P model and pay the $ when the expansions comes out. This game had a bunch of money thrown at it with bioware behind the wheel, so some stuff I originally thought a sub game would have (pretty new to the whole mmo thing) would be stuff like cosmetic armor/clothing sets every month or so, continued story bits, new social mini games and more importantly world events. I would pay 15 bucks a month no problem if every couple weeks when I logged in there would be some sort of event taking place somewhere in the galaxy. It would give the game a feeling of being alive!

Advent Rising. I loved that game! It ALMOST seems like they could be in the same universe, Maybe way after Star Wars takes place. The main character Gideon uses powers similar to the force but a little more potent IMO. He can levitate objects, use a power similar to the sage's disturbance, force field similar to saber ward and much much more. Aliens see the use of these powers in a religious sort of way. If I remember correctly humans used to be common in the distant past but became elusive and religious figures to other civilizations that populated the galaxy. Humans fled or something to earth where they forgot how to use those powers. They are then hunted down by seekers for fear of humans rising to power. Since Star Wars happened along time ago in a galaxy far far away, and Advent takes place in our galaxy in our future, Maybe a seperate human civilization found a way to use the power of the force in different ways with no knowledge of what was happening in the past ouside our galaxy. I know its probably not true and this was just something I thought about recently and I thought it was fun to speculate and share. With all the EU stuff out there its hard to keep track of anything. Though I beleive I read somewhere that E.T was in the same universe as Star Wars so who knows?

This is a fun read. I find it strange when I get a invite right when I get to a planet, look around and no one is there. First I think I might know the person but it always turns out to be some crazy. If I ever need a hand with something I ask in general chat for a hand, explaining what im trying to accomplish. The best one was reading about how the guy kept harrassing the player for cheap materals, going so far as traveling to the planet they were on and leaving with out saying anything after they got what they wanted. Sheese, I never quite a group even after its done without saying thanks for the group or something like that.

Ive been really looking for this. I think it would look awesome for my character. On Torhead it shows something with the same name but different item. It shows the eye patch while I get the stocking cap. I'm on fatman so If anyone finds it and wants to sell it, please let me know. Nevermind. I see I have the spider helment and not the viper. my bad.

I am level 41. When you bring down your character sheet under ranged it will show your minumum, maximum damage prim. Then It shows your secondary below it. Mine is about 440 at the moment. I was serching the internet about the smuggler eye patch and I ran across a thread where someone posted a screen shot of their character wearing the eye patch with the character sheet open. They were level 49 and valor 14 this is what there stats read Damage (pri) 4849-6659 Damage (sec) 591-1098 Bonus damage 273.9 Accuracy 96.75 Critical Chance 28.86 Crit Mult 70.50 My question is How? I thought at first glass it was hardmode mods but they are level 49. My stats like i said above for damage (pri) under 450. this person is a gunslinger.

From the tone of your thread I get the idea your pretty new to the game. I agree with what you said. I thought when I read it, I was on a page from a few months ago. I guess Bioware can keep getting new players, but they will still have the same concerns alot of us had right from the get go. Maybe some of these concerns should be adressed so Bioware can retain the new players it recieves so the game can grow.

Hi Bioware! I have a suggestion that I think would add a cool dynamic to dueling other players. This would be completly optional but lets say you have the option to have a "pool" between dueling players. It would be similar to the trade screen. You could place credits or items in the "pool" to go to the winner. I also think it would be sweet to place bound items........ say a blaster. Maybe a A-300, that even if bound to the loser, would then bind to the winner. Woudn't it be awesome to be using a blaster you won in a duel? or lightsaber,vibroblade you get the idea.

Yeah, I'm a bit disapointed. My character with legacy 20 on Ajunta Pall. can not join my character on the fatman. I guess I shouldn't have rerolled to the fatman two months ago.

Everything about clothing is personal prefrance. I really like the smuggler look right off from Ord Mantell. I like the simple leather jacket look we get from the begining, then I LOVE the jacket we can get off esseles. I'm happy with the options we have got with the smuggler. The game feels like its been out longer then 6 months.

I didn't read your spoiler cause I don't want to be spoiled but...... This class is awesome! I've played JK, JC, BH, IA, SI, SW. Only my JK was 50 and my JC is 45. The others were high 30's low forties, abandoned then deleted on long forgotten low population servers. I know I'm not very high level yet but but I am having far more fun gameplay wise already then I had on most of my others. Now i'm wondering what took me so long to give this class a go. I guess this being Star Wars I wanted a force class. I love the responses you can give and the devil may care attitude.

I'm convinced SWG does not suck. I'm still here cause I don't think this game sucks either. I can play both. If this game will eventually get much better than swg ever was..COOL. I'll be playing it. I liked the housing in SWG. A place to put the stuff you didn't want to sell. We get a cargo box in SWTOR but you got to admit, its kinda cool to display it right?
